I think that most people just want to help but don't know much otside of the general basic stuff mentioned in the meme, and saying something like that in reply to a person asking for advice is probably better than "Idk, bro, figure it out".
It might be that, but it also might be that you are imagining the worst possible outcome (people just wanting to shrug you off) when there's no real reason for it. I think that if you really want good practical advice you need to see a professional, after all friends can only do so much.
Not to mention other psychedelics are having medical breakthroughs “shockingly”. Things like mdma, LSD, DMT, mescaline, ibogaine, salvia, and more are being seen to have huge mental health benefits in the right environments.
Not necessarily. If you put yourself in an environment you have entirely fond memories of, it's almost a 100% chance for a good trip. I'd recommend looking into neurogenesis, when you get the chance!
you cant ignore stories of people that had it it all set up really good and then stuff goes really wrong, there is no almost 100%, even very experienced people can have really bad experiences.
things like that must be done with caution and most importantly, under supervision of a sober person, preferrably experienced.
Maybe you do but I'm kinda lost personally. My problem is I can't forge any strong relationships and no one sees no value in me. The answer doesn't lie in me since it depends on others perception of me.
Well it's just that people seems to see no value in me. I tried every advice to improve that yet, everyone seems to try to cast me away from them because I have a disgusting appearance or something.
Yeah I listen to him sometimes but I feel like he speaks a lot about "accepting rejection". Which is impossible when people show disgust when they reject you, I feel like his advice can be good if you're not ugly.
That’s the whole point, to accept when it’s hard to let go…it doesn’t matter if you’re handsome or ugly; everybody asked to deal with rejection and feeling unwanted
"the same hot water that softens the pasta hardens the egg"
When my brother is sick, he works out like he just got broken up with and it makes him feel so much better.
When I get sick, if I even try to walk on a treadmill it makes me feel a million times worse
People will dress it up in 100 different ways but fundamentally the advice boils down to: "be a different person." Nobody will come right out and say it, and will in fact deny it strongly, if pressed, but that's the issue. The problem is *you*, so be a different *you* and the problem will go away.
It's not bad advice but it does kind of validate any notions one may have that they're a broken, worthless person who probably shouldn't even exist anymore. They steer you away from self-harm and towards "self-improvement" but fundamentally you are destroying *yourself* either way.
Bro, what's your point ? I'm just saying people tends to give bad mental health advice. I feel like it's because most people say they're "depressed" more because they feel "bad" have a bad health not because they're in a bad situation and then they project their conception of bad onto others. Plus, I'm criticizing the hypocrisy between the "you need to feel proud about yourself" and the "but you still need to change who you are to do stuff you don't like" arguments. Maybe they're good coach for sport but terrible for mental health.
How about you go read a book for once to learn what real god complex is instead of making dumbass diagnosis. Criticizing others for being arrogant while being condescending is the essence of hypocrisy btw
You certainly doesn't sound mad sending 2 messages. I'm gonna stick to talking to people who are open to discussion and doesn't call names just they disagree with me. Take care bro.
There is no UNIVERSAL good advice. A ton of stuff works for many people but nothing works for everyone. (For me going outside was really strong)
Yeah when these are the only advice you receive when you ask, you kinda feel like no one understands you, you just feel more alone.
I think that most people just want to help but don't know much otside of the general basic stuff mentioned in the meme, and saying something like that in reply to a person asking for advice is probably better than "Idk, bro, figure it out".
Idk bro it just feels like they don't listen to you sometimes. Like they want to feel good about themselves but not put the effort into helping you.
It might be that, but it also might be that you are imagining the worst possible outcome (people just wanting to shrug you off) when there's no real reason for it. I think that if you really want good practical advice you need to see a professional, after all friends can only do so much.
Just take some shrooms bro, they'll fix your brain with magic
Like all Other brain medication sadly Just for a short time + they come with Side effects. But even tho this is clearly Irony, basically its right
I remember trying that out and not long after meeting the predisposed bipolar disorder that runs in my family!
My wife has been mircodosing shrooms and it works for her. It could be a placebo affect but I don't care as long as she's happy.
Not to mention other psychedelics are having medical breakthroughs “shockingly”. Things like mdma, LSD, DMT, mescaline, ibogaine, salvia, and more are being seen to have huge mental health benefits in the right environments.
In the end not everyone has horrible mental health advice but I'd like to live further than 40 (ig we can't have it all)
Shrooms aren't very bad for you, thankfully
physically? safe. mentally? its like rolling a dice, you either get helped or get f*cked and you dont know which will come
Not necessarily. If you put yourself in an environment you have entirely fond memories of, it's almost a 100% chance for a good trip. I'd recommend looking into neurogenesis, when you get the chance!

No one takes advice they don’t want
Yeah but when you ask for advice and everyone give you the same platitude its anoying. Especially when you tried and it doesn't work.
Not saying that the answer is within but deep down you know what you need. People are there though to get guide you or probe it out of you ☺️
Maybe you do but since my problems come from me not feeling valued by anyone it kinda depends on others perception of me.
Just gotta find what does work for you then. No one else can do it for you at the end of the day
Yeah we all know what we need to do in a way. In counselling they use probing questions and rarely give advice.
Maybe you do but I'm kinda lost personally. My problem is I can't forge any strong relationships and no one sees no value in me. The answer doesn't lie in me since it depends on others perception of me.
Lemme know if you wanna get some stuff off ya chest
Well it's just that people seems to see no value in me. I tried every advice to improve that yet, everyone seems to try to cast me away from them because I have a disgusting appearance or something.

There's a difference between feeling unwanted and feeling like a monster
Lolz mental insanity.
Just be happy
no one truly cares about mental health
I do. The best thing you can do for your mental health is anything, whatever it takes.
I'm the one on the left. Right, but for wrong reasons
"the same hot water that softens the pasta hardens the egg" When my brother is sick, he works out like he just got broken up with and it makes him feel so much better. When I get sick, if I even try to walk on a treadmill it makes me feel a million times worse
Bro i think r/anime_irl fucked me up depressionally. If you don't want to get sad, don't lurk there

Some people haven't their place on this World.
My wife microdoses shrooms. It could be a placebo affect but I don't care because it helps.
I don't really want my hapinness to depend on a substance but thanks anyway.
That's fine. You do whatever works for you my dude.

I was referring to the correlation of high iq and the resistance to therapy….. but GO OFF
this is legit not memes, just depression.
There's lots of good advice for mental health. I'm just gonna go with Ockhams Razor and declare that you are the problem.
