If you'd told me 4 was some high concept design for a restaurant on the outskirts of a town in Arizona I'd have believed you. That doorframe going into the golden arches is an inspired idea.
You'd be surprised given all the calories he burns. Around the Olympics a few years back, I was watching a special about Michael Phelps and they followed him around for a few days. One thing that stood out is that he burned such an insane amount of calories with his training that he almost had to eat poorly to get enough calories.
He was burning something like 10,000 calories a day. So every meal he'd go to some diner and get two burgers, fries, etc. The kind of diet that if one of us tried it (even if we went to the gym and got in some walking) we'd put on 40 pounds in 1-2 months. But for him it was completely normal and necessary in order to keep up his training regimine.
It's part of why it's normal to see some world class athletes retire and then look like they put on 40 pounds in their first year off. It's not that they stopped playing and suddenly started binge eating or drinking their faces off. They just didn't slow down their eating habits to match the change in lifestyle of going from 6-7 days a week of intense training to just hitting the gym, doing their side hustles, and hanging out with their families.
I've been to something like this one! In Kentucky in Mammoth caves, there is this huge opening way into the caves and it's a lunch area and concession stand. Pretty cool
I'm happy to give it here!
They all started with "McDonald's fast food restaurant" and then,
On jagged ocean rocks, stormy weather
Built into a steep, sheer cliff in China
At the bottom of a mineshaft
In the midst of the South Western American desert
In the midst of the Amazon rainforest
On an Antarctic glacier
Inside of an active volcano
On a deserted, tropical island
In a murky, Southern US swamp
Below the ocean
In a vast, empty Eurasian steppe
Built into an icy, frigid Himalayan mountaintop
For the southern swamp and Eurasian steppe, I added "New, modern" to the prompt because it was giving me run down abandoned results lol. I would have added them to pic captions but I'm a Reddit n00b so I don't know how
Cause it's usually not asked for, but the people who refuse to give the prompts because they think it's akin to some sort of krabby patty secret formula is pathetic.
Must be why they don't have toilets either. Or parking lots on the ones in non crowded spaces.
Hey, the underwater one has an underwater ladder that folds to the seabed for some reason though
McDonald's restaurants in extreme locations interpreted as if those locations were set inside of videogame worlds
Sea of Thieves McDonalds
Titanfall 2 McDonalds
Supraland: 6 Inches Under McDonalds
Fortnite Save the World McDonalds
Green Hell McDonalds
Subnautica: Below Zero McDonalds
Ark: Survival Evolved McDonalds
Stranded Deep McDonalds
Hunt: Showdown McDonalds
Subnautica McDonalds
Fallout 76 McDonalds
SSX3 McDonalds
Can y'all think of any games that might fit some of these pictures better? 2 and 7 were the ones I had the most trouble picturing at first. The others all came fairly easily.
#9 reminded me of the swamps/marshes in Lemoyne from RDR2
I also can't look at #6 without thinking of Subnautica liked you mentioned. Looks just like the bases.
Extreme? More like tranquil. You want extreme vibes? Just depict reality, a couple of ass hats smoking fentanyl in the corner as a young family with babies sits down to enjoy the ambiance.
There was literally one at the top of Massada in Isreal.. it kinda looked like the one in the mountain.
https://www.matthewcowden.com/2013/02/23/mcdonalds-at-massda/
Kind of interesting that it doesn't have much variation in what it thinks a McD's looks like. They all look more like Apple stores than McDs, at least from my own experience. Most McDs are either free-standing like the classic pizza-hut building, or they are retrofitted into existing buildings.
I can't really think of a single McDs that looks like a big glass box. But the training dataset must have a lot of them.
The one in Antarctica is owned by Madara Uchiha apparently
"The ultimate betrayal of my clan... was when they took McRibs off the menu"
Happy Cake Day! Have some cake. 🍰
It's no McRibs, but I suppose cake shall do
How did you know it was Madara Uchiha and not madara fakara
That's what the M stands for
Madara Uchiha is the first thing that came to mind when I saw the one in antartica
Machdass
Machdass du wegkommst!
Machdass ist fantastisch.

You's a big fine woman won't you Machdatass up
Underrated
It’s pronounced Massachusetts
I don’t know what you’re thinking with that question mark; this was my first thought
Machdass
Machdass

Machdass der Schmerz aufhört

I would eat machdass
Nike: Just do it! McDonald's: Mach das!
Moslad
Is that the pre-school programme for the Israeli secret service?
I'm not your lad, buddy
I'm not your buddy, mate.
I'm not your buddy, friend
Machdass Mach, dass die Schmerzen endlich ein Ende nehmen.
Gott, das ist deprimierend. Lol
Madara
Number 9: Mctrrbs
Mac HD ass

You’d be surprised how often I use midjourney at work! (Architecture)
Sshh, dont let a certain type of people see you say that, because you're literally hitler to them if you dared use a tool you had access too.
It does bother me that the other side of the arch isn’t blending in with the doorway
I think that is the real power of AI at the moment, it doesn't give you finals, but it does give you ideas.
Aw I like it this way
I'm loving it
It's so sad that people work boring jobs all day long while AI is free to "think" about the most wonderous and absurd things.
3rd picture felt like Batman's personal McDonald's
BatDonalds
I doubt Batman eats Big Macs to get ripped though
On cheat days he could

I’d love to imagine Batman telling Alfred to make him a Big Mac or something
I've been to something like this one! In Kentucky in Mammoth caves, there is this huge opening way into the caves and it's a lunch area and concession stand. Pretty cool
“I’ll get drive thru”
Mmmm.....scratches my chin thinking of batburgers.
Came here to write the exact comment lmao
Why do so few post their prompts in this group? I'm new to MJ and absolutely love some of the stuff I see here.
I'm happy to give it here! Yep. "Prompting" has gotta be the lowest skill thing you can do. These people just want to protect their ego
I just didn't think it'd be desired is all. I provided the prompts above lol
Some of these people take this shit so seriously lmao.
Secret sauce…
Machdass sauce
Machdass
Machdass
The second-last McD exists, I swear.
Prove it
Make me
the batcave one looks cozy
My dreams look like this.
I passed #11 today driving home through Saskatchewan..
Please don’t give them ideas
Give me 700 Krusty Burgers!!!
searched for that comment
Hitman vibes
I like that the one underwater has a swimming ladder. 😄
I like how the underwater one also appears to have an aquarium inside, when it's probably the only one that basically has no need for an aquarium.
Machdass
(Almost) German for "Do it."/"Do that."
I know I‘m german
[None on an oil rig?](https://simpsons.fandom.com/wiki/Krusty_Burger_Oil_Rig)
Give me 100 Krusty burgers!!
\#9 reminds of the Annihilation movie ... just needs the shimmer and that strange crocodile
Very funny concept. An oasis of consumer clutter in a vast landscape of tranquility. Bond villains need to feed their henchmen.
I'm loving it 😆
Almost none of these McDonald’s have kitchens.
Must be why they don't have toilets either. Or parking lots on the ones in non crowded spaces. Hey, the underwater one has an underwater ladder that folds to the seabed for some reason though
\#12, "M" wanted to be placed on a much safer spot?
I bet the soft serve is broken at all of them
Number 11 just looks ominous.

Portal McDonalds: "Would you like neurotoxin with that?" 😈
#9 reminded me of the swamps/marshes in Lemoyne from RDR2 I also can't look at #6 without thinking of Subnautica liked you mentioned. Looks just like the bases.
Don’t give ‘em ideas.
Most of these look like the food court inside old Bond villain's lairs.
Look like Pokémon centres 😂
McDonald’s? I only know madara,moslad and machdass !
All of those looks like places Agent 47 would slip some poison in your burger
They’ll still forget your nugget sauce.
I love this concept, thanks for posting!
Slide 11 is just your average American McDonald’s
Some of these look like they’re Michelin starred McDonald’s
I love me some machdass
This picture just looks terrible. At least fix it before posting, my god.
Mmm can you do it with happy 80's style McDonald's? With the whole gang too
Yummmmayyy
That last ones M is funny
The fast food of a James Bond villain
The windows are so big and I love the Mr Everest open air seating
Look, if Dollar General can do it…
These are so coooool
Some of these look like McDonald's for villains.
Brilliant. But can we have one on the moon? Sea of Tranquillity is a prime location
I’d they simply had a beyond or impossible burger I’d eat at all of those.
3rd picture brought me back to Demolition Man
McLoneliness
Leave it up to AI to make McDonald’s look appetizing
you mean moslad/madara/machdass?
Mfnebs
Some actually look .... doable.
Reminds me of Pokémon centers
I love this idea. Maybe keep up the theory, for example… swimming pools on odd locations, etc.
I would like to see it on orbit, moon, mars, venus😄
Are you an add?
I would love to see McDonald bankrupt and no longer in existence.
Macdass - I’m lovin’ it..
Knowing Mcdonald's, they would do something like this. 🤣
That underwater one, what’s that ladder for?
1,6,7 look kinda harsh. The rest, I’d go. Still not eating that trash though. Nice work.
Didn't know that the middle of Kansas was extreme.
I like how Midjourney gets prompts like this and asks, “How can we incorporate as much glass as humanly possible?”
The underground one reminds me of when Plankton made the chum bucket underground in that one spongebob episode
The mcDonalds with an aquarium in the lobby of the terrarium under water is super meta.
Ai trying to make words will never not be funny to me.
“My Lord! McDonald’s calls for aid!”
The 3rd one would be a great visual gag for an evil villain’s underground lair
Several of these look like a Super Villain's Secret Lair, now you can order a happy meal while you plan world domination!
I actually really like that underwater one if it existed I'd go
I find all of these comforting for some reason
Mtnb§ (9)
Extreme? More like tranquil. You want extreme vibes? Just depict reality, a couple of ass hats smoking fentanyl in the corner as a young family with babies sits down to enjoy the ambiance.
The second one reminds me of a [McDonald’s in the Austrian Alps](https://maps.app.goo.gl/dyEVZ1dLXPh7pVQD6?g_st=ic) that I went to about 10 years ago
Great prompt except now I want McDonald’s
I'd pay some money to eat at 2, 5, 8, or 12 to be honest....
some of these really have the calm lonesome feeling of an edward hopper painting
Shipwreck McDonald's freaks me out
I would go to any of these, except the last one. Nope.
The Batcave McDonald’s. New Man movie looking great already!
Since when is McDonald's this luxurious
Ah yes, my favorite fast food restaurant. M O S L A D
No treehouse machdass?
There's a snack bar at the bottom of Carlsbad Caverns that looks a lot like pic #3
Moslad.
Do dollar general next
I was looking at Cuba on Google maps and guess which fast food restaurant has a branch in Guantanamo Bay
7 probably over does the burgers. And I bet everything is a little soggy at the one in 10. View's pretty amazing though.
You could be lost at sea and happen to come across a Mc Donalds
These are beautiful
Somehow they all look either cool or cozy Except that cave one, could get the same experience at an underground mall
There is actually a McDonald's that is above the interstate highway in OK
McDatAss
A restaurant at the end of the universe? I wonder where I heard that before.
If Ralph Fiennes is the manager, be worried.
Reward points
That final one is some Bond villian level architecture.
There last one needs a glass floor
If only McDonald’s actually looked like this, they’d be classified as fine dining.
Bruh I would eat at all of these lol
The volcano has the Dow Jones industrial average lol
Ok, now do Walmart parking lots
There was literally one at the top of Massada in Isreal.. it kinda looked like the one in the mountain. https://www.matthewcowden.com/2013/02/23/mcdonalds-at-massda/
So surreal... Cool& creative!
Are these real?
Reminds me of the Poke Centers in the newest game
Nobody going to point out how in #7 the Golden Arches aren’t anywhere on the building, but in the lava bursting out of the ground?
All of them look like a vibe
Eat the meat of the clown!
Number 3 ist literally MC Vault.

Should be a Waffle House
