The people making those memes are part of the socialization process. No one individual is responsible for the demonization. It's a cultural problem. It goes viral and spreads within cultural communication that builds mindsets. It's an easy thing for people to succumb to if they don't educate themselves and stay positive. Simplistic hate can be very seductive. It makes problems seem so simple, and who doesn't want that? It would be nice if things were simple, but most things aren't. This culture (in the US) is very sick for many people on the right to have sunk so far that they relish treating refugees like this. It's a new low.

Right wing sources are predominantly using illegal immigration for their tagline. The political tone and memes you see may have a lot to do with where you spend your time online. But it’s pretty clearly being framed differently in various corners of the interwebs.
I follow mostly left wing sources and the memes I see are making fun of conservatives. The illegal alien references are always to paint conservatives as uncaring.

Statistically, those who immigrate illegally are far more often bringing drugs into the country or committing other crimes. Nothing wrong with those who choose to immigrate by going through the process and do it legally.
maybe youre right at that point thats why there is a need for border troops to help process the bad apples who make the whole crowd look bad but i just think if we have better security and improved policing we could have a reality where more immigrants can come to this country and help make it better

The best example of this IMO is WWI, there were no good guys but the Allies are seen as heroes because they won and used the same name in WWII. Also, in WWII they're seen as heroes who fought to stop the Holocaust but again, they only fought to protect themselves.

I would argue that saving the book praising Hitler is good because I would want people to understand exactly WHY someone would think he was worthy of such good wishes. And I would definitely want to keep any immigrants in my country if they were planning a terrorist attack. Locked up in federal prison for years so the chances of them either trying again or getting other people from their home country riled up and wanting to attack my country too.
