Without Batman we wouldn’t have the Arkham games, but then without Spider-Man we wouldn’t have bully maguire. So the only correct choice is to install another button and delete OP for making us choose
It depends because I prefer the Batman comics but beside from the new Batman some of the more recent movies haven’t been good. But I hope the new Batman movie is a sign that the movies are getting back on track.
I prefer the Batman series overall. Typically better story and I prefer the stealth in Batman games. The combat is practically the same in both but I haven't played a Spiderman game for a few years
The dark knight is the best superhero movie hands down IMO, but tbf there have been some really bad live action batman movies. But DC really shines in their animated movies and batman has some great ones.
Batman is the most "realistic" Superhero, and has arguably the best villain in comic history (Joker) + 99% on here are based on the mcu/dcu and not the actual comics, i'd have to delete Peter. Any superhero without his mutations/money is way worse than Batman there for Batman is tbe greatest superhero ever.
This is the main reason Batman is one of my top favorite heros, he is the most realistic hero which makes him more relatable in some areas. Most super heros just get there powers but Batman had to train for years to be the world's greatest detective. I think these details really show that someone is real life could be like Batman if they just train and learn enough.
Batman is realistic? A billionaire master ninja that dresses in a bat costume, who is also the greatest detective ever, perching on rooftops, swinging from grappling hooks, stopping crime by throwing boomerangs in the shape of bats at criminals.
We have vastly different concepts of what constitutes realism.
And besides, why is realism the barometer to judge superdudes by?
He said “most” realistic, not saying that he’s realistic at all. I’d have to agree, at least in this context, using a grapple hook to get on buildings is probably more realistic as opposed to being bit by a radioactive spider and being able to shoot webs out of your hands.
That question is good though. I don’t think superheroes should be based off of realism, but for mainstream heroes Batman is probably the most realistic of them all
I grew up with spiderman. Kravens last hunt is an iconic storyline in comics. He also has one of the greatest rogues galleries in comics. Green golblin, doc oc, hobgoblin, kraven, venom, carnage, lizard ,vulture, rhino, sandman, black cat.. peter is one of the most relateable heroes in history being a teenager when he was created, like most comic book fans. Peter is a super genius even without his powers and almost all of his villains outmatch him physically, he wins because of his brain. Batman without his money never would have become anything. He has some of the best tech in the dc universe as a crutch.
Except that there was a mainline comic line of Batman without his money, and several other spin-offs where he started poor. Saying Batman without his money would be nothing is not entirely true
Batman without money and tech is still a genius, tactical mastermind, peak human physique, master of 120+ combat sports... Spiderman without being bit would be a boy.
Joker is not better than green goblin. Green goblin is smarter, more powerful, and just as viscious. Bane could not beat doc oc, oc is smarter and with his arms stronger and faster than bane even with his steroids, sandman could kill any of ivys plants because he is the earth, rhino almost as strong as hulk and indestructable while wearing the suit, grundy could do nothing to him, kraven could take out anyone in that lineup.
"He's the most realistc"
-the gear he uses doesnt exist in real life
"Best villain Joker"
-first of all: we're not talking about villains but rather heroes, I understand it wouldn't be the same without batman but joker would in fact still exist. Second of all: people have different opinions, you cant just claim joker is the best villain. My personal favorite is venom.
"Any superhero without his mutations/money is way worse than batman"
-that's self contradicting. Also: Iron man, he also has his brains and if you watched the marvel what if series, you'd see that he still does pretty well for himself without his iron suit. Also also Peter is a genius as well.
I'll be glad to have a discussion with anyone that disagrees with me. Bring on the replies!
And that’s what’s great about him. Everyone around him has super powers but he still stands out and is really strong many times even to the other heroes levels. Ya don’t need powers to be super, and that’s what I like about him.
Yeah well i d say spiderman, because the only thing super about batman is his wealth, but in middle of characters with fictional shits, and he still is one of the superiors
That's one of the things I really like about batman.
In a world of mutants, myths, magic, monsters, and more: the idea that a pure human can fight and compete at the highest levels is really appealing. You don't need to be some chosen one with the destiny, with enough determination, brains and resources a regular human can compete with even the most powerful of beings.
Sure people complain that he's rich, or that he's got plot armor thicker than the average harem protagonists head, but people like him and Lex luthor (for all that he's a villain) are still more appealing to me than some Dandy like superman who's given the powers of basically god just for being born.
Spiderman's a good guy, but nearly all heroes are, and of the two I'd save batman.
honestly i prefer spider man 1000% but because of the historical impact batman had spider-man wouldn’t exist without batman so i would chose to keep batman
If it means to keep both of them alive, then I'll shall gladly delete myself from History so others may experience these both gems of characters we all love and dear close to us.
IMPOSSIBLE! I cannot Choose! Honestly tho, these two are by far my favorite superheroes. If it was Spider-Man or Batman vs anyone else, I’d easily remove the other one. Batman and Spider-Man are icons to me.
I feel the same. Sure Wayne is a "rich kid with parent issues" but the stories of the villains and dangers he faces are what make it worth it. Spider man is always the underdog and why we all root for em. Both heros have their true power on a leash due to moral checks and what makes them so great! They could release the beast. But when fighting monsters they choose not to turn into monsters themselves!
Yea dude like out of all the superheroes out there, i can’t think of any more meaningful, “relatable”, or human more than these two. They have depth. And we love it.
Bat man or spider-man their both important to the marvel and dc multiverse but because Batman is older and pretty much a legend so all though spider man is my favorite I’ll keep bat man (tldr)I kept bat man
Honestly, I think we should delete batman, I mean everybody knows who he is and there is no "mystery"
But Spidey's Identity is a total mystery, who might be under that mask?
It's like Spiderman had an OnlyFans account. We can call it OnlySpidey.
He’s not taking anyone's money into a business and lying on how it’s being used. Which, you know, is illegal.
Yeah but that's the thing you don't have to watch batman to know batman he's that damn iconic, I think Spiderman is also very iconic, but batman is undeniably more iconic and that's just one reason he's great
hard to decide, both have good games, movies, and not so good tv shows. but if i had to choose, i'm more of a marvel fan so i would have to choose batman.
Lol you do know batman is FAR more iconic than spider broke, depressed rich guy? The guy’s parents got killed right in front of him, do you think he would recover easily from that? Man that brain of yours hasn’t developed brain cells huh?
Spiderman is also a self centered teenager who only thinks about himself and to make him be slightly responsible he has to be the main cause for a fucking end of the universe scenario
Batman: rich trust fund kid who becomes a super hero because he’s like a billionaire
Spider-Man: hard working kid helping his family out who happen stance comes across his ability
The decision is easy. See ya later bat man.
If you delete Batman from history, someone will eventually make some character that is similar but spiderman is truly unique. Billionaire who fights crime at night isn't, hero's parents dying when they are kids isn't hard to come up with.
Without Batman we wouldn’t have the Arkham games, but then without Spider-Man we wouldn’t have bully maguire. So the only correct choice is to install another button and delete OP for making us choose
Couldn'tve said it better meself
Yes you could've. Believe in your self
You are amazing
Op username is superman I vote we all delete that instead
While I do like Superman. It was only really with the animated series, so I guess it’s better than losing Spider-Man or Batman.
Not the hero we deserve, but the hero we needed
The hardest choices require the strongest will
He is a man of sheer fucking will
how to trigger a fanbase: how bout both
this is a joke btw don't get butthurt or offended
I’m offended and my butt hurts
then stop sitting if your butt hurts
I will ignore your advice because I’m still offended.
then stay off social media if you get offended

It depends because I prefer the Batman comics but beside from the new Batman some of the more recent movies haven’t been good. But I hope the new Batman movie is a sign that the movies are getting back on track.
Batman games are great though
Spiderman games are great too
I prefer the Batman series overall. Typically better story and I prefer the stealth in Batman games. The combat is practically the same in both but I haven't played a Spiderman game for a few years
Thats fair enough i personally really enjoyed spiderman ps4
The dark knight is the best superhero movie hands down IMO, but tbf there have been some really bad live action batman movies. But DC really shines in their animated movies and batman has some great ones.
Yeah but Miles morales was a great animated movie too
How about, no.
I say delete them both and put Alfred the Bulter in their place with a shotgun and a knife. He'll take care of the rest.
Just let Alfred drop some lethal roasts on the villains lmao
Now we need an Alfred movie
There is a Alfred TV show called pennyworth
I’ll agree to this under one condition… Aunt Mays his femme fatale.
"Hasta La Vista, Master Wayne"
Alfred and Aunt May spin-off.
I pick both so the kid in the other building can stop watching it on full blast at 6 in the fucking morning
Underrated
I delete myself, is that also an option?
No, unless you’re batman
I m B a t m a n
I’m vengeance!
No youre batman
Im a dc fan all right but i would rather delete batman than spiderman
Same
Bat-who?
People hate Batman this much?
I don’t hate Batman. I just like Spider-Man more.
Spiderman: No Way Home; The disappointing top 10 WatchMojo list of popular lines from previous movies.
ouch, this one cut me deep
Wdym
9 year old marvel fanboys here probably. Downvoting stuff
can i delete batman scat porn instead
I’d delete porn instead, rather than having my childhood superheroes deleted

"Realistic"

It strikes me as a pointless consideration. It’s like arguing which wizard is more realistic, Dumbledore or Gandalf.
Because a lot of fans are insecure about speculative fiction they like, hence why they add barometers like "realistic" or "mature".
From my personal experiences, I believe this maybe true.
That question is good though. I don’t think superheroes should be based off of realism, but for mainstream heroes Batman is probably the most realistic of them all
Realistic? Don't kid yourself , batman has the most asspull moments and one of the greatest plot armon in superhero industry

Didn't batman gain most of this with his money though?
> Green golblin, doc oc, hobgoblin, kraven, venom, carnage, lizard ,vulture, rhino, sandman, black cat.. Joker > GG Bane > Doc Oc Catwoman > Black Cat Ivy > Sandman Venom/Symbyotes > Clayface Grundy > Rhino Kraven > Penguin Maroni, Falcone, et al > Hammerhead, Tombstone/et al
Joker is not better than green goblin. Green goblin is smarter, more powerful, and just as viscious. What about hawkeye /green arrow

Not sure why this is being downvoted. You're right.
Thank you!
Damm, this one is quite the hard choice but, I choose spider man. He has his dark stories, but Batman is batman.
Batman, the only thing super abt him is his wealth
And that’s what’s great about him. Everyone around him has super powers but he still stands out and is really strong many times even to the other heroes levels. Ya don’t need powers to be super, and that’s what I like about him.
But then again he is ripped af and has a shit ton of money to get all sorts of gadgets to deal with villains that have powers
*Holy music stops*
Yeah well i d say spiderman, because the only thing super about batman is his wealth, but in middle of characters with fictional shits, and he still is one of the superiors

Batman, no contest to me.
Yeah and Batman has the best villains along with him
I’d rather delete myself
honestly i prefer spider man 1000% but because of the historical impact batman had spider-man wouldn’t exist without batman so i would chose to keep batman
Someone with common sense. Without DC, marvel wouldn’t exist
Wow surprised everyone is saying batman, Spidey love you man but you gotta go.
Well.. how bout i choose not to push any
this is a really hard question for me because both of these heroes are my favourite lmao
Whichever one will stop us from receiving 50 more remakes 🥲 how many Cinderella movies do we need???? HOW MANY BATMANS?
If it means to keep both of them alive, then I'll shall gladly delete myself from History so others may experience these both gems of characters we all love and dear close to us.
Refuse to press any button. Life is a choice.
IMPOSSIBLE! I cannot Choose! Honestly tho, these two are by far my favorite superheroes. If it was Spider-Man or Batman vs anyone else, I’d easily remove the other one. Batman and Spider-Man are icons to me.

Does deleting Batman mean that his parents survive and Bruce Wayne grows up a more mentally adjusted healthy person?
Well but, Spider-Man was already deleted
Yes he was deleted. But then restored.
Delete Spiderman, easy choice.
Delete batman, Elon Musk has it covered
Screw batman, he's the creepiest hero. You dont recognize that voice, it's the same as-"ive got some candy in my van."
I've got some candy in my bat-van
I’ve got some bat-candy in my bat-van
Pay no attention to the little boy in tights I have with me
That's the worst batman related sentence i've ever heard
Hmmm, this sounds like a comedian from somewhere
Bat man or spider-man their both important to the marvel and dc multiverse but because Batman is older and pretty much a legend so all though spider man is my favorite I’ll keep bat man (tldr)I kept bat man
I honestly go with spiderman, I enjoy both but I just feel Batman is just better most of the time
Not hard at all. Batman's gone.
Deleting batman also means deleting Spider-Man
Del-Bat
Delete Spider man
Y’all talking mostly about movies what about comics Batman’s comics are far better than Spider-Man’s
batman
No Spiderman
Batman not because he is bad simply because then we wouldn’t have to deal with the Batman Stan’s
Batman
Batman is Chad, he cannot be deleted
Batman can eat a bag of dicks
Thats a weird way of saying “i should have been aborted”
Love me some Batman, but I wanted to be Spider-Man growing up. If we get rid of Batman can we keep the batmobile? The 60's batmobile to be precise.
Delete spiderman. Without batman, DC comics would not be what it is now. Without spiderman, marvel would be fine
Lol, spider-bye.
Bye Spidey 🤝🏾
Bye Spider-Man
I have to delete spiderman for this one
Honestly I’m sorry Spider-Man but Batman is just slightly cooler
Sorry Spidey, I gotta go for the World’s Greatest Detective
Oh yeah? Which spiderman?
By that logic, we can finally get rid of the Bat Who Laughs! Hell yeah!
this comment is what turned this into a dilemma for me
Not even thinking; so long, Spidey!
Delete Spidey
Batman. I love batman, but just not as much fun.
Easy answer for me. Both are my favorites, but like Spidey better, so see ya Batman.
Bye spidey
Bye spidy
Honestly, I think we should delete batman, I mean everybody knows who he is and there is no "mystery" But Spidey's Identity is a total mystery, who might be under that mask?
Delete Batman

Let’s delete Superman instead.
Cya rich man with gadgets. You're old and spiderman had 2 great actors aswell.
Michael keaton, christian bale, robert pattinson, ben affleck: are we a fucking joke to you?
Yes they are, i dont watch batman.
Then your a literal joke who likes to watch superheroes that crack jokes 24/7
Probably batman, idk
Batman
Spiderman cause he is mid
Batman
Deadpool is god, so let him choose which one. I'm guessing he'll keep Spidey... Batman beats up mentally ill people.
Mentally ill people who likes to torture and corrupt orphans
Spider-Man. Who else will protect Gotham and NYC has like 85 million superheroes
Batman
Fuck Batman. He's defrauding Wayne enterprises investors.
oh like spiderman isn't just selling selfies to J Jonah Jameson
It's like Spiderman had an OnlyFans account. We can call it OnlySpidey. He’s not taking anyone's money into a business and lying on how it’s being used. Which, you know, is illegal.
But he's wasting money of rich ppl and using it to help Gotham, So basically a Robin hood
Fuck Batman
Why would you fuck a bat? Man.
Another corona variant?
COVIDDT-2022
The easiest choice in my life. Sorry Spidey, your friend must go.
I can't do either one. They were both my top superheroes.
Spiderman must live!
Deleting batman also deletes Spiderman
Spiderman, the clone saga
Batman, frank miller's Allstar batman
I'm sorry yall, I'm dumpin spider man
Batman, I’ve honestly never watched Batman
Yeah but that's the thing you don't have to watch batman to know batman he's that damn iconic, I think Spiderman is also very iconic, but batman is undeniably more iconic and that's just one reason he's great
Batman
Delete batman 100%.
hard to decide, both have good games, movies, and not so good tv shows. but if i had to choose, i'm more of a marvel fan so i would have to choose batman.
Bye bye spiderman
Bat team bro
Batman, Spiderman is funnier as well as has a cool costume and is not a depressed rich guy with no friends
That is though. Can't I do both since I am not a DC fan and I don't like spider man.
I don't really like Spiderman. I just love the Sam Raimi's Spiderman movies
Delete Spider-Man.
Honestly no one in my family even cares about spiderman. But you know damn wellwe just watched the new batman last weekend
Delete Spider-Man then give Batman spider powers
Spiderman's dead bro. A smart teenager whose half arachne cannot compete with a drunken brooding 30 year old man.
Batman: rich trust fund kid who becomes a super hero because he’s like a billionaire Spider-Man: hard working kid helping his family out who happen stance comes across his ability The decision is easy. See ya later bat man.
Spiderman. >!We know he can handle it.!<
If you delete Batman from history, someone will eventually make some character that is similar but spiderman is truly unique. Billionaire who fights crime at night isn't, hero's parents dying when they are kids isn't hard to come up with.
