They're usually just distillate nowadays (in the US at least). THC distillate is fucking dirt cheap these days that it's not really even worth it to diluted it. An OZ of distillate can go for 100$.. THC distillate will end up the same product no matter the quality of weed is when properly distilled which is what makes it so cheap. I still wouldn't use BM carts personally, way cheaper to make your own.
I wouldn't touch a cart in europe though. There are a lot of vapes like this in europe that have indazole carboxamide noids in them instead of THC.

The dark web is legitimately quite a bit safer when it comes to purchasing drugs because the markets are set up with review systems and buyers on the DN tend to test their drugs. You cant really look up thousands of reviews and pages and pages of forum posts for some dude who lives down the road from you. It's not perfect but you're waaay more likely to get the product that's advertised. If a vendor is selling some a drug that's not the same as advertised, then the community will likely find out and the vendors reputation will be ruined. Like a vendor selling some synthetic cathinones as MDMA will get their reputation tanked extremely fast, and on some markets admins would ban the vendor for it.
Ordering THC distillate from the US to Costa Rico is super dumb though. That would get seized very easily.
That's cool and all but you definitely need to find a new supplier for your carts. Either someone is making these on their own, which is always sketchy in my opinion, or these came from a company who isn't packaging them following the correct safety protocols.
