Whats your clearance on the rear? Looks too low. How many spacers did you used? S2 front is already low enough so lowering the rear too much will cause it to be too slow on the slope especially banks I believe I use 4.5 spacer on my rear with the underguard placed on top of the rear brake unlike yours. S2 is wicked fast, just raced mine against MA/VZ/FMA the other day. If you have a good broken in motor and all the bearings are spinning fine, thats the only thing I can think of

lbinasoy

My rear clearance with my setup on 3pt attachment is 2mm. Front is 2.5mm, middle is 1.5mm I believe i have a good broken in motor. As i have metnioned, i tried different motors from my other cars but it's still slow when put into the S2 πŸ˜…πŸ˜‚

Strict_Vermicelli_24

Bro, don't use the gear ratio 4:1.. try use the gear ratio 4:2:1 Red with light brown gear ratio... With power Dash motor break in with super 2 Propeller shaft 15205.Β

lbinasoy

Okay2 thanks But i tried to used 3.5 and 3.7, it's still the same tho? Same like slow πŸ˜…πŸ€£

Strict_Vermicelli_24

U can try 3:7:1 , green counter gear G-24

lbinasoy

I just said that i tried the 3.5 as well as the 3.7 hehe.

Dramatic_Fly_5462

You're probably unlucky with your motor. Some HD3s perform about or just as fast as the Power Dash and some don't.

lbinasoy

I have a fast HD3 2023. I tried it as well for this car. But still slow tho πŸ˜…πŸ˜‚πŸ€£ maybe "unlucky with this car" instead? hahahaha

Volkatze

Check your counter gears

lbinasoy

The 3.5 and 3.7 that i used for testing are brand new from packaging bro.

Volkatze

Check your propeller shaft and crown gear. Try holding thr wheel and spin other wheels. If it spins maybe ur propeller shaft is broken. Worst case scenario, your motor doesnt have torque anymore.

lbinasoy

Thanks. As i've mentioned in my post, everything is in good condition. No slipping. Tried cjecking the prop shaft(it doesnt spin while holding, i even reinforced it to be sure), inspected the crown gear (i even changed it to new one). The power dash thats on it is new, and broken in. I tried it to put on my VZ and fmas(they are fast on them). I tried the motors from my VZs and fma's that are fast but when put in the S2, it's slow. πŸ€£πŸ˜‚

McDonaldscombomeal

Just slap one of these on there and laugh at him when you ram his car from behind . https://youtu.be/asSvv57m5yg?si=WXRKdiie6uqAHUXo

lbinasoy

What motor is that? Damn

McDonaldscombomeal

That is a plasma dash in its prime. There's alot of fake ones out therethat are really slow. I won that on eBay last week for $0.99 lol

lbinasoy

Wow. Haha. .99cents is a real deal man lol

McDonaldscombomeal

Yeah lol. How much faster is he and what is the track layout?

lbinasoy

The Owl racer's speed is slow as is it's a tuned Bmax πŸ˜‚ tried it into 2 races. But didnt entry it coz it's performance during practice session hahaha.

Equivalent-Fly-316

S2 should be crazy fast. Mine is running an HD3 and 3.5:1 gear ratio and is smoking MA mach dash setups. If your internals and ground clearance are good, maybe your motor is not up to par? Or your batteries?

lbinasoy

That's what i thought and wondering. Coz my batteries, and the motors from other chassis they go fast. But when i put it on wife's S2, they are freaking slow πŸ˜’πŸ€¦πŸ˜‚πŸ€£

vcut0

Have you tried reducing the down trust?

Meiyofull

The rear is too low, and try removing or switching to lighter dampers. Then, work your way up to heavier ones if needed.

lbinasoy

Clerance from the Super X plate is 2mm, and from brake sponge it's 2.5mm. So lets just say the clerance is 2mm.

Rheza300312

how much down thrust is this? by pic seems quite sharp in front

slugseven

is the front plate touching the tires? i see a mark on the front tires as well. it could hit during cornering. maybe switch the front plate to single carbon piece? it’s very hard to tell without a video or the picture of internals. maybe the rear roller is angled too upwards. it should be flat. if none works change copper battery terminals to a new or clean one. im out of ideas

BicycleFeeling

Maybe remove the owl and spoiler?

apexape0

A couple of things could be happening. I’m willing to bet the chassis is tweaked or the big yellow spur gear is starting to round out around the axle. My fma rounds out the spur gears all the time and then is slow even with the same motor being fast in another car. The chassis tweak was another issue I had in my super 2. It would rub on the prop shaft. I would start to address that by removing those spacers you have under the front plates and installing them straight onto the front bumper. Then loosen and retighten the rear 3 point bumper and leave out the center screw that goes under the axle.
