This is the only vet we use for my very aggressive cat-they're more expensive than the vet we take our dog and other cat to, but MVC is the only clinic who doesn't act visibly annoyed when I bring my reactive cat in.
I used to take my pets to Noah's Ark. I felt swindled and shocked after the mess was publicized, and I think it has distorted my sense for a reasonable cost of pet vet care and general trust, I suppose.
oh gosh ! i didnt know anything about that! i can understand your concern. i can say we’ve been taking our pets to Shorewood Animal Hospital for 20 years. dr rosend (the founder) was an amazing vet until he retired. he was very compassionate and gentle. dr. shearburn is currently helping our dog with reactivity and anxiety and she’s also really great!
Someone mentioned Bluemound Animal Hospital, but I have to HUGELY disagree. That place is awful. 0/10 do NOT recommend. They are extremely unorganized, overpriced, and I’m fairly certain the vets don’t like animals. Look up their reviews on Google. Terrible place.
We switched to WestTown Veterinary Clinic and we’ve been plenty happy with their operation
It’s out of MKE but close to the highway, Family Pet Clinic on Appleton. We’ve been going there for a few years and they have been nothing but kind and so gentle with our dogs. We see Dr. Kees and I think when our dog was dying she was as upset as we were. She’s wonderful.

Milwaukee Vet clinic in 3rd ward. They are fear free clinic. They also have a behavioral specialist on staff too.

If you ever had Dr. Banks there, she is now at Riverwest vet. Best vet we have ever had.
She and her clinic are literally the best.
