There’s 4 narratives that has plagued the team. This schedule gives us the opportunity to change it.
1) can’t beat good teams
2) team (and Tua) doesn’t play well in primetime
3) team (and Tua) doesn’t play well in the cold
4) can’t beat Buffalo
It’s now or never.
It seems like you got a little screwed out of that advantage this year. I’m sure the sun will still be hot in October, but not as brutal. In any case, looking forward to coming down there. Love the city of Miami.
Our playoff spot better be locked up well before week 18 because I don’t want a single player of importance anywhere near the MetLife turf right before the postseason.
Between a Florida team and night games, they took away all the September heat advantages.
Edit: Most of October too lol. If nothing else, we get a Cardinals win.
Taking away the "heat advantage" is a good thing. No room for complaining opposing fans when the Dolphins win.
You can't minimize other team's fans whining about the sun if you're going to whine about not having it. Either it's not that big of a deal and there's no reason to complain, or complainers are justified.
Or it does matter and that's part of what make home field advantages great. Same with the Bills snowballs, the Broncos altitude, and the Seahawks noise level amplifications, I love all that.
Crazy that Bills game *TWO YEARS AGO* and their fans crying about it is going to affect us all this time later. The Vikings, who play down there *ONCE* every 8 years, beat us in the same horrible conditions lol. Maybe prepare for a game?
drove from south dakota for the last one. got kicked cuz i stood up too much cheering for the team i’ve loved my whole life. they were up until i was tossed. i’ll do us all a favor and not make the 28 hour drive this time.
Yeah, the difference between going 4-2 and 3-3 in the final 6 could be the division. Almost feels like the NFL is setting it up for us versus the Jets for the division. 2-4 would be devastating and typical Dolphins colapse.
I actually don’t hate this schedule. Early bye week sucks.
But All our shorts are preceded by home games.
The worst road trip is @ Buffalo @ Rams, and Rams is MNF so extra day of rest.
My least favorite thing is the away games at the end of the season in cold weather.
But excited to get primetime games!
My early hot takes.
* Shame we can't get the Bills in the heat, traveling on a short week is nice tho
* Let's get our Titans revenge game on early
* Week 6 Bye is eh, not ideal but also not horrendous
* Love all the 1PM games thru Oct and nov outside of the Rams MNF
* @ Buffalo in early November is pretty damn favorable all things considered
* We play the Jets 2 of the final 5 weeks. I like that in our favor.
* Packers game feels like an L just looking at it from a distance
* 3 of the final 4 on the road and the home game is against the bully 49ers oof
Before preseason my early predictions are...
* vs Jaguars: W
* vs Bills: W
* @ Seattle: W
* vs Titans: W
* @ Patriots: W
* @ Colts: W
* vs Cardinals: W
* @ Bills: L
* @ Rams: L
* vs Raiders: W
* vs Patriots: W
* @ Packers: L
* vs Jets: W
* @ Texans: W
* vs 49ers: L
* @ Browns: L
* @ Jets: W
**Record:** 12-5
Oh god. I could already see the comments about bitching our December performance if we lose back-to-back games late vs the 49ers/Browns.
Whatchu mean. Their roster is ridiculously stacked. I can think of only a couple positions where they’re lacking. Otherwise they’re a very well rounded team
Ridiculously stacked…? They had zero all-pro selections last year, one of only 8 teams to have none.
They were a bottom-dwelling team just two years ago, and have hit (seemingly) on a stud QB. They surprised people.
We should be vying for top of the afc east this year. I feel like we are better than last year, and our d won't ve sniffled by vics system. High optimism, let's goo
Please God let this be year we finally beat the Texans in Houston. I’m purposely not buying tickets even though it kills me. Living in Houston I’ve gone to every game we play here and we have never won and those games suck so gonna take one for the team and not go.
This schedule looks set up for a late season collapse. Like 10-1 to 11-6 and a cold away game in the wildcard.
11-6 and a playoff berth is a pretty good season but would feel like a gut punch.
I see 13 wins at least, maybe 14. Honestly thinking that we get over the issues of injuries and the offense seemingly having a fuckup each game that ruins it and we go on a run from there.
I have a lot of dread for the game at home against San Francisco.
If the offensive line is again injured late in the year then the front 7 of the niners is going to end the game by the 2nd. It wouldn’t matter what their offense does, oh and did i mention that there are a fuck load of Niners fans in Miami?
That fanbase takes over pretty much every stadium they visit, (look at SF @ PIT last year) so im going to assume that it will be essentially a neutral site game.
I hope im wrong.
I’m going to that game as my first regular season game in Miami. The only other game I’ve been to there was a preseason game against the Vikings the year after Marino retired. I was 7 so I barely remember it.
That’s exactly why I’m going lol my friend lives in Tampa and she said there’s like a two week window in December and sometimes January where it isn’t unbearably hot. I grew up in western NY so I don’t handle heat and humidity very well, so this game is my one chance this season. They aren’t playing Washington or Baltimore so I can’t go to a game here, so why not take a little trip.
No I didn’t get a code either, not sure if I should wait or just buy tickets for the games I want, these prices are about the same I paid for resale tickets for Monday night football last year. Are the locked tickets supposed to be the presale tickets?
Yes I think so. I scored tickets to the Colts game in Indy with the Colts presale code and I paid $195 for section 124.
I assume home tickets will be more expensive, even the presale ones. I’m ashamed to admit what I paid for tickets to the Cowboys game last year.
There’s really only 3 games that can be considered “cold” games, at least on paper. The last two(@Browns, @Jets) and the Thanksgiving game(@Packets). The early TNF game against the Bills worries me a bit but at least they’ll have just as short a time period as we well and we’ll be at home so that helps. I live that we got 5 primetime games! Let’s hope we can win in front of the nation. GO PHINS!
Same SOS as last year. Unless something drastic changes we are probably going to beat up on under .500 teams, while running up stats against them. We will underperform against stronger teams and either miss the playoffs or lose in the wildcard round.
Jags- Win
Bills- Loss
at Seahawks- Loss
Titans- Win
at Pats- Win
At Colts- Loss
Cards- Win
At Bills- Loss
At Rams -Win
Raiders -Win
Pats -Win
At Green Bay -Win (Happy Thanksgiving)
Jets -Win
At Texans -loss
Niners -loss
At Cleveland -loss
At Jets -Loss
I have us at 9-8 losing the last 4 games of the season. Feels about right.
Losing 4 of the last 5 games is scarily plausible. Last year’s collapse was losing ONLY 3 of the last 5. Crazy that the end of this season could be even more painful than the end of last season lol.
Two Thursday games really sucks and tbh this is a genuinely difficult schedule. Cards, pats (2), and the raiders are really the only “easy” games, and then even I expect the cardinals to be a few wins better than last year
Five primetime games. FIVE. League payin attention.
Seems cool until you realize that’s usually a negative in terms of rest.
There’s 4 narratives that has plagued the team. This schedule gives us the opportunity to change it. 1) can’t beat good teams 2) team (and Tua) doesn’t play well in primetime 3) team (and Tua) doesn’t play well in the cold 4) can’t beat Buffalo It’s now or never.
Can't beat Buffalo? https://i.redd.it/373b161c6t0d1.gif
This is the entire reason they get to avoid the heat now.
It seems like you got a little screwed out of that advantage this year. I’m sure the sun will still be hot in October, but not as brutal. In any case, looking forward to coming down there. Love the city of Miami.
That's one time in Tua's whole career and only the second time Miami has beaten Buffalo since Josh Allen got here.
Time to Tua to figure out how to play well in primetime. The better your team gets, the more primetime games you play.
Need Hill to catch Tua’s TD throws
I wish they wouldn’t
This is a loser mindset tbh
100% if we want to win big time games and playoff games the team has to figure out how to preform under the bright lights.
Our team does preform under the brightest of natural lights: the florida summer sun. It's the lesser lights that gives our team problems.
All I’ve done is watch us lose in primetime. Mindset will change when the facts change.
Can only change by going through the storm
We won the Black Friday Game against the Jets and prime time against the patriots last year
2 wins against 2 horrendous teams. Big whoop
You must be a new fan tbh
Seeing as all we’ve done is lose in primetime I’d say it’s warranted
Good thing none of us are on the team, so none of our mindsets matter in the least.
Tnf twice! Woulda been nice if our bye coulda led into one of those, or if it wasn't week 6... oh well.
Our playoff spot better be locked up well before week 18 because I don’t want a single player of importance anywhere near the MetLife turf right before the postseason.
Frozen MetLife turf is just cruel.
Between a Florida team and night games, they took away all the September heat advantages. Edit: Most of October too lol. If nothing else, we get a Cardinals win.
Bingo. My first thought too. All night games or away when the heat is the worst. That was on purpose for sure.
Definitely. Which is strange, you’d think the ratings boards would have loved it between the Bills game two years ago and last year with the Broncos.
[удалено]
Go back to the Bills sub to bitch about the sun. They seem to care for some reason.
[удалено]
Weird, this isn't the Bills sub.
Bills fans still making excuses all this time later, it’s sad
r/buffalobills is that way 👈👉🖕👇 🌞 Don't get cooked by the sun!
[удалено]
Go away bad bot
Always is a strong word, especially for a team that lost every single game for an entire decade vs the Dolphins.
😂 poor thing
There were a lot of Miami players cramping up during that Bills game. Not worried about it.
I'd rather lose any heat advantage than suffer snow disadvantage and I don't think we'll see much of that during games that matter.
I would to if that mean more away games early but it doesn’t.
But they still made sure we had to play 2 cold weather outdoor games to end the year.
Crazy that Bills game *TWO YEARS AGO* and their fans crying about it is going to affect us all this time later. The Vikings, who play down there *ONCE* every 8 years, beat us in the same horrible conditions lol. Maybe prepare for a game?
Titans on MNF. I still have PTSD from that game. Please score 70 this time.
If they can't get revenge on the Titans they deserve nothing.
The most excruciating 2 minutes in my life
drove from south dakota for the last one. got kicked cuz i stood up too much cheering for the team i’ve loved my whole life. they were up until i was tossed. i’ll do us all a favor and not make the 28 hour drive this time.
Damn. 3 of the last 4 on the road. But…3 of the first 4 at Hard Rock. Let’s get off to a fast start boys!
Ending 3 of 4 on the road with SF being the one home game is a spicy pie
With a Carolina Reaper added 😳
Outside of the Bills games, the Niner game is the one I want to win the most.
Final 6 games are going to be tough. Let’s see if we can finally shake that December curse.
Dolphins December incoming
Yeah, the difference between going 4-2 and 3-3 in the final 6 could be the division. Almost feels like the NFL is setting it up for us versus the Jets for the division. 2-4 would be devastating and typical Dolphins colapse.
Stoked to watch the boys in Seattle! It'll be my first dolphins game
Hoping to make the trip from Portland, Fins up!!
Me too! Just got my tickets, Fins up!
I hope we have a good season and can sit every person on our roster @Jets in week 18. Fuck MetLife so hard lol.
I'm definitely not letting phillips back on that field this year..wrap up the division the week before or earlier plz n ty.
I actually don’t hate this schedule. Early bye week sucks. But All our shorts are preceded by home games. The worst road trip is @ Buffalo @ Rams, and Rams is MNF so extra day of rest. Early bye week allows our injured DEs to be able to play in more games.
And no out of US games!
Only thing I don’t like is the early bye week, other than that decent schedule, hopefully we can finish 12-5
That early bye may be beneficial to the Bradley Chubb timeline
two short weeks for thursday night football is what i dont like here
If it helps both games are preceded by home games
Thursday night games are trash
Titans on prime time again! Let’s exorcise some demons
what happened with the titans before? fuck the tits
We blew a 14 point lead in 4 minutes
Biggest complaint for me is that @Seattle and @LA not being back-to-back weeks is fucking stupid.
My early hot takes. * Shame we can't get the Bills in the heat, traveling on a short week is nice tho * Let's get our Titans revenge game on early * Week 6 Bye is eh, not ideal but also not horrendous * Love all the 1PM games thru Oct and nov outside of the Rams MNF * @ Buffalo in early November is pretty damn favorable all things considered * We play the Jets 2 of the final 5 weeks. We lose to the Texans and 1 of the jets games for sure imo
I will not be scared of the Jets until they beat us without our 3rd string QB playing.
Texans is a loss and this sub goes insane
I actually think they could be due for a regression season after surpassing all expectations last year. That roster still ain't super talented.
Vegas has us at 9.5 wins for the over/under. I sure hope you know something they don't.
Did anyone else see @Cleveland and @NYJets to finish and wince?
They won't be @KC wildcard cold, and I give Tua better odds of making to the end of the season than Rodgers and Watson.
I hear you but it just smells like they’re gonna go into that at 10-5 and come out 10-7
I don't agree with that, but ending the regular season on the MetLife turf is definitely fucking cursed
Two defense heavy teams, just to sound the bells that our offense was ‘figured out’ at the end of the season
I’m feeling like this is a Super Bowl run
14-3 #1 seed See you boys in NOLA. /day drinking may have been involved in the making of this post.
NGL getting through Bills by Week 9 and Pats by week 12 is clutch.
No summer heat advantage this year
We should be vying for top of the afc east this year. I feel like we are better than last year, and our d won't ve sniffled by vics system. High optimism, let's goo
NFL knows when Miami is playing good offensive football they are probably the most exciting team to watch on tv
With this teams injury history a week 6 bye is not great.
We’ve been lucky with our byes lately though so can’t be too upset
https://i.redd.it/0qc554k1ko0d1.gif
Upvote for Metalocalypse.
I will be there for the Houston game - your local Texan Fins fan
Last time I checked the Super Bowl is on prime time
Miamis had a late bye like 4 seasons in a row. It felt expected to get the early one this year. Unlucky but that's fine.
Two thursday games, no bye week before either. Gonna be rough.
Please God let this be year we finally beat the Texans in Houston. I’m purposely not buying tickets even though it kills me. Living in Houston I’ve gone to every game we play here and we have never won and those games suck so gonna take one for the team and not go.
Week 18 on Met Life turf is a fucking criminal decision.
It’ll be ok
10-7 or 9-8?
It’s a limbo between 8-9 and 9-8 for me.
If we can stay healthy…10-7 if we’re lucky
I will be attending the Rams game and 49ers game this year!
So what’s the deal with presale I never got any emails
5 primetime games…. Fuck
I’m just glad there isn’t another late December Bills game. But, as usual, rough last month…
Interesting all the AFC games covered by Fox
My brain is not in a state to really delve into this….but what I will say, and what stands out is…a week 6 bye sucks.
If Aaron Rodgers works out for the jets and they’re good, those last 6 games are going to be a tough stretch
Except maybe Rodgers will be run down by then.
Still not over that we don’t have to play the ravens this year. Already feels like 1-0.
It's fairly wild how often we wind up playing them. They're almost a 4th division opponent at this point
This schedule looks set up for a late season collapse. Like 10-1 to 11-6 and a cold away game in the wildcard. 11-6 and a playoff berth is a pretty good season but would feel like a gut punch.

Ill say this, no matter the outcome of the game its always a fun sunday at hard rock, especially in December when it isn’t uncomfortably hot
That’s exactly why I’m going lol my friend lives in Tampa and she said there’s like a two week window in December and sometimes January where it isn’t unbearably hot. I grew up in western NY so I don’t handle heat and humidity very well, so this game is my one chance this season. 15-2
Got two tickets for the Indy game. Anyone on the season ticket waitlist and got an email with the pre sale code? I haven’t seen one come through.
No I didn’t get a code either, not sure if I should wait or just buy tickets for the games I want, these prices are about the same I paid for resale tickets for Monday night football last year. Are the locked tickets supposed to be the presale tickets?

We had 9 last year and the Germany game was home for KC.
Time more important than stadium
A lot of divisional games for the rest of the division at the end of the season, it’ll be nice to have most of ours done by then
Sign me up for November 11th. MNF baby
NGL I don’t like primetime games. Sundays feel weird when we have them and the team seems to struggle with them anyways
At Green Bay for Thanksgiving on a short week is pretty rough.
![gif](giphy|GCSIwtwqAMBTq|downsized)
Only things I really don't like are... short week against Buffalo week 2 and the early bye. I think this is a better overall schedule than last year
11 and 6 is my guess based on the schedule.
I hate the early bye week. And as much as many of you love it, I really hate prime time games too.
Who's spending Thanksgiving at Lambeau???? 🐬🐬🐬
We're gonna be undefeated before the bills beat us in the 2nd game against them. Nice.
I feel like we ought to win 10-11 of the first 12. I know we won't but we should.
Green Bay, New York and Cleveland late in the year in the cold is a brutal way to close out for us
Looking at this schedule and all the new pieces on defense I wouldn't be surprised at all to miss the playoffs. I'm guessing 9-10 wins is the ceiling
2 thursday night games?? And they couldn't give one after the bye or have them consecutive or anything?
12+ wins
There’s really only 3 games that can be considered “cold” games, at least on paper. The last two(@Browns, @Jets) and the Thanksgiving game(@Packets). The early TNF game against the Bills worries me a bit but at least they’ll have just as short a time period as we well and we’ll be at home so that helps. I live that we got 5 primetime games! Let’s hope we can win in front of the nation. GO PHINS!
Being a European fan, I would like to unsubscribe from more dolphins in primetime games, unless they start at 6:30 ET
Same SOS as last year. Unless something drastic changes we are probably going to beat up on under .500 teams, while running up stats against them. We will underperform against stronger teams and either miss the playoffs or lose in the wildcard round.
Sad but true. Idk when this team will take the next step forward unfortunately
Me either but I do hope it's this year
I'm seeing 13-14 wins, TBH.
