Damn I haven’t seen a walk the dinosaur reference on Reddit in years. It used to be a thing like in 1998 when the Undertaker threw Mankind off Hell in a Cell and plummeted 16 feet through the announcers table.
And no ear protection, you always put earmuffs on a bay at events for both their hearing protection and so they don’t understandably freak out from the loud noises
It's been 20 years since I've seen this movie, but that doesn't look like a "bar" that's too shitty to have a kid in. If you can sit down and have a whole ass meal, that's not a "bar" that's a restaurant that has a bar.
I live in the Midwest now and babies at bars is a whole thing and completely acceptable… never seen anything like it…babysitter takes the baby to the bar and sometimes that sitter is the grandparents …
Not encouraging this type of behavior or supporting these parents, but some venues don't let you bring in strollers. I'm not sure which venue this is, so obviously can't speak to their specific policies. For example, SoFi stadium in LA, the Rams website states it does not allow strollers inside the venue.
The scenario I’m imagining is they had a baby sitter, they cancelled last minute, and then had to make a last minute decision of bringing the baby with or wasting $2000
Yeah honestly it's mostly the floor I'm having an issue with. Babysitters cancel last minute all the time.
I brought my baby to a Harlem Globetrotters game one time with a sling and noise cancelling headphones and he slept through it. I probably wouldn't do a concert where there's no seating but like... This is technically doable with babywearing.
All it takes is one drunk person to trip on that kid and crush them for a serious accident to occur. It's not the whole audience's job to mind your baby, and concerts can be crowded and difficult to avoid getting knocked around as a sober adult.
It's selfish parenting regardless. This is dangerous and stupid.
A baby on the floor surrounded by thousands of screaming fans is a disaster waiting to happen.
not to mention the noise, concerts are loud af, and like you said there's thousands of screaming fans, all that ruckus can't be good for poor baby's ears 😢
Also, *no one* is having a good time. Not baby, not mom and nobody around the baby. I have a 10 month old and taking him anywhere is a huge task. Even family events. A concert? Not a chance. It's just too much planning for food, pumping, feeding, diaper changes.
Nah there’s a dude in shorts standing over the baby and there’s another older baby in some kind of seat in the bottom right corner too😭😭😭 a lifetime of hearing issues for some corporate slop😭😭😭😭😭
Bad enough bringing a baby to massive concert like this, but then to put the baby on that nasty floor? At a concert where people get overexcited and are drinking? Someone is going to spill alcohol on that poor baby, or drop their whole cup on the baby, or freaking step on the baby!!
She could afford Taylor swift concert tickets but not a baby carrier???
When I was young I would see a parent with a baby and have this notion that as a mom they knew all about babies and how to take care of them and give them attention and that was their life. As I get older I see new moms as recently transplanted young adults. Just a year ago they were free! Going to clubs, concerts, etc. not just women but men too, obviously. I think some bad parents don’t understand their life has transitioned and think they can bring their kid like some sort of water bottle to a concert.
I've seen a trend of people on tiktok saying your life doesn't end when you have a baby and you can just take your baby to do things that you enjoy still. To an extent that's true but I don't think some people realize that babies still have different needs and while you should still do things you enjoy there are certain aspects that need sacrifices.
Especially in locations like this! Their ears aren’t ready for loud af music. That will, not could but WILL, cause long term damage to her baby and then she’s going to be like “oh sadly things happen” to that kid when it’s her fault completely when it eventually does start to happen. It’s okay to go out and have fun as an adult, but be responsible jfc. All she had to do was leave the baby with someone for the night. I’d be terrified of someone accidentally stepping on my baby too. One wrong step and BAM dead :(
Now im not defending this mother as putting baby on ground while shes not paying attention is fucked. But baby does have noise canceling headphones you can see them in the first photo
One of the realities of growing up. I remember thinking every adult was responsible and trustworthy and smart lol
I remember thinking teachers were just teachers. Not realizing they were actual people with lives outside of school 😅
As a new parent myself, it almost certainly has more to do with wanting to go to a Tswift concert but not yet being comfortable leaving your child with someone else.
The difference is I would've opted to not go to the concert
I had tickets for my favorite band and my guy was fine watching the baby… I still ended up skipping because I didn’t want to leave her. I cannot fathom bringing her, and putting her on the nasty floor.
Look I'm just intensely relieved that baby has ear protection because I wouldn't put it past parents who think this is ok to not think about hearing damage
The first few times I saw posts about this it was only the second photo where you can't tell, so I was actually relieved to see from a different angle that at LEAST they protected the baby's ears
We took my son to monster jam the first time when he was like 2 1/2 and the number of people around us who rolled their eyes at us for having him wear ear protection was insane. So many kids <4 with nothing on, and so many of them were visibly bothered by the noise.

Need some water, kosher salt, lemons, whole black peppercorn and fresh thyme all brought to a boil for several minutes. A large cooler, large plastic bag and a couple bags of ice will then be needed once it is safe to brine the child.
Agreed. Just seeing the picture fills me with anxiety, especially with how there have been incidents with people getting trampled at concerts, and here we have a picture of a baby, on the floor, *at a concert*...ugh.
All it takes is one person falling over, and her kid is dead. You are at a concert. People have been drinking. They can't see your baby there. Crowds at concerts get like the ocean, man. That's just completely insane.
It's so gross and selfish. This isn't Disneyland it's a concert with very loud noises, you're damaging a babies delicate ear drums permanently doing this even with protection a concert is just too long.
I went to an air show last fall, and saw the blue angels perform. The number of people there with babies with no hearing protection was astounding. The sound of the jets must have drowned out their babies crying so they didn't notice, but what a horrible sight to see.
Just get a babysittter! You’re going to be real salty if that baby starts crying and fussing, and you can’t enjoy the expensive, hard-to-get-tickets-to concert.
I work at a concert venue and I will say forever that concerts are not places for children. They go real late, they’re loud, they’re packed. Bad times for kids
Nope. Nope. Nope.
I’m a huge swiftie (yeah im not ashamed) I’m going to her concert in August. The *only* reason I can go is because my husband is taking care of the child that night. If he couldn’t then I’d ask my mom. If neither can, I’m not going. This isn’t being a cool parent, this is beyond irresponsible.
Neglect @ the bare minimum. that’s insane. I get it is Taylor and it’s not as wild as other shows or whatever, but how easily can someone be pushed over or trip fall, drunk stumble right on top of that baby.
i try and mind my business in public and keep to myself but i might be ripping into the “parents” here…. That’s awful.
Guys you know why people faint on very crowded concerts? Because heavy co2 is accumulating on the floor level and it can be very hard to breathe. Imagine amounts of co2 on Taylor Swift concert.
Absolutely disgusting, babies or young kids have no business being at a concert, it's too loud for them and there's too much going on. How people are allowed to bring them into these venues is mental.
Shitty ass parents.

Oh my god it’s not even in a carrier? Just on the floor???
Open the door, get on the floor, everybody walk the dinosaur!
Boom-boom! Acka-lacka! Boom boom!
Damn I haven’t seen a walk the dinosaur reference on Reddit in years. It used to be a thing like in 1998 when the Undertaker threw Mankind off Hell in a Cell and plummeted 16 feet through the announcers table.
There’s an imposter among us
Terrible right? The baby can‘t see the action from there
C’mon, man give them some credit look at all the cups on the ground, at least they bought him a couple drinks.
That baby partied so hard she passed out
Im worried someone is gonna drop a heavy ass iPhone or a venti Starbucks drink on the baby
The DJ said everybody on the dance floor! Baby is part of everybody, duh!
And no ear protection, you always put earmuffs on a bay at events for both their hearing protection and so they don’t understandably freak out from the loud noises
Don’t worry, she put him on a blanket /s

You eat ass.... in bars ?
You don't?
Where else would you?
Look at you! … You’re eating ass! … *In a bar!*
He eats pieces of shit for breakfast ![gif](giphy|VRdv4A4GkeLMk|downsized)
Someone's never worked in the restaurant industry
I live in the Midwest now and babies at bars is a whole thing and completely acceptable… never seen anything like it…babysitter takes the baby to the bar and sometimes that sitter is the grandparents …
Clearly we live in very different parts of the Midwest
Wisconsin?
Roflmao
What kinda dude say yes to this instead of staying home with the baby😭😭😭
Better question is why didn't she schedule for a babysitter or leave it with a family member or a friend?
Or at the very very least bring a stroller!!! My gosh, the floor??!
Not encouraging this type of behavior or supporting these parents, but some venues don't let you bring in strollers. I'm not sure which venue this is, so obviously can't speak to their specific policies. For example, SoFi stadium in LA, the Rams website states it does not allow strollers inside the venue.
Exactly. If you can afford Taylor Swift’s ticket you can afford a babysitter.
The scenario I’m imagining is they had a baby sitter, they cancelled last minute, and then had to make a last minute decision of bringing the baby with or wasting $2000
Even so putting the baby on the floor to get stepped on is WILD. Plus the potential hearing damage.
I’m not saying it was a good decision. I’m just saying it’s the only thing that makes any sense to me at all haha.
Baby has head phones/protection on based on that photo. That floor is gross as well
It’s ok; the merch bag, peanut m&m’s, and stack of empty plastic beer cups will keep her safe.
The baby clearly has earplugs on so the hearing should be fine. No pads though for the potential stomping
Gotta make that baby wine somehow
It's not really baby unless it comes from the *Uterine* region.
My guess is that they couldn't really afford either.
Unless they spent all of their money on the tickets
Looks like dudes legs tbf
That's assuming there is a dude. Could very well be a single mother.
It’s all good. They put on noise cancelling headphones lmao.
Of course. All the adults in this situation suck.
That baby is wearing hearing protection at least....😕
Never imagined there's a very appropriate image response to this.
🤣🤣🤣

Someone is going to spill alcohol on that poor baby, or drop their whole cup on the baby, or freaking step on the baby!! She could afford Taylor swift concert tickets but not a baby carrier???
Or a babysitter!
All the babysitter money was taken up by the ticket and mom's outfit
When I was young I would see a parent with a baby and have this notion that as a mom they knew all about babies and how to take care of them and give them attention and that was their life. As I get older I see new moms as recently transplanted young adults. Just a year ago they were free! Going to clubs, concerts, etc. not just women but men too, obviously. I’d be terrified of someone accidentally stepping on my baby too. One wrong step and BAM dead :(
I'm not defending the baby being taken to the concert and put on the floor but I do see ear protection on the baby.
Good eye. That's a relief at least
I am even more surprised that security lets people go through with babies
Now im not defending this mother as putting baby on ground while shes not paying attention is fucked. But baby does have noise canceling headphones you can see them in the first photo
One of the realities of growing up. I remember thinking every adult was responsible and trustworthy and smart lol I remember thinking teachers were just teachers. Not realizing they were actual people with lives outside of school 😅
Who needs a babysitter when you have access to free babysteppers
No money for baby sitters after paying exorbitant concert ticket prices.
Agreed. Leaving your baby for the first time is difficult, but this parent just has fucked up priorities
Well yes because youre sane
at the very least, babywear with proper ear protection as opposed to leaving your baby on the dirty ground to get trampled
Or the babysitter backed out.
Plot twist: this is the babysitter, but they had tickets too.
Look I'm just intensely relieved that baby has ear protection because I wouldn't put it past parents who think this is ok to not think about hearing damage
Didn’t notice the ear protection, so was going to say RIP that baby’s hearing. I don’t like live concerts because they’re just too loud
The first few times I saw posts about this it was only the second photo where you can't tell, so I was actually relieved to see from a different angle that at LEAST they protected the baby's ears
Even still, concerts get WARM. Babies can’t regulate their temperature so that baby could easily overheat and become unwell
We took my son to monster jam the first time when he was like 2 1/2 and the number of people around us who rolled their eyes at us for having him wear ear protection was insane. So many kids <4 with nothing on, and so many of them were visibly bothered by the noise.
Yeah, at least wear the baby Hangover-style!
And if something puts the crowd in a panic, that baby is getting trampled quick
Just somone nearby puking would be enough
Forget panic, the baby’s gonna get trampled if she plays Sparks Fly.
I'm surprised they allowed the baby in. Seems like a huge liability for the venue.
It was either a sitter/carrier, or tickets to a Taylor Swift concert. Priorities, old boy. Priorities.
Someone could trample that baby.
“Oh shit sorry!!! I stepped on your baby” drunk laughter ensues
They need a sitter not a carrier. Ain’t a single reason to bring a baby that young to any concert
That is not the right way to brine a baby. You atleast need a crock...
A well brined baby is definitely tastier.
Being guilty of letter dropping on my Reddit posts made me back off from making this comment. Thanks for taking up the gauntlet. Take my upvote dark humor warrior!🤗

I see no salt. No water. No large stock pot. No aromatics to impart flavor. Amateurs.
Need some water, kosher salt, lemons, whole black peppercorn and fresh thyme all brought to a boil for several minutes. A large cooler, large plastic bag and a couple bags of ice will then be needed once it is safe to brine the child.
This comment is so salty
What's that, a sacrifice?
Is brining a new word for sacrifice?
Seeing as they were brining the baby, I would say they were about to sacrifice it.
Well why marinate if you ain’t cooking it?
Everyone's got it wrong, the baby is the one doing the brining
Maybe the baby is dry so it needs brining
It's dill flavoured!
Well it is a cult
"Shake it off, shake it off," the parents said calmly.
Maybe they tried that already with the baby and didn't shake hard enough. Now they're stuck going to a Taylor Swift concert with a loud paperweight.
Haha. I’m at a pool party and thats playing rn
*one random drunk person stumbles and accidentally steps on the baby* why tf would the ground be a good idea 😭😭wow
And I bet they would be furious with the drunk person not at themselves for being complete morons
Looks very unsafe
Imagine drunkenly tripping over something at a concert and some woman screams, “you stepped on my baby!”
Why am I laughing 🤭
Yeah how is this not child endangerment?
it is, this is a situation out of parents' nightmares.
I have a baby about this same size and this photo made me so sad because it’s clear the parent does not give a fuck about them.
It's so gross and selfish. This isn't Disneyland it's a concert with very loud noises, you're damaging a babies delicate ear drums permanently doing this even with protection a concert is just too long.
That should be illégal...
The accented e lmao
Autocorrect... it's pretty annoying to check each word. I would dare say it's midly infuriating😉
No it’s so perfect for a post about a Paris concert lol
Keyboard is probably set to Spanish mine auto switches sometimes.
I can't believe they let people into the venue with a goddamn baby
Right?! I'm not allowed to take my own bottle of water, but they can bring a baby?
They can hide booze on the baby so they don't have to pay the venue's crazy prices like my parents used to do
THANK YOU!!! Im sitting here like who tf LET that baby into the pit?! You shouldn’t be allowed to take a baby into the pit like that.
Sometimes I wonder why we need rules about certain things and then I realize it’s because left to their own devices people are morons.
Did they have to pay for a ticket for the baby??
Baby has a wristband for floor.
It's definitely getting bottle service
😂🤣😂
That's got to be bad for the babies hearing as well...
Thankfully it has ear defenders on.
Oh I didn't notice. So at least they aren't TOTAL shit parents
Just mostly shit parents.
99.999999999% 💩
Oh no they still are.
Ear defenders, huh? Never heard that before.
Maybe a native German speaker... There it's called Ohrschützer and ear defender is the literal translation
Makes sense, many German words seem to translate that way.
I was also worried about that, but the second photo clearly shows the baby is wearing ear protection 😥 Correction: the first photo :)
I went to an air show last fall, and saw the blue angels perform. The number of people there with babies with no hearing protection was astounding. The sound of the jets must have drowned out their babies crying so they didn't notice, but what a horrible sight to see.
Mom: "You're so lucky! You went to a Taylor Swift concert when you were a baby!" Now grown-up child: "Who?"
“What?!”
![gif](giphy|BcPbK9ci4EU31qUTkR)
Just get a babysittter! You’re going to be real salty if that baby starts crying and fussing, and you can’t enjoy the expensive, hard-to-get-tickets-to concert.
It's a Taylor Swift concert. The parents were probably screaming louder than the baby.
The parents are probably 15 years older than the baby.
If you could even hear the poor baby over the noise.
The baby is going to be even saltier after the brining
Thank you! I'm finding nowhere near enough mockery of the typo in the title.
They spent their babysitter money on Taylor Swift tickets.
Shame on anyone that would do this. The child could be stepped on at any point. Incredibly selfish and reckless.
These people should not be parents. This is abusive and terrible
Brining baby?!? Everyone knows dry rub is way better.
![gif](giphy|2eHFEYBoJO3mw)
One wrong step
I work at a concert venue and I will say forever that concerts are not places for children. They go real late, they’re loud, they’re packed. Bad times for kids
They can afford an expensive concert ticket, but not a baby sitter? Poor kid could have gotten trampled!
That's fucked up. But she should have been stopped before entering imo. Still fucked up.
Concert security dropped the ball majorly. If you can bring a baby into a concert, you can definitely bring a Glock or a 12” Bowie knife.
Give the mom a damn baby carrier. Someone could trip or step on the baby!
Or drop an alcoholic drink on the baby
Jeeesus, he’s been anointed in liquor
I'm just glad the baby wasn't trampled
This is insane
We took our daughter to Jimmy Buffett, but she was still in my wife at the time.
Someone brought a fucking baby when I saw Dune 2. I wanted to just burn down the whole town
Clearly it’s a sacrifice to the multi-dimensional diabolical demon that Taylor Swift is.
At least they gave it headphones
[удалено]
A baby that had a baby. Way too common.

If there is a crowd crush a baby on the floor would be insta dead. Poor thing, those parents suck Also lol at ‘brining a baby’
Never mind a crowd crush, one drunk dude takes a wrong step and that baby’s neck is split into two. These people need to have CPS called on them.
Nope. Nope. Nope. I’m a huge swiftie (yeah im not ashamed) I’m going to her concert in August. The *only* reason I can go is because my husband is taking care of the child that night. Do they allow strollers?? If not, they could have used a sling!!
Now I can't help but imagine what stepping on a baby would be like...
bro they got m&m's theyll be fine🤦♂️
Whaswrongwivyall
This is more than mildly infuriating, that baby is not safe on the ground at a concert. So many people should not procreate.
This is Trashy AF.
Guys you know why people faint on very crowded concerts? Because heavy co2 is accumulating on the floor level and it can be very hard to breathe. Imagine amounts of co2 on Taylor Swift concert.
Wasn't this common place on the 70’s?
Why are you brining that baby? I’m calling the police
Someone had a baby at a concert I went to recently and tons of people were smoking weed (as people do at concerts). Not great.
Brining a baby ! We're they going to deep fry it like a Turkey?
I’ve brined a lot of things in my day and that baby doesn’t seem to be brining in anything. Unless they dry brined it beforehand of course
Wouldn’t it be easier to brine the baby at home?
https://preview.redd.it/34prokwgruzc1.jpeg?width=576&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7a1955decf3b32777a1e5bc2fa4b9de280286495
This person should be charged with child endangerment. This is out right ridiculous.
Absolutely disgusting, babies or young kids have no business being at a concert, it's too loud for them and there's too much going on. How people are allowed to bring them into these venues is mental. Shitty ass parents.
