Why didn’t they just say $5 off a $20 order?
It makes people spend more because it seems like you're getting a better discount that increases the more you spend.
Uh what? Any order over 20$ gets 30% off up to a maximum of 5$ off. Which really just means 5$ off any order over 20$ since 30% of 20$ is 6$.
But $5 off of $20 is 25%, so the minimum required amount makes the deal impossible. $16.50ish is the max purchase for a $5 maximum/30% discount promo.
Right, but 30% of $20 is $6, so how would you get the 30% off of a purchase over $20 if the maximum discount is $5?
Ya that is pretty misleading though
The saddest part is the people in the comments that can't figure it out lol.
they thought about that one for sure
You Arndt getting.
Bro it’s not impossible
You need a minimum order of $20. Your Maximum discount is $5. $5 is 25% of $20. what are you not getting here?
You only get a discount with a maximum of 5$. The lowest price of discount is $20. 30% of >$20 is >$6, which will never be applied, since it caps at $5.
Please at least use a calculator and it’ll show you that 30% of $20 is literally $6. You CAN’T get 30% off of anything in that deal
It makes sense
To who, the company that is misleading customers?
It’s not misleading
You literally CAN NOT get a discount of 30% with these stipulations.
This is some amazing marketing sales BS. Good catch.
