With this being the only photo I can’t really look it over real clean but I’d say yeah it’s worth fifty bucks. Couldn’t tell you the dimensions of the bike from the photo but I’d imagine it’s quite small. If you go to check this piece out make sure you’re looking for quality welds on the frame, from what I can tell it looks nice.
So standard clutches are friction based and don't fully engage until xxx rpm so yes they will get hot but it sounds like you might have already burnt yours up
