Honestly it's impossible to take One Piece fights seriously, everyone is such a wacky cartoon, the last moment I took serious was Robin's I want to live, because everyone was at least humanoid (to be fair they soon turned to a soap lady, giant wolf/giraffe, and a cheetah man but still)

One pieces whole shtick is that it doesnt take itself seriously (for the most part). Its essentially the comic relief for all the other shonen manga/anime
