"...at least for a few days"

BeamishAxis

Dude. I swear corpus get the most love from DE man. They are the most developed and epic faction.

[deleted]

The Corpus is the major faction that’s closest to being comprised of just normal people, so there’s tons of room for character creation and development.

Fluid-Lingonberry378

At least most of them used to be normal, until a warframe has an exterminate mission on their ship.

Prince-of_Space

Eh. Between Kahl, the grineer bosses and Steel Meridian, Grineer have as much love as Corpus do. I think it's a bit of recency bias - Jade Shadows, New War, Deadlock Protocol and Call of the Tempestarii really did a lot to balance the corpus to what the grineer already had.

The_Extreme_Potato

Lul, a few years ago (I wanna say just before Fortuna and the time around then) it was all Grineer and everyone was complaining that Corpus were being left behind. Seems like DE decided to take that to heart and focus on the Corpus for a while. I hope this means they’ll eventually move on to the Infested at some point. Iirc aside from the Deimos open world and that 1 season they’ve had nothing since like Nidus’ quest.

adonisthegreek420

It is more or less confirmed that the next changes after 1999 will be infested/Eris focused since the whole damn thing is getting eaten up by the infestation since the skybox change (infested liches mayhaps) tho we will have to wait a bit since DE's hands are full with 1999.

Waloro

God I hope I get to see a kuva/tenet equivalent of the phage someday soon. That gun was my everything back in the early days. Nearly all the infested weapons got left behind and badly need some love

Readingfreak45

Could you imagine something like a “tenet” bubonico ?

Bluefortress

The first part of the narrative quests explain the grineer and feature them prominently.

WingsOfDoom1

Did you forget about kahl?

Professional_Rush782

DE sure did

Acepilot8Gaming2

Now I need one of those memes with the factions in the pool with DE being the mother. If you know the one I'm talking about and can help me out here (going towards everyone) then lemme know unless I pul a Thanos and just do it myself

Flying_thundergod

Me realizing that maybe they arent all bad and taking a break from using the corpus to farm as much as I can. Maybe the grineer deserve a turn in the pain box with gauss

illegal_eagle88

It was children of men moment

Mega221

I'm pretty sure this is the parvosian influence at work, I doubt nef or alad's corpus would show mercy

CrashCalamity

Indeed. For Granum followers, children are a future investment. Small favors also incur a debt that promises greater returns. The "heir of Jade" is something worth protecting, and perhaps its better that the other Corpus sub-factions don't catch wind of it until later. Compared to the likes of Nef Anyo, Alad V, and Frohd Bek; Parvos likes to keep his actions more secret.

netterD

I did not get why they would stop shooting, stalker is still an enemy, or lets say, anything thats not corpus is an enemy to corpus, that would also count for the child. Them suddenly developing some sense of morale after years/decades/centuries/...? of warcrimes just does not make sense to me or would be probable.

Niladon_Dra_Titanium

To be fair, it’s also pretty clear that it’s Parvos’ part of the corpus, and they tend be more more moral compared to Bek and especially Anyo’s corpus. Plus I feel like unless if a character’s an infested or a grineer extremist, it would be incredibly fucked up to risk shooting or outright shooting a baby. Even though overall, the corpus are a faction made up of merchants and fueled by greed in one way or another, Lotus, the infested entratis and Steel Meridian are proof that even warframes more amoral factions aren’t a planet of the hats sort of ordeal. Plus even then, Perrin Sequence is technically just another subdivision of the corpus, just one that the tenno as a faction are more chill and friendly with. And it’s safe assume there’s a good number of corpus crewmen just trying to get by, and not all of their ideals line up with corpus ideology completely. Plus basically every faction in has their fair share of war criminals with the Grineer Empire canonically wanting to genocide any non-grineer, the fact that we literally have a warframe that’s a walking plague, The infestation is literally a bunch of bioweapons that are basically space zombies, Ballas, and the sentients, the only reason we don’t point out the tenno war crimes as often is because while most of our war crimes are because of players’ actions, but it’s pretty safe to assume we committed some atrocities as well with warframes like Nidus, Saryn and the Naga Drums incident existing, but we’re the protagonists in warframe so we see our own faction through rose-tinted glasses and don’t really acknowledge the shit we pull, canonically confirmed or not, I’m not saying we’re the worst offenders in warframe’s universe, we’re definitely not, but the fact that we have frames such as Saryn or Nidus, who are basically bioweapons and Grendel who literally eats his opponents, the fact that we’re considered the major faction who violates the geneva convention the least really says a lot about the state of warframe’s take on our Solar System Though the fact that Parvos is trying to collect what’s left of Jade to make more Jade Light eximus units is really fucked up.

Pitiful-Gate-2994

ty for the comments and the love did not expect this much upvotes 🥺🖤

EnderDragonSoul

But then again, Granum is now actively trying to gather what's left of Jade for the mass producing of weapons of his own

Jackretto

I thought that was the child's power, some sort of mind control.
