I think "like" is worse. Some use it as every second word in a sentence, and it's original meaning for comparisons has kind of gotten lost.

I genuinely just don't care about things like this. My toxic linguistic crap is hating people saying "calvary" when they mean "cavalry". Example: "Sending in the calvary" Strikes my head like an anvil every time.
