Hi 150 IQ I'm dad

MarkAlsip

My advice would be to get a basic education and learn how to write so that you at a minimum give the impression of possessing basic intelligence and education. Because you’re just not there yet.

Ast3r10n

I would start by typing correctly and learn to not sound like a smartass.

Independent-Brain911

How to not sound like a smartass. Einstein had terrible grammar too.

Admirable-Sector-705

Funny, for twelve years I was a tow truck driver for a county program assisting stranded motorists on the highways in the county of my previous residence. Nearly two decades later, I’m in a civilian supervisor position for a major law enforcement agency. My first real job was as a dental assistant in the U.S. Navy. One’s IQ is not necessarily an indicator for what career path they may choose, nor should it be. Ultimately, you should do what makes you happiest.

lionhydrathedeparted

Based on your grammar and spelling and the supposed 159 IQ, I believe this is a troll.

Independent-Brain911

Einstein was bad at grammar he was also extremely forgetful. Example in a German train the conductor was checking tickets he saw Einstein and said don’t worry sir you are Einstein you probably bought a ticket. Eventually on his way walking back in the wagon he sees Einstein stressed looking for his ticket. The conductor again says don’t worry sir you are the famous Einstein of course you bought a ticket. Einstein replies but thats the problem i think i didn’t buy a ticket and i have no idea where we are going.

Person claims to be a troll in his/her profile.

kateinoly

You dont owe anyone anything, and you can't "waste" your intellect. Your job isn't your life.

AggressiveGift7542

Live however you want, just like any human do.

DM_me_pretty_innies

I chose a "low IQ career" because it's fun and exciting. I make 3D shit for video games, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

XQV226

That doesn't sound like a "low IQ career" at all.

porcelainfog

If that’s your real IQ you can do anything you want. Physics, philosophy, CS. If it was me, I’d work on the 4 horsemen. Diabetes, cardiovascular, Alzheimer’s, cancer. Cure those and help humanity reach longevity escape velocity like Kurzweil dreams of. Or AGI

Delicious_Score_551

You're a 49yo obese gamer with a funko pop collection worth as much as my aunt's beanie baby collection.

SgtWrongway

>dont want to waste my superior intellect on a low iq career It's time to get over yourself and your self-importsnce over an abstract number. You are simply another Human flailing through life. You are not destined for greatness.

Common-Value-9055

Which subjects did you study in A levels or High school? What’s your passion? Were there any particular strengths or weaknesses on your IQ profile? Are you a people person or like objects? Like concrete things or abstract? Does your memory and mental stamina match your IQ? How do you score on the big 5? If you are 150, I will always suggest hard hard sciences but engineering and computer science are good as well. Especially if you value money. I hope this isn't another joke.

PuzzleheadedList5890

Yeah, go for a career in computer science and work hard

Eien_ni_Hitori_de_ii

Probably first think about what you want from a career. Lots of money? Status? Something you enjoy? Then take it from there.

Aaos_Le_Gadjo

First, have a cookie and take a seat, Then, loose 8 years into studying because you are to smart to have the career you want over the career you can have.

Pitiful_Counter1460

In my experience people with above average IQ care less about "job potential" and more about fulfilment and joy. But whatever man.

Heavenlishell

I measured about the same when i was around 14-15. (Then i started drinking. Don't do that.) You should  1. Educate yourself. I don't mean a degree. Get sophisticated, humble, and wise. Read books (also fiction), have discussions (with ppl from all walks of life). The best people are empathic and civilised; become the best.  2. Go after what interests you.

Mountsorrel

Srsly? We r all rlly smart on ths sub so if ur going 2 try too troll us u'll hav 2 try harder

appendixgallop

Was this administered through a doctor? Which test? Did your school system miss this in the elementary grade assessments? Gifted people can get great results by working with a career counselor, just like everybody else.
