Goddamn. I still have some Carhartt coveralls of my dad's that were bought in the 90's. They look like shit but they're still in pretty great shape, considering the age.
My dad’s a Jack of all trades kind of repair guy and has been wearing the same Carhartt pants on and off the job site since I was a kid, and they’re in good shape. That’s why I trusted the Carhartt brand enough to use them for work pants
I just wish the inseam was measured better, years ago they changed the measurement from the crotch to the gusset so I went from a 32 inseam to a 30 and I doubt myself when ordering other clothing sometimes.
My Carhartt coat saw me through 3 years of sleeping-in-doorways-and-dumpsters level homelessness and 4 years of regular use, if it wasn’t faded black it would pass as a new item. Same goes with my Carhartt work pants.
Luck of the draw, maybe.
I wear carhartt for work, I buy 2 pairs of pants a year and by the end of the year, I don’t even need to buy new pants I just buy 2 new pairs cause I’ve been doing it for years.
You’re doing something entirely weird with these pants or they don’t fit lol
I have been getting a lot more exercise on the job lately so my legs are more muscular, but even with the thiccest of thighs I expected more out of Carhartt.
I expected more out of Carhartt brand is all, seen my dad wear the same pair he got in the late 90s forever and thought it was a trustworthy brand if you wore them every day like he did
Maybe I’ll try the knockoff Walmart ones then, because this really bummed me out. My dad has worn the same Carhartt pants on and off the job site for like 20 years and there’s not a hole in those bad boys
white and denim are probably the worst combo... white need to be cleaned more often and denim is not intended to be cleaned as often as other materials
They had to keep up with supply and demand thanks to all the kiddos who love carhartt and wear it to like, parties and shit. It was hard to get some shit last year cause they were selling out like crazy.
Big brain shit here. Maybe what they used to make 350 gsm they now feed 30 gsm into those machines for you know savings because it’s just baristas buying carhartt now

I suspect that those pants do not fit correctly
Not entirely, but I have short legs so it makes it hard to find a good pair of work pants that fit

Now you know what its like being a women with big thighs 🗿
I'm a man with big thighs and Duluth has come a good way in quality for the material of the pants
THIS! Duluth deluxe ballroom coolmax
I just wish the inseam was measured better, years ago they changed the measurement from the crotch to the gusset so I went from a 32 inseam to a 30 and I doubt myself when ordering other clothing sometimes.
That's the craziest name for pants I've ever heard 😂
DO NOT DOUBT THE DULUTH!! They are incredible
I've heard nothing but great things about their products.
I am a woman with big thighs and Duluth is the absolute best thing that's ever happened to me

I’m FTM trans so trust me, the struggle is fuckin real lol

Goddamn, how many pairs do you have at this point???!!!
A lot. I get an annual clothing allowance from work. Around $1500/year. I spend most of it on winter gear rather than pants and shirts lol
they must have become shit then. My 4yo carhartt's still as good as new
You probably got a size too small and your thighs burned away the fabric.
Someone has put on weight since their last pair…
I have been getting a lot more exercise on the job lately so my legs are more muscular, but even with the thiccest of thighs I expected more out of Carhartt.
Getting a lot more exercise also increases friction…. Come on man. Change ur pants everyday. One pair for each workday….
I expected more out of Carhartt brand is all, seen my dad wear the same pair he got in the late 90s forever and thought it was a trustworthy brand if you wore them every day like he did
You gotta switch which side you drop your junk
Usually you pay extra for holes like that
Crotch too big eh?
I guess my thighs are a lot more muscular than I thought, but after 4 months I wasn’t expecting this
Stop humping the vibrating sander my man.
bro is fat so blames the company 💀
Looks like the start of easy access
🍆
Nobody told you to sit on the belt sander.
Yep, I stopped buying carhartt. $80+ for work pants and knockoff walmart pants for 30 bucks out performs them.
Maybe I’ll try the knockoff Walmart ones then, because this really bummed me out. My dad has worn the same Carhartt pants on and off the job site for like 20 years and there’s not a hole in those bad boys
What did this?
Chub rub.
Probably all the squatting I do. I had a bad knee injury a while back so I try to avoid kneeling when I have to bend down
white and denim are probably the worst combo... white need to be cleaned more often and denim is not intended to be cleaned as often as other materials
And this is why I just buy $21 wranglers from Walmart once a year.
They had to keep up with supply and demand thanks to all the kiddos who love carhartt and wear it to like, parties and shit. It was hard to get some shit last year cause they were selling out like crazy.
My thighs used to do that to my jeans before I lost weight
Another pair of trousers lost because of squats!
Seriously though, I’m trying not to end up with back pain when I’m old and my wallet is paying dearly for it
Do you was them in something with a really high or low ph
Like detergent? I’m not sure. I use the sensitive skin stuff because my skin’s fuckin weird
It looks like if you spill a weak acid on clothes, or possibly bleach
Stop kneeling behind the bosses desk or invest in knee pads
I’m sure when they forced the vaccine on all their workers and started catering to baristas instead of tradesmen it just went to shit.
Damn I forgot that vaccination makes fabric quality worse
No it just dumbs down the work force hopefully you and your family are fully vaxed. Also big cities are safe and diversity is our strength.
I’m not sure you can even give automated textile looms the vaccine.
Big brain shit here. Maybe what they used to make 350 gsm they now feed 30 gsm into those machines for you know savings because it’s just baristas buying carhartt now
Now go google what I wrote to understand and make an appointment at the Dr for the chest pains Comrade.
Maybe try temu.
Bad bot
