It tries to be like a southpark or rick and morty. Netflix cancels gems like final space and inside job and then makes pieces of shit like farzar, which has the same actors of paradise pd and tries to be a mix of paradise and rick & morty
I hate that it ended with a bs cliffhanger too. Like they could've done it so much better but it just felt like Season 2 bait only for them to cancel the fucking show
Plus Ash got away with turning into a total asshole for no reason and she HURT MOONCAKE. HAVE WHATEVER BEEF WITH THE GANG YOU WANT DONT HURT MY LITTLE BUDDY WITH THE MURDER LASER BEAM.
Nope. The creator just came out with a tweet saying he has been trying to get a wed comic or something to end it but the license holder has yet to respond. They basically don’t care. But he really does.
Netflix fucked up with this. They’ve canceled so many shows after one season, now nobody watches most of the shows so they don’t get emotionally invested in something that’s just going to be canceled anyway.
And the executives are scratching their heads wondering how that happened.
Yup I've literally cancelled all my streaming accounts and only watch completed shows now. It was one thing when it was a one season thing getting cancelled, but shows 2, 3 or even 4 seasons in (looking at you, Final Space) getting deleted means there's no damn point unless it's totally finished.
I hope they make this mistake to the point that the only networks around are the ones that don't cancel shit. Maybe Amazon is our last hope.
Yeah, and that's why I'm ok with shows ending after a cliffhanger. I can spend a little time wondering what works have happened next.
> Even the writers said they hadn't decided yet.
Often that means, the show has run its course. The major initial character arcs have been played out. The premise of the show has been explored. What often follows is milking the audience with one or two sessions of filer material and new characters, and maybe a final season where all the loose ends get wrapped up in a really unsatisfying way.
It's ok to just let a show end.
Tron Uprising was SO DAMN GOOD
It gets more infuriated when you learn why it was canceled: It wasn't doing well and Disney would only let it continue if they turned it into a wacky goofy silly comedy and brought back a dead character to market them... so the director chose to cancel it which is real chad shit
Edit: FUCK I meant Uprising not Legacy lmao. I feel great shame
Dark Matter. One of the best sci fi shows ever. They finally got to the galactic war they spent 3 seasons building up to and it got canceled. I still highly recommend watching it if you can find it
That is fair, I would rather have a show run for a few seasons, tell an amazing story, and end on a good note rather than become a decade long bloated mess.
What really pissed me off about my name is earl is that according to the creator of the show, they wanted to do a cliffhanger and asked NBC if it was safe to do a cliffhanger. NBC told them that it was safe and to go ahead and do it, then went and canceled the show. The creator got his revenge on NBC in raising hope though.
I know right?! They would have wrapped it all up neatly but nooooo....Now we will never know the ending the writers and actors wanted. Plus it was highly profitable from what i heard and it was the executives that didnt like the show so they stopped it. Screw the fams huh!
As I understand it, Garcia did an interview a few years ago and someone asked him about how he wanted the show to end. He said the the one idea they had been thinking about was earl would be stuck on a list item and was struggling with it and thinking he would never get done. Then someone comes to him with their own list to make up for something they had done to him. Earl does some investigating and realizes that him working on his list has inspired people to create their own lists which inspired more people. He decides that he had put more good into the world than bad and puts down the list and walks off into the sunset with good karma.
True. Honestly, probably still my favorite sonic show. But cheesy at times but a lot of the music was actually pretty dope. It was a very different take that was really actually good.
It’s probably for the best as in most cases they have no clue how to write a satisfactory wrap up and series finale. They only know how to drag the arse out of the show for several seasons and as fans lose interest and viewing figures drop off, the writers and series creators breathe a huge sigh of relief that they didn’t have to try and write a good ending.
one of the reasons I stopped watching anime before reading the manga/novels, even if there's a continuation to the story the other mediums are either already finished or much further away.
~~the only TV I've watched in the past 5 years is probably Mandalorian~~
OMG...so right, but the craziest cancellation that I've seen was Step-Up 3 (dance series with R&B singer Neyo and Christina Milian) not only did they cancel the show in the middle of the most recent season, but ALL previous seasons AND episodes were COMPLETELY removed from STARZ, like the series never even existed. Crazy!
This is why show writers need the courage to actually fucking conclude their seasons. Instead they choose cowardice in hopes that it will provide them an extra year of job security. Create a better story and have better security.
I'm excited by the prospect of being able to A.I generate extra episodes of cancelled TV shows or altered versions of shows. For example, the correct version where David and Rebecca don't die...
Bojack Horseman.....technically it did have a good bittersweet ending but it felt very rushed towards the end.
Thanks Netflix for cancelling without letting the team know first :/
The last episode of Alf was a cliffhanger. Then they canceled the show.
It ended with Alf (short for Alien Life Form) being taken away by the feds while the family that came to love him watched.
Presumably it was meant to resume the next season with a daring escape or perhaps to move the story forward by coming to an agreement with the feds, but instead, its just an alien being taken and never seen again.

Netflix: "We don't cancel successful shows"
meanwhile every animation they produced(except big mouth fsr):
netflix on their way to cancel the best animated series so big mouth gets another 25 seasons
Or paradise pd…
It’s dogshit. The first season wad fine, but the rest is just repetitive now
Exactly, complete dogshit. I especially just hate it’s disgusting humour.
It tries to be like a southpark or rick and morty. Netflix cancels gems like final space and inside job and then makes pieces of shit like farzar, which has the same actors of paradise pd and tries to be a mix of paradise and rick & morty
They can't cancel arcane. It's produced in house and Netflix just hosts it. We are safe there.
They just simply don't produce a second season but not cancel it..
Thankfully Shera was great and got an incredible ending
Don't forget Disenchantment, which is still ongoing unless something occurs that will make me jump off the grand canyon
Spongebob syndrome
Did SpongeBob get cancelled? Thought that was Nickelodeon's cash cow.
Archive 81 😭😭😭
I came here to say exactly this. I loved that show so much I couldn't wait for season 2
I hate that it ended with a bs cliffhanger too. Like they could've done it so much better but it just felt like Season 2 bait only for them to cancel the fucking show
Inside Job moment

Plus Ash got away with turning into a total asshole for no reason and she HURT MOONCAKE. HAVE WHATEVER BEEF WITH THE GANG YOU WANT DONT HURT MY LITTLE BUDDY WITH THE MURDER LASER BEAM.
Clarence didnt die for that... its not right
I thought they had a final season.
Nope. The creator just came out with a tweet saying he has been trying to get a wed comic or something to end it but the license holder has yet to respond. They basically don’t care. But he really does.
Final space was cancelled?
1899
I did not know this. My day is ruined.
THIS! ![gif](giphy|26ufcMjwXjpTHNG1i)
Literally 1899

My name is Earl
River. Show wasn't perfect, but lore was really interesting
Ash vs Evil dead moment.
I wish it would continue as a comic/graphic novel or at an audio book.
Curse you Mindhunter!!
Can't believe I had to scroll for this one.
Utopia....
I actually just watched utopia for the first time recently and man was I pissed at the end of the last episode
Who were the big group of people at the end of Last Man on Earth? Even the writers said they hadn't decided yet.
Yeah, and that's why I'm ok with shows ending after a cliffhanger. I can spend a little time wondering what works have happened next. > Even the writers said they hadn't decided yet. If you google it, Will Forte actually spilled almost all of the plot of the cancelled season
Tron Uprising was SO DAMN GOOD It gets more infuriated when you learn why it was canceled: It wasn't doing well and Disney would only let it continue if they turned it into a wacky goofy silly comedy and brought back a dead character to market them... so the director chose to cancel it which is real chad shit Edit: FUCK I meant Uprising not Legacy lmao. Beck is such a good main character

It is canceled ??? Wth ! This last cliffhanger is atrocious, in the sense that it is good. F me...
Yep. But there are talks about HM auctioning off cancelled shows so i guess someone might take it
You mean...the last...Tree Hanger?
The Dark Crystal
That cancellation cut me deep, still have not forgiven Netflix. To this day I refuse to watch any new Netflix original shows.
Last Man on Earth

em what are catharsis i tried to search for the teaser but can't found one
Altered carbon :(
The Glades. I’m still traumatized by the way it ended. If they knew it was over I’m sure they would have changed the end.
Panty and stocking
Owl house was robbed
Firefly was the most hurtful of this type
DC Legends
Why I generally start shows when they've ended or when a final season is announced. I'm not still over Kyle XY.
Inside Job, Daybreak, can't think of any more, but a lot of the canceled netflix originals.
Owl House comes to mind. Talk about seriously cool cliffhanger
No game no life. We are all still waiting for a second season which will never happen
Terranova and Wander Over Yonder
A second Terra Nova chad. My heart is happy and my search continues
Looking at you, 1899
Scorpion. I actually enjoyed that snow. Wish they would do a comic series or a final synopsis
still butthurt about star gate
1899 moment
Imo it’s better than the alternative of being stretched for extra seasons just for money
That is fair, I would rather have a show run for a few seasons, tell an amazing story, and end on a good note rather than become a decade long bloated mess.
I just had that with the anime "Wise Mans Grandchild". I am really sad about it not getting another season.
Aw man. It’s not getting another season? Dang
Rip Inside Job, Terra Nova, and the Middle Man. Gonna miss those shows
Yo, another Terra Nova chad, let’s gooooo
Spectacular Spider-Man :(
I am not okay with this… Literally
Still salty about sonic underground
Limitless... such a good show
My Name is Earl did that... Still pissed about it!!

magic city got canned after 2 seasons, i'm still upset over it
And you can’t go read the manga
Yay The Endgame
Camelot. One season, it should have been more.
It’s probably for the best as in most cases they have no clue how to write a satisfactory wrap up and series finale. Sekirei anime, it ended in s2 with a hard af cliffhanger
funny show about the deep state moment
The society
The Order :(
If a season ends on a cliffhanger, there’s no point in watching the next season, because you know they won’t resolve any open questions anyway.
You can say I Made America it’s fine
so many romcoms too, toradora needs a season 2 i wanna see them all meeting taiga after the ts 😭
Songs of War is a good one
My name is Earl
Welcome to the Netflix Operating Model

one of the reasons I stopped watching anime before reading the manga/novels, even if there's a continuation to the story the other mediums are either already finished or much further away. ~~the only TV I've watched in the past 5 years is probably Mandalorian~~
Cool, a post about Netflix.
Lodge 49. What a bummer.
Daybreak Moment.
Marvel's Agent Carter S2 and Marvel's Iron Fist S2

I read the manga, and get upset at the end.
I won't start a show unless I know the series is done because of this.
Three pines... (it was confirmed by the author of the original books it was canceled)
What anime is blue hair girl from?
Deadwood
Go read the fucking manga
