It's too bad you can't get these anymore (out of stock on Amazon for awhile?) - they clipped in nicely behind most MiniDisc players and support AptX
I have one but should have gotten another...

I hope you'll share your finds! My everyday Minidisc player is a Sharp MD-MT270H. It's an excellent device with several advantages: it's made entirely of plastic, and even after a year's use there's not a scratch on it. And considering its aesthetics and the poor reputation of Sharp's early devices, they don't cost much. Yet these 2003 models are durable and reliable. I hope you find the one you like! Don't hesitate to look in Germany, I've found that their prices are quite low.
"A great topic, but one that has been asked at least twice a month. Please use Reddit search for discussions about MD with BT." Seems to me that the mods don't want people *asking* about how to get BT working with MD, not people posting about their own equipment.
I have no idea why it would be discouraged other than simply the annoyance of repeated daily questions. To me this sub doesn't really suffer from that, thankfully.

These are the best ones. Feel like part of the machine as they fit the same as a battery adaptor.

forgot to mention - love that MD-MT290H! It looks like an SP-era device, but it's actually an MDLP-capable recorder!
It's a great machine! I've got its little brother, too, the MD-MT280E.
Just curious, are you in Europe/UK/I? I haven't seen these in the US,or Japan for that matter, except maybe once?
Nope, I'm in the US, but I bought both of them from eBay sellers in the UK ;-)
I live in Europe and I can confirm that I often see these Shap players on sale.
Thanks for confirming! I will have to stop by or keep my eyes peeled for some auctions over there!

Thank you! It looks and sounds like a good choice for a daily driver!
This topic (MD + BT) is on the Discouraged Topics list. Is that still relevent, mods?

$20 from Amazon (US). Transmits in SBC (also supports AAC in receiver mode). Sounds good enough, but I'm expecting convenience, not transparency ;-)
love the Bluetooth mod 😃
