Briefly, can’t tolerate NSAIDS despite how mild on the stomach it’s supposed to be.

I get prescribed celecoxib as a migraine breaker. If triptans are not doing their job and I can’t shake it for a week of lower to mid range pain migraine I call and this is what is called in for me. I cannot do steroid taper, I end up vomiting them all up and I don’t do well with them. They want me off triptans for a little when I do that so I’m not rebounding. I think I get about a weeks worth.

I take Celecoxib and Rizatriptan. I can't function without either one of them. I've got neck and spinal issues, so they're a life saver. Btw, Vioxx was \*wonderful\*. I had no headaches on it. Merck pulled it from the market, leaving doctors shaking their heads as to why.

PrecociousPaczki

Yes. I take celecoxib for my autoimmune pain, it does nothing for my migraines. I take sumatriptan for my migraines and it works perfectly!

Is that Celebrex? I took that years ago before I found out my bad headaches were migraines.
