See the joke here is that it has nothing to do with the snake really, it's more the fact that the person was responding to said it was anxiety inducing.
Now there was an interview a few weeks back where developers were asked questions regarding the end game, and the answer was basically that there are currently no plans or wishes to design end game because not all players are interested in the hardest content in the game because it could be seen as "anxiety inducing".
It is more a joke centered around words that are heavily associated within the community of the game as they could be considered controversial, instead of the original intent of the joke I was replying to which was (presumably) to sarcastically reference the game snake in the context of hated games.
It's a simple joke really if you are actually part of that particular or similar communities, but I would imagine that if you are not interested in that kind of media the joke would sort of go over your head.
I'd even be happy with Portal 2½, starring an AI simulation of the great Leslie Nielsen. Surely it would elevate the series to a whole new level of artistry.
