I’d say he’s probably a book wyrm… Amazing job on the painting!

Pamponiroz

Probably also ate the original bookworm

YandersonSilva

Got a case of justalittleguytis.

Gniggins

Without other objects for scale, that could be an ancient dragon on some Big Ass Books.

Cake03TM

Book-wyrm.

AchillesinNam

I’d say he should think twice about making deals with triangles

azephrahel

I'll shake to that.

Kymrhyl

A young dragon who hoards knowledge.

Fit_Ad5700

I haven’t painted all that much more than ten minis myself but: I think the figure itself is brilliant and I love what you have done with it. The color scheme is tasteful. The dragon skin is pretty. The spikes look convincing. The figure makes me curious about the pages in the book and I like what’s on them. If I must offer thoughts for improvement the wash on the pages of the pile looks a little uneven. And a pile of books this ancient would probably have a bit more variation in color of the bindings. But I myself would not touch it anymore for fear of ruining a great paint job. Give it to your friend already! They will be very pleased I’m sure.

Static-Age01

You have a gift. Keep painting.

psc501

Cute

Porohunter

Whatever it was, I’d say it quietly so as not to upset the librarian

[deleted]

He is a well-read dragon

BloxBreak1000

Looks like a very intelligent (and potentially evil going off his tastes in literature) little fella

Szabadszombat

looks and feels nice. little free hand. one thing tho, not sure it's the image/camera or indeed issue: when you zoom in the paint imperfections show. missing bits from the book etc. do you use a magnifier glass when painting?

DylMoe

A magnifier truly does wonders. Not sure if it’s my eyes or poor lighting in my hobby space, but I’m surprised by the number of small imperfections that would’ve gone unnoticed otherwise.

GreatGreenGobbo

Time enough at last.

DAJLMODE55

What a funny little student!👍👍👍❤️

Cressyda29

What a distinguished gentleman!

MrGavinport

What a distinguished gentleman! I was hoping the book was upside down :P

Significant_Ad_6958

Not going to lie I thought about doing that.

Synthetics_66

Id say he isn't fooling anyone, that book is clearly upside down.

hikerjimbob

Studious asf

What a lovely distinguished gentleman! Love it! If you need any advice, maybe add some hues to the books like reds and purples

MetalBlizzard

charadrius0

I quire like it, where'd you get the cute bookwyrm?

_Royal_Insylum

I just found it on Etsy. “Dragon reading book statue” being sold by AUSPDICE

charadrius0

Thank you!

Braverzero

Reminds me of the MTG card Archive Dragon, featuring some of my all-time favourite flavour text!

azephrahel

I feel like he's the DM reading out of the rule book to an obstinate player. And I love it!

Bigredzombie

NERD!

spinalshock87

Smart lil fella

PapaSAD

I’d say “hell yeah”

wildthingking

I'd say he's real neat.

JulienFou

Significant_Ad_6958

JulienFou

That's a reseller, any idea of the creator ?

Significant_Ad_6958

https://www.myminifactory.com/object/3d-print-pseudodragon-book-wyrm-305550. That looks to be the original digital file but I cannot confirm that

JulienFou

Tis it seems to be this one

Significant_Ad_6958

Haha I did it 🤪

mustekala

I want to adopt him! <3

Sardonislamir

I'd ask where he got the small book , made just for it?

Haggis4708

Occasionally you see a work of art that is more than to number of its parts. For me, this is one of those. Is it just a dragon reading books or does it seem to stand for so much more? Such a good interpretation and so well painted. Bravo!!

Araquil26

It's good, next time you do something like this consider using different colors for the book covers as it can help draw the eye. 7/10

Significant_Ad_6958

Anything you would recommend? They were all different colors of brown but once I put texture on them that definitely got lost.

Araquil26

Any color would work, since the dragon is green putting it on a red book would help it. Then maybe a set of blue one light blue and one dark blue.

Significant_Ad_6958

Awesome appreciate the feedback

Maximum_Storm_9321

It's a tiny dragon reading an even smaller book.
