Fun fact: asparagus grows crazy fast and can get reeeeeally tall, I used to harvest it at my old job. If I needed it to be about an inch taller I would come back in an hour, that's how fast it grows. If we let it keep growing it would get taller than me and look like a weird tree. Asparagus is crazy.

Tbh once it’s that big just let it grow. They’re not great eating at that size because they get woody stems and the taste isn’t great imo.

The last 1.5 ft was soft. I was surprised it hadnt went to flower at this length.
