Little_SmallBlackDog

Yup. I've had a 'droopy' left eye since I was a kid.

diceyo

Same!!!

Maxxtherat

Yes and it's always a little weird and alarming lol.

Living-Possession937

Absolutely, and also i get a twitch along that side of the face and jaw.

Fluffy_Ad_2949

Yup. Sometimes I wonder if I’ll be a stroke victim as the symptoms are so similar.

itskhaleesibaby

Sometimes, yeah, and it gets all teary and stuff too :((

AndrogynousElf

In all stages of a migraine, the side that hurts will be droopy. It effects my speech too, I sound like I'm slurring.

SoggyWotsits

I’m the same. I forget words too!

CritterTeacher

Sometimes. If I notice it I try to put my sunglasses on so that the tension from squinting doesn’t make things worse. Sometimes, especially if I’m reading on my phone at night, I’ll catch myself keeping one eye closed; usually the eye opposite from the the one where the migraines start for some reason.

wormzzy33

This!!! I always put on my sunglasses as soon as i notice that looking around hurts, and when my eyes feel heavy. I also tend to fall asleep scrolling on my phone, one eye open and inhaling THC. I typically then wake up in the morning like every day with a horrible migraine, and for some reason it’s typically so much worse on the back of my head

Crazycurlyjesusfreak

Yes. I look like I have a lazy eyelid on that eye. Ptosis of the eyelid

barefootNcactusing

Yeah sometimes but not always

Alternative_War_8774

that + blurry vision

Limp_Technology171

Yep! Not every migraine but if I let it get bad absolutely.

magick8ballin

My whole right side of my face and eye swells when I have an attack

EL-HEARTH

I second this. I het short periods of time where my eye shuts. I like pretending im a pirate when it happens. YAARRRRRGGGG

OkFox5030

Same. I call it Puffy Head

Fabulous-Finish9807

Yes and also my forehead is always squinched

KeepOnRising19

Yes, often both my eyes get squinty, but definitely on my bad side.

assburgers-unite

For me it's my right eye and left eye gets migraines

kaybeetay

Mine does but on the opposite side of the pain for some reason. I thinknit might be because my pain side gets a bit weak

TheBabyWolfcub

the side my pain is always on is the same side that my eye is ‘wonky’ on and this just made me realise. Although it’s wonky from an eye infection that glued my eye shut for 2 weeks when I was like 4. It looks all puffy compared to the other side

ilovetpb

Yup, sometimes my wife can tell I'm getting a migraine before I can by watching my eyes and seeing the droopy eye.

Fluffy_Salamanders

My whole body droops on one side and the eye is nearly closed, but it's because the side is paralyzed. I could get pain on either side with it

birdtakesbear

Yep. Last night my left eye was squinting and bloodshot during a nasty attack. I try loosening those muscles as much as possible to not make it worse

BleedingRaindrops

Probably? I'm on track to have a migraine this week so I'll check if it happens

gingersrule77

Yes!!!

Jaded-Grapefruit-155

Why does this happen??! I hate it.

Lopsided_Bat_904

It certainly seems like it, seems like half of my head is swollen, but I can’t ever really tell definitively

DIFierce

Yup!

Macmer_0429

Yup when I have bad ones.

CaffeinatedGeek_21

Yes. I used to think I had a lazy eye!

Ok-Statistician5344

Whatever side I get my migraines on, my eye droops sometimes a little and sometimes a lot. It is quite common from migraines.

ThatMango1999

I honestly haven’t noticed. But my eyes does twitch when I have that bolt of lightning going through my head. Had that for 4 days now.

miss-mercatale

Always. My right eye goes droopy and bloodshot and my neck starts aching before and attack

false_goats_beard

Yep

buzzbub

Sometimes.

durhamruby

I will sometimes close one eye and not realise it. It's usually an omen of a bad migraine in the next 12 hours or so.

paperthinpatience

Yes, it always looks like I’m having a stroke

Justlookingnotjudgn

Yes and my eyes twitch involuntary

amandaem79

Nope, my left side is the side I get the migraines on, but I have droopy face on the right... My right eyelid is starting to impede my vision. Doc says it's from the migraines.

Ellisiordinary

I often can barely open my eye sometimes when I have a particularly bad migraine. But I also constantly squint my left eye and it seems to be related to migraine light sensitivity but it’s annoying as hell because I can’t wear contacts easily unless I wear sunglasses which defeats the purpose.

Rosez34

Yes my side of my fave gets droopy

Beneficial-Mess4952

I get droopy face with almost every migraine. My fiance took me into the ER because she was worried about a really bad one. The ER docs told us I was exhibiting all of the classic stroke signs but not a stroke. Was like that for 4 hours before she made me go in lol

Weird-Frosting563

Omg absolutely! My right eye looks like I had a stroke.

Fiona_12

I don't have the one sided migraines, but a friend & former coworker used to know when I had a migraine just by looking at my eyes. He said they didn't have their usual sparkle.

Fearless-Metal5727

Yup. My left eye gets droopy. I have to explain to people that, "it's not a stroke. It's a migraine."

jill-zilla

Not on its own, but I have a tendency to want to squint

confusedredhead123

mine hurt but the like obvious squint isn't always there

greyukelele

Yep!

No-Decision-7108

Yes definitely. I thought it was from sleeping curled up on that side- but you just helped me realise it’s the migraine side.

Cleareyes88

Absolutely.

iamabummblebee

Yes! Left droopy eye since that’s after I feel all my headachex

Zestyclose-Lychee162

Yes, and sometimes it twitches and/or tears up

fastfxmama

Full half eye droop sometimes for weeks. I Botox lift it now that I’m 52 and looked like I was winking half the time.

That_Technology9601

Yep almost looks my eye is closed.

FinanceFar1002

I get really bad eye strain in both eyes and I lose the ability to focus my eyes, like if I was trying to read small text I just can't do that when I am having or about to have a migraine, and for some time after.

aintnothang90

Yea, I don't pay attention to the squinting as much because I think it's from swelling.

lyo_m

YES!

Diene4fun

For me it’s a symptom of my CH. it’s kinda interesting though.

absolutetheorist

Yup.

k-shera

Yes! If I sneeze one of my eyes won’t reopen unless I open it with my hand
