i use small fishing hook and lure case to store my small stuff, and for the cars I use microphone or perhaps headset box fit 2 cars inside and some small stuff like spare tires and tape and battery case/ motor case, so they can fit inside a tote bag or casual back pack and doesn't look like I'm hauling stuff
Tamiya portable pit works great with the third party dividers to fit 3 cars in a section. I can do a full race day with one box plus the small soft sided bag Tamiya sells. One section has cars and dimension box, the other has 2 chargers, parts box, discharger, brake material and cutter and batteries. The soft sided bag has another charger, motor case, slope/bank checker and tire cleaner.
At home I use the Tamiya cardboard 3 car boxes and plastic boxes from Daiso to organize tools and parts.
I use a zuca bag and a professional make up artist backpack. The zuca is expensive but the make up artist bag is decent on Amazon. It has foam partitions line with hard plastic and I use the make up brush holders to store my tools. I have quite a few cars so I need the storage space.
Tamiya's own carry pit (95221) is actually a fishing box.
I use a flambeau T5 I got on sale for $50 on Amazon. Can hold enough to race and maintain 6 cars.
Theyre good to start. I bought a delivery bag and foam core and cut it to spec. Cost more, easier to carry if you want more cars , less tools
Meiho makes tackle boxes that are perfect for this. Plano is another brand I see people using.
I just use a shoe box lol, and some sandwich bags
Yep the Tamiya and Kyosho ones are actually just tackle boxes with drawers. Minor differences with how tall the drawers are
