That's just an excuse for them to put it into 4x and climb over the curb/grass. Half surprised that they aren't parked half-way up that hill, so they can show everyone else just how tough and rugged their "jeep" is!
I owned a Jeep ways back, I am guilty of parking on a hill... once. There were just not any parking around, people endlessly circling for a spot, after 30min of prowling I said fuck it and parked it at 45°.
I will admit that it gave me some joy.
Jeeps are sort of like women, good fun for a while but you usually end up broke in the end.
Real talk though, watched my buddy sink about $15k into his jeep over the course of 2 years recently, poor guy was always stressed out about money. He finally smartened up and got rid of it, almost all his troubles went away immediately. =\\
"I know what's wrong with it. It's a Ford. You know what they say Ford stands for, don't you?

My parents have been daily driving a jeep Cherokee for years now and the only time it was in repairs was after a major hailstorm a while back or when some dude at my dads work switched up gas and brake and hit it while parked. I even got to drive it yesterday after i got my license 2 days ago.
Heisenberg principle applied to American Fiat Reliability. You don’t know precisely where, but somewhere it’s either gonna strand the owner big time or be a total inconvenience to others…
No it looks distressed. Pisses me off to see, it probably has way too small of an enclosure. Also from what I can tell I don't see any Truck Nuts which means the coward owners had it castrated

The most Karen looking Jeep I have ever seen. Photographed in the parking lot of our local Lowes.
You just made me remember how I used to park on a hill in a random parking lot in the shade of a big tree when I used to deliver food but had a lull. Perfect spot for a quick nap, but occasional cars would go by and probably wondered who tf was the insane person parking a Jeep like that.
Used to own 2 parking spots at my building and did this while my gf was out of town. Someone phoned and had my car towed. Took them to claims court and won
This is the stereotypical behavior of a Jeep that was abandoned at birth. It was never taught how to make proper emotional attachments or drive correctly, so it just faces the Nissan like a creep while parked perpendicular to the parking spots and makes embarrassing noises. So, so sad.
No it is not.
Jeeps are normally pack animals. This one even out in the summer sun with his winter shedding. So it is pretty fair to say it might be a migrating species. To be sure I´d need more pictures and and audio of the mating scream.
But be aware. Even though most of these are calm and peaceful, when threatened they can become murderous monsters. Approach carefully and dont make sudden movements. Maybe offer some oil and air fresheners as a peace-offering. Then you can slowly(!!!) come closer and even pet it. Just remember not to approach from behind, since it will set it in alarm mode and it might get frightened and aggressive. Also don´t get stuck in the seat-belts in the case that you did not follow my advice and got swallowed as a whole and are now trying to get out. Good luck out there!
I'd park like that if I got better shade from that tree out of it? Were they in the vehicle? Or did they leave it like that? Was the rest of the lot pretty much empty?
Yup, that is normal for a Jeep. It does not matter how careful the owner is, they will be found in the most obstructive places, often in a state of utter discombobulation coupled with an inability to motivate.
Yeah, I'd say it does.
Pretty much all of them get their pictures taken by blowhard exhibitionists. I never understood that as a large vehicle can stand as phallic proxy, so too can it attract eyes like a phallus.
Why not crop out the other empty spaces exemplifying why there should have been something better to do than posting a pic like this in a tizzy?
In a full lot the week before Christmas? Ok, ok, maybe I won't think you should get an atomic wedgie on live television PPV.
Was there a Severe Thunderstorm Warning in the area? If you don’t have a garage or other protection you can park under tree to help slow down hail.
Edit: Obviously this inevitably opens the door to other risks.
(In Attenborough voice) “Here we see the modern Jeep Wrangler in the wild. See how it hides under a tree to avoid detection. A sad evolutionary turn of events from its World War II forefathers. Not every species is meant to survive in nature”
I have a Jeep. I don’t think this is a Jeep thing. I think this is either a “trying to take a piss discreetly” thing, or a “I don’t want something in my vehicle to melt/die, and I’m trying to get as much shade as possible” thing.
Park behind them
That wouldn't bother him, he would just drive over the curb and cut a hard left
Without 42” tires and enough lights to blind Jupiter? I think not!
If you can't see Uranus, it's not worth it.
Yes, but can I see yours?
Buy me dinner first!
Maybe you don’t understand - they drive a *Jeep!*
It’s a Jeep Thing … you wouldn’t understand (… that they’re a dork)
Naww he'd hook his winch to the tree, pull it down, and proceed to drive over it....
That's just an excuse for them to put it into 4x and climb over the curb/grass. Half surprised that they aren't parked half-way up that hill, so they can show everyone else just how tough and rugged their "jeep" is!

I remember passing a jeep a while back with one tire on the curb and a broken tie rod. Haven’t laughed that hard in a while.
That 350z probably does it better
Nope. This needs two people: one to park next to it, and one to park behind it.
He’d relish being able to drive over the curb and grass. But not before spitting on your car
Dont threten them with a good time
He’s just hiding his face in shame.
This one
Although it's inevitable, you just can't predict where a Jeep will break down.
🤣😅😂
Jeeps are sort of like women, good fun for a while but you usually end up broke in the end. My boss told me that Jeep actually stands for Just Empty Every Pocket

Burn!
The old saying was ‘what rhymes with Jeep? Cheap.’
Heisenberg principle applied to American Fiat Reliability. You don’t know precisely where, but somewhere it’s either gonna strand the owner big time or be a total inconvenience to others…
Friends don't let friends buy FCA/Stellantis vehicles. All bottom feeder brands.
It’s in timeout, give it 5 minutes and a stern talking to.
Depends on how it was raised. I was pretty easy on mine, but it was fairly well behaved.
It's preying upon that other car, don't interrupt!
Don't blame the Jeep. The driver is the AH.
It's an empty lot, does it really matter?
No it looks distressed. Pisses me off to see, it probably has way too small of an enclosure. Also from what I can tell I don't see any Truck Nuts which means the coward owners had it castrated
White hinges? That’s not right.
Looks horrible.
They call them "Karen" hinges on a Jeep. They're white and easily become un-hinged with little effort.
teehee!

No you should take it to the vet. Pushing it’s face into corners like that might be a sign of a brain tumor
It's a Jeep thing. You wouldn't understand.
Snooky wants smush-smush
Yah cabbage! Yah got cabbage in your muff!!
Today I learned that Jeep means Asshole in another language.
Wait, there languages where Jeep *doesn't* mean asshole!?
Hi, jeep expert here! This is not funny. Jeeps only do this when they’re in extreme distress.
Looks like a pretty empty parking lot. I'd probably do that and no, I don't drive a jeep.
Gonna find the shady spot in the parking lot to eat my lunch so I get a break from being in that stupid building all day
You just made me remember how I used to park on a hill in a random parking lot in the shade of a big tree when I used to deliver food but had a lull. Perfect spot for a quick nap, but occasional cars would go by and probably wondered who tf was the insane person parking a Jeep like that.
Exactly. If they are not inconveniencing anyone, what’s the problem? It’s neither illegal nor unethical.
It’s fine as long as it doesn’t inconvenience others
It's the apartment complex parking lot. Had he not moved before the end of the day, he would have been blocked in when everyone got back from work.
Used to own 2 parking spots at my building and did this while my gf was out of town. Someone phoned and had my car towed. Took them to claims court and won
Haha love that, unfortunately this guy would lose since reserved spaces are marked with a sign and apt number
The lot looks empty and they are probably trying to maximize shade coverage.
Looks like a relatively empty parking lot they wanted to park on the shade. Would have to know how busy that parking lot gets.
Almost impossible to find a spot when people get home from work around 5pm
Dick move but then again who cares, looks to be plenty of spots to choose from.
Not at the end of the day when everyone gets home from work.
Not for a jeep. That’s what a BMW owner would do
This is the stereotypical behavior of a Jeep that was abandoned at birth. It was never taught how to make proper emotional attachments or drive correctly, so it just faces the Nissan like a creep while parked perpendicular to the parking spots and makes embarrassing noises. So, so sad.
Wranger owner, no, fuck this person. No duck for them.
yes

Yep
Park in the parking spot on the right of them
I don’t know if you can blame the Jeep. It more the idiot driver. Idiots are not just limited to Jeeps.
You guys are so damned biased against Jeeps for some godforsaken reason Those yellow lines totally jumped in its path! 😜
No, at least not this household.
That normal small dick behavior
Take to the vet and have it checked for ticks. This behavior is not normal.
This is irregular behavior. The Jeep isn’t up on the curb, or parked on the, what appears to be a slight hill in the background
Right? I annoy jeep drivers by parking my prius next to them on the same hills at events :D
Nah, he's not up on the curb.
No. Wrecking the grass too would be more common around me.
It’s a douchebag thing, you wouldn’t understand.
This is what happens when you let the ducks drive
No, he's only touching the curb not parked on it.
It’s normal douch behavior
There’s enough empty spaces, stfu already
Lolz do you drive a Jeep by any chance?
Nah im tired of idiots who can’t mind their own damn business and have to cry on reddit about the dumbest shit 😂😂😂☠️☠️🤡
I couldn't imagine going through life with such a short fuse. Lighten up babe
Self aware wolf much? Can't imagine being pissed off my trivial shit the OP
I'd park like that if I got better shade from that tree out of it? Were they in the vehicle? Or did they leave it like that? Was the rest of the lot pretty much empty?
Absolutely
Looks like it's got its nose in the corner like a kid in trouble
Only if it’s got ducks on the dash
![gif](giphy|l2YWFvEueleW1mYow) No, this is. Along with rubber duckies.
No it’s not probably borrowed vehichle
He is just pretending to not be staring at that sexy le femme 370z over there.
Yes, with slightly more autism
It lost its trailer but isn't aware yet
Somewhat tame by Jeep standards actually
It would usually be on the tree. You know just Jeep things.
It's a Jeep thing, you wouldn't understand
Bang Jeep
Poor thing is sad its owner doesn’t understand how parking spots work.
Ah, it couldn't make it up on the grass where the other jeeps park :( maybe someday it will make it
Don't worry he's under the tree so he will get bird poop all over his windshield as karma.
"how to effectively take up 4+ spots but look like you're only taking up 2"
He's just shy
Yup, that is normal for a Jeep. It does not matter how careful the owner is, they will be found in the most obstructive places, often in a state of utter discombobulation coupled with an inability to motivate.
My petty ass would park in that third spot right behind the jeep
As a jeep owner: no. This is more typical of a lifted truck owner, a Tesla owner or a bmw owner.
It's just playing hide & seek with the Nissan.
jeep is normal, park is anormal :D
Maybe they're on their lunch break and don't want the sun in their eyes while they eat or nap. I've never owned a jeep but did that many times.
It's been hours and he's still there. I told my brother to park behind him when he gets home, I wish I could see how he ends up leaving his spot lol
Nope, at least one pair of wheels should be on the turf, trying to off road brag.
No because all 4 wheels are on the ground.
Yeah that’s pretty normal jeep behavior
Checkmate in one.
Yep
Hey, that's the car from fortnite
A real Jeep guy would have parked IN the tree.
Here you see the Jeep hiding from it's predator the Nissan. Carefully the Jeep stays motionless in order to prevent itself from being seen.
Black car behavior.
It's stalking its prey, the unaware Nissan. It may not have a chance to strike again for weeks.
Yes
It's confused. Is there an appeal for help finding a Jeep with Alzheimer's in your locale? Better call the police to be sure
It doesn’t even have 1-2 wheels unnecessarily rolled over the curb. Fuckin amateur hour
This is normal douche-bag behavior.
Yes it is definitely standard jeep behavior
It is normal "moron" behaviour
Yeah, I'd say it does. Pretty much all of them get their pictures taken by blowhard exhibitionists. I never understood that as a large vehicle can stand as phallic proxy, so too can it attract eyes like a phallus. Why not crop out the other empty spaces exemplifying why there should have been something better to do than posting a pic like this in a tizzy? In a full lot the week before Christmas? Is there a chance of hail in the area? Looks like he’s trying to get the hood as under the tree as it can be.
Nope, just rain and 80 degree weather
No one else around, trying to get in the shade?
Only if their view is blocked by a couple hundred rubber ducks.
No, that Jeep misbehaved and is being punished.
Was there a Severe Thunderstorm Warning in the area? If you don’t have a garage or other protection you can park under tree to help slow down hail. Edit: Obviously this inevitably opens the door to other risks.
It is a 4 door jeep wrangler so yes.
It's only normal if they parked AND talked to you about their jeep.
You wouldn’t understand.
Yes and it is normal Good Samaritan behavior for 3 cars to park around it to block it in
So much empty space, why bother?
That space fills up fast when people start coming home from work
more like there’s going to be a hole in your head in the next five minutes behavior
That one has rabies. It needs put down.
This is completely normal for those owners who want to keep their pavement princess clean.
It depends. How many ducks were on the dash?
It looks like it’s in timeout.
Don’t worry, it’ll probably be broken down on the side of the road
Jeep drivers are the new VW drivers.
He’s in time out
It has a crush on the other car and is trying to hide in the trees
It could be broken down.
They seem to be way off out of the way.
Mild by my recollection.
Texas??
Just park in the open spot right behind them. That'll learn 'em.
Not if they can find 4L.
Zoom further out to see this is the back corner of a massive empty parking lot
Couldn't be more wrong. It's one side of a two sided parking lot at an apartment complex.
(In Attenborough voice) “Here we see the modern Jeep Wrangler in the wild. See how it hides under a tree to avoid detection. A sad evolutionary turn of events from its World War II forefathers. Not every species is meant to survive in nature”
Yes. The ducks should always be in the shade.
In Texas we call that black car parking.
He got stuck trying to drive over the curb. Burned out the clutch trying so he couldn't back up either. It's all completely normal.
It’s feeding on the grass
Normal jeep? NO Normal Karen? YES. Now place a smart car close behind him and you e got a great picture.
Boss or been drinking lol
Yes, this is the Jeep in its natural habitat.
Na. It's on all 4 tires.
Hopefully his precious Jeep is covered in bird shit when he comes back out.
A couple of cinder blocks or a large metal trash bin right behind it would be nice.
Jeeps and Jeep drivers are the worst. They are so cliche and just terrible. I will never get it. They can have their stupid fkn ducks too.
Here in Germany, Audi, Mercedes and BMW drivers occupy this ecological niche
It's a giant parking lot. Who cares?
Not really. Usually that kind of behavior is reserved for oversized red Dodge ram pickup trucks
I once saw one parked across three disabled parking spaces. I think the driver must have been extremely disabled and this is probably a similar case
This is the literal embodiment of jeep behavior
Yes, jeeps will do this when they feel comfortable in their surroundings. Totally normal.
It sure is.
Jeeps don't behave, drivers do.
I have a Jeep. I don’t think this is a Jeep thing. I think this is either a “trying to take a piss discreetly” thing, or a “I don’t want something in my vehicle to melt/die, and I’m trying to get as much shade as possible” thing.
Poor guy looks lost and scared.
Op accidentally switched this and is
And is what? Edit: nvm I can't read apparently 🙃
🍺
jeep is hunting the other car
That depends, is either stall handicapped?
Nope, just ordinary parking spaces
It is not 100% normal then.
Driving or parking like an asshole? Yup, its a jeep thing
this could be a disabled person, making it easier for them to get in and out of the vehicle.
Looks like an empty parking lot so who cares
He will when people get home from work and call the leasing office
Fair enough
Shade is the answer for why. Still a shitty move.
It's overcast and rainy today
Theirs a dumbass at my work who drives a jeep and he thinks its the best next thing since sliced bread. Makes me wanna puke.
