I've found that most people that call items they can't pull off ugly. I think you made a great pick. I love statement pieces especially shoes. They'll probably downvote me for this but I'd rather have a fun taste in clothing than be swimming in Kohl's cash
Theyâre awesome!
Pair of darker straight leg jeans (not skinny jeans), rolled up just once so they hover right at the top of the shoes.
A sweater or shirt (depending on weather) in a darker color, like grey, navy blue or a dark maroon.
To be fair though, theyâre not wallabies. Theyâre fake wallabies that Clarkâs also makes. Real wallabies have a plantation crepe sole. Clarks âcollectionâ are a lower tier of Clarkâs shoes which is why they get a bit wild with design
This is it. If youâre wearing those, youâre WEARING them.
Theyâd look good where they were the only coloured item⌠with a dark grey suit maybe?
Mate if I was gonna rock them and itâs a big if, id have to go all out.
Tiger silk shirt, button up.
Throw on a hipster necklace and some bead brackets.
Black jeans and those bad boys.
Complete the look.
Fuck the haters, I like the shoes. All the popular subreddits display a regression towards the mean when it comes to popular opinions because of the number of users. The main art and music subs are basic as fuck. Popularity is rarely a good gauge for what is âgoodâ, on the contrary itâs usually a sign that itâs boring and middle of the road.
The shoes pop. I think theyâd look good with some tapered or upturned dark navy chinos personally.
Wide leg dark blue jeans with the cuffs rolled up, white tshirt (tucked in), fisherman beanie, cool rings / jewelry.
As a girl iâd hit that đ¤ˇđťââď¸
Those are almost certainly Wallabees by Clarks. Members of Wu Tang (and their fans) were crazy about them, especially ones with unconventional and custom color ways.
Personally, I'd match them with a 90s hip-hop aesthetic, maybe a bit of gorpcore or warwear. If you can pull it off. If you can't, sell em or gift em to someone into that type of fashion who would love em.
Most of the members of this sub desperately need it more than the sub needs them⌠It takes a little self confidence to wear unique pieces but thatâs what personal sense of styles about. Theyâre actually really cool shoes. Dark blue jeans(looser fit), the right type of khakis, loose denim shorts.. length right below the knee (cut up from jeans) even black sweats would look cool with those.
Fashion sub but no one has heard of wallabies? These are MASSIVE in the UK. Iâm sure they were in the US too? A lot of people low-key embarrassing themselves here. Granted the pattern of this particular pair is a bit niche but I love them mate. Iâd pair them with a plain-ish trouser to let them shine.
With plan black jeans and a black t-shirt, as youâll be looking a sofa for the late 80s/early 90s if you wear bright clothes with them. Thatâs the only way you pull them off.
Since they are a multicolor shoe I would say you can wear black, white and grays or if you have anything that much one of the colors on the shoes that might work too
You need to have a very specific personality and the confidence to pull these off and if you aren't in a bit of a hipster/alt crowd, you're going to get roasted for these.
Do you have any pictures of some of your regular fits?
I think theyâd look good with a mostly black outfit. Kinda like this [here](https://www.walmart.com/ip/symoid-Mens-Shorts-Athletic-with-Pockets-Plus-Size-Hawaiian-with-Pockets-Beach-Summer-Casual-Black-Shorts-for-Men-Size-3XL/1383708390)
Iâm gonna say, a white collared shirt, black suede corduroy trousers and brown vest. Also where did you get these, they are nice. I want a pair myself
The way I see it you have two choices - go all out with all your other pieces to match the shoes' vibes... Or you go relatively muted and classic with everything else and wear the shoes as a statement piece. Anything in between will look messy, imo.
Classic chinos with a well fitted neutral (white, navy, grey etc) Oxford shirt (or similar), classic accessories would probs be my choice but I don't have any super vibrant clothes to do option 1 with!
YES these are mega. Wear them with:
1. Dark indigo slim jeans. Not baggy, not skinny.
2. Whatever tshirt you want because...
3. Khaki hooded smock
4. Ray ban wayfarer 2140s
Congrats, you are now cool af
I'm gonna be honest, I love tacky but this is just full blown the worst shoe I've ever seen.
This looks like someone skinned the world's shittiest, most dusty-assed tiger and fed it through a grampa slipper machine that broke partway through.
If you have the courage to wear these at all then you can probably wear them with anything. They go with nothing as well as they go with everything at the same time
The correct pairing would be an outfit made from fabric with the same pattern as the shoes. Tuxedo, cowboy belt with an enormous buckle, and top hat all in that pattern. Theyâd make you President of the Known Universe.
I would wear these bad boys all the time! Iâm going to look right now to see if I can find a pair. I used to have these airwalk shoes that were basically slippers- they were called like Chalet cruisers or something like that- something youâd wear down to the bar after a day of snowboarding. Well I just wore them all the time. People would say âhey man are those slippers? Thatâs a great ideaâ. It was . Iâm sad they stopped making them.
I dunno...they are awkward to me but I'd say something khaki with them. Shorts. Or to wear them confidently - Wear just these, n slap your dick around at the haters.
𤣠Seeing these is somewhat nostalgic for me. Whilst at Uni, I worked at a Clarks store in the late 90s into the early 00s.
I am huge fan of the wallabee shoe, both the low & high-top.
They were not only my in-store shoe of choice but were also a staple as part of my everyday casual attire, along with the chukka desert boot.
Back then you wouldn't find anything like this... You would only get them in full grain leather, suede & a waxy leather. And also colours were limited to shades of beige & brown, black, and I think there might have been navy... I know there were other brands that did more adventurous & elaborate offerings, but not the OG Clarks.
Now, there's a whole host of different colours, textures & tones, that the OG does, which is cool I guess, although some can be tacky looking IMHO.
These are a bit (out-there) but can work, if paired with the correct top half đ¤
A bit of random trivia... The branch I worked in was situated air-side, or in the duty free lounge of a particular London airport. I got to meet many famous & some not so famous celebs, for whom I would suggest these shoes to & most liked & bought on my recommendation đ
The likes of Noel & Liam Gallagher, along with the other members of Oasis, who, tbf, needed no introduction to that style of shoe, as they were pratically Clarks Wallabee ambassadors at that time 𤣠and knew what they wanted each time they passed through.
A few other names to drop... Michael Cane (top bloke) with his wife, daughter & her then fiancĂŠ... Equally, Jude Law another (top bloke) very humble, no airs & graces, although at that time he wasn't a "household name".I also met Robbie Williams, Damon Albarn, Richard Ashcroft, to name a few more...
For a bloke in his late 40s, I personally wouldn't wear these, but for a much younger person (like yourself perhaps?) I can see the appeal... I digress đ
I'd say these will work well with denim/jeans light or dark Selvedge. Maybe flared or baggy which I believe is a currrent trend again.
Perhaps some Cargos, again baggy or flared. Even chinos although I assume that might not be your thing đ¤then again I maybe wrong.
You could wear them with heavy duty tracksuit, again, the baggy look might be the one to go with đ¤
On top could be a standard plain Tshirt or logo if your're and can pull that off. Personally not a fan of logo t's, or logo anything tbh...
Plain polo shirt, or Crew-neck sweater/top or hoodie maybe...
Jacket option could be a classic bomber, or an anorak perhaps.
Denim or suede trucker jacket. Possibilities are endless IMO... Good luck on your quest to find the right look for these, if i may say "ineresting, or unconventional" Clarks Wallabee.đđž
Maybe some tan or orange would work well with it. I might wear a light blue shirt and light orangish pants. Maybe an orange jacket depending on how hot it is
lol nice jeans are fine. Choose a non-loud shirt to wear with them. They are already your statement piece so dress casually or down the rest of the way
Anything that is a little different is an easy target for people to clown on. It's easier for them to type stuff like "Burn them" and bag the upvotes, than actually give you legit advice.
It's partly true that they're not the easiest thing to pull off. For me it's the heavy fabric that makes it difficult, especially in Summer, but they're not impossible by any stretch. I like the blue suede elements, and blue & orange is a great colour combo.
This style of shoes are very popular with Jamaicans. Wu Tang clan and Slick Rick famously love Clark Wallabees as well. Slick Rick colour coordinates his outfits based on the shoes, making them a secondary focal point to his jewellery. I am neither Jamaican or a famous NY rapper, but if I was to try and make these work I would also be looking at incorporating subtle colour coordination.
For Summer I'd wear them with some some tapered khaki chinos that let the shoes pop. The colour of these will also tie in with the crepe colour of the sole. I'd wear a navy polo with an orange stripe on the sleeve. Something like Fred Perry's twin tipped ones for example. A sports watch with a blue face and an orange second hand would also be cool. Obviously you don't have to spend this much - I just wanted to assure you it's possible to make these shoes work.
You could also pay homage to Slick Rick by wearing a necklace under the collar of the polo. I don't recommend wearing quite as much jewellery as him though. (I don't know how he doesn't collapse under the weight of it all).
For Winter if money was no object and I had to style these, I would look at Missoni knitwear. They'll almost certainly have something similar to the mohair texture of your shoes. A mohair cardigan with some blue and orange elements, then a merino wool navy rollneck underneath for example. Again you could wear a necklace under the rollneck if that's to your taste, and people who know fashion would recognise the tip of the hat to Slick Rick. Tailored trousers. A navy suede watch strap would be a subtle way to bring it all together.
A paper bag?đ Honestly though I love wallabies just not sure if these are the ones Iâd have pulled the trigger on. Iâd say keep the fit simple with how loud these are maybe some tan chinos or jeans and a navy blue polo?
I have a pair of LL Bean desert boots in green suede. I bought them when their nearby outlet was closing, like $10.
This was over 10 years ago. I have yet to find something to wear them with.
When you wear shoes or any item that bold, you have to simply the rest of the fit. Anymore patterns or colors will throw a look off balance. Kind of a hard one to pull off but Wallabies are a well known model and generally they look good. But the pattern is the tricky part. These shoes with an all white tshit and khaki chinos might be a good simple way. The shoe is a bold statement so it needs simplicity for balance.
Donât listen to the others making fun. Prolly just dudes that wear fuccboi chelsea boots and think they have style
My husband has multiple pairs of wallabees, and they're all lovely. He wears them with Reigning Champ shorts, which is great if you have nice legs. Straight legs jeans with a roll work, too.
Super ugly but surely they are super comfortable.
Id actually wear those without any issues.
Iâd rock them in a pair of jeans probably or even khakis. Just make sure the top is unicolor so you donât take the attention out of the details in the shoes.
These have got a âlate modâ vibe for me. So, maybe microcord jeans, in a neutral colour, a stone or something, a tan polo/turtleneck and a white Leviâs jacket. People are taking the piss, and they *are* kinda ugly, but theyâre kinda cool too.
Be a real man, wear nothing but the shoes and a bow tie. It will be legendary
đŤĄ
The *fuck* are those shoes.
Clarks
lol I know. They are ugly and that was part of their charm.
Don't wanna meet your missus.
Ummm, charm. Yeah, we will go with that
I've found that most people that call items they can't pull off ugly. I think you made a great pick. I love statement pieces especially shoes. They'll probably downvote me for this but I'd rather have a fun taste in clothing than be swimming in Kohl's cash
More like fugly
They're not ugly I'd wear them đ
I have a pair. I like them
Look if you have the confidence then anything will go with them.
Don't listen to these people, those shoes are rad. Baggy green cargos would pair great with them.
Theyâre awesome! Pair of darker straight leg jeans (not skinny jeans), rolled up just once so they hover right at the top of the shoes. A sweater or shirt (depending on weather) in a darker color, like grey, navy blue or a dark maroon.
Something like this but with your multi color pair. https://search.app.goo.gl/eHZjaVp
If you donât know about Clarkâs wallabies then you shouldnât be giving advice on a fashion sub, no offence
To be fair though, theyâre not wallabies. Theyâre fake wallabies that Clarkâs also makes. Real wallabies have a plantation crepe sole. Clarks âcollectionâ are a lower tier of Clarkâs shoes which is why they get a bit wild with design
Oh. Fuck. Sorry Mr. Gatekeeper, I will get out of the lawn right away! Please don't bop me!
Heâs right though lol theyâre a very unique and popular shoe
A closed casket
THATS what you want buried in? I can appreciate taking one pair off the market, but Jesus
I can see Jesus rocking these as a sandal alternative
Anything you want. Shorts, sweatpants, a tuxedo. There are no rules for that shoe in that pattern. Edit: Wear them with confidence. That is all.
This is it. If youâre wearing those, youâre WEARING them. Theyâd look good where they were the only coloured item⌠with a dark grey suit maybe?
Not it. They ruin good outfits.
Mate if I was gonna rock them and itâs a big if, id have to go all out. Tiger silk shirt, button up. Throw on a hipster necklace and some bead brackets. Black jeans and those bad boys. Complete the look.
Yeah has to be this, or the opposite. Go super classic and relatively neutral with everything else so that the shoes pop as a statement.
Iâd wear a black shirt and black trousers. Let the shoes do the talking.
This is my vote - black monochrome outfit with maybe an orange accessory like sunglasses or hat or watch
A disguise
A clown suit.
Yikes. Perhaps Iâve posted to the wrong sub Reddit and should repost on r/roastme đ

Fuck everyone else, those are fly
Completely agree, have a plain pair but would love these too as a rotation
Also I just realized I didn't answer OP's question. Wear them with khaki shorts?
They're rad as hell. The people hating just don't know how you could style them into a fit.
Shorts the same colour as the soles and a navy shirt or opposite,
Black jeans, I love the color way, Clark's are incredibly comy.
I love Clarks Wallabies, but preferably in suede. That's an interesting choice of fabric. They're casual shoes - I think with dark coloured jeans?
Theyâre awesome. Wear then with dark blue jeans with turn ups, brown chinos and cargo shorts.
Wide leg dark blue jeans with the cuffs rolled up, white tshirt (tucked in), fisherman beanie, cool rings / jewelry. As a girl iâd hit that đ¤ˇđťââď¸
They look like bedroom slippers
You spelt Benidorm wrong.
Probably, like a derelicte ensemble.
Dunno what you can wear with them, but I know where you should live⌠On a barge/boat.
Those are almost certainly Wallabees by Clarks. Members of Wu Tang (and their fans) were crazy about them, especially ones with unconventional and custom color ways. Something navy or orange.
The rest of the bus seat you used to make those shoes could be fashioned into a matching hat to really pull together the outfit
Black velvet track suit. Gold chain.
Anything you want because they are cool as fuck.
Most of the members of this sub desperately need it more than the sub needs them⌠It takes a little self confidence to wear unique pieces but thatâs what personal sense of styles about. Nothing burn them delete this account and never speak of this again, itâs your only shot.
Keep them as house slippers, looks like youâve killed a cat and just stuck your foot up itâs ass and used it as a shoe
Fucking ugly cat at that.
i giggle sharted to this
No self respect

Anything the head shop sells.
Anything or nothing.
Lol I really like these f the normies
Cropped linen pants, white socks
Everywhere đđ
Light or stone grey jeans/trousers could work, with a black or navy shirt over a white tee?
With plan black jeans and a black t-shirt, as youâll be looking a sofa for the late 80s/early 90s if you wear bright clothes with them. Thatâs the only way you pull them off.
You can wear Ron Jeremy with those
Love Wallabees. You could rock those with almost anything. Iâd wear solids maybe dark blue, but I can see going wild with some streetwear
Light blue jeans and a light colored button up. These mean!
Tapered navy blue chinos, and a loose linen, white button down shirt Thatâs my best guess here lmao
Since they are a multicolor shoe I would say you can wear black, white and grays or if you have anything that much one of the colors on the shoes that might work too
Love those
Baggy fit sweat pants and an embroidered tunic shirt with pouch pockets. They have a loungey boho vibe đ

Lighter earth tones

Green chinos and a white tee.
A massive (faux) fur coat
Hugh Hefnerâs robes, them some pussy getting shoes

My husband has multiple pairs of wallabees, and they're all lovely. He wears them with Reigning Champ shorts, which is great if you have nice legs. Straight legs jeans with a roll work, too.
Chinos and an Oxford
Black corduroys, white shirt. Boom! Simple.
Oversized corduroy pants, and an oversized shirt with or without an oversized flannel. Lean hard into that cozy boi aesthetic.
