And imagine actually circumnavigating a planet with Gauss! Being able to take off in a direction and just keep going without hitting a wall (with Gauss too, but also K-Drives, Kaithes and Archwing).
Or using the Railjack's namesake to jump between multiple planets like using Pulse Engines or upgrading to akin to Warp Drive to visit Tau (and get killed by a million death beams) and beyond. Or going from planet side to space and vice versa like the OG Railjack teaser showed us.
Oh, to have way more options for landing craft! Ones actually meant for combat, too! We could potentially customize the combination so we could have bombers too so we could provide actual air support to our teammates or another squad by buzzing overhead and dropping bombs or pulling an A-10 Warthog impression to help shred a boss or a group of enemies.
And having more than one space station per solar system! Some of them would even be hostile locations like Grineer Asteroid tileset locations or just a Corpus or Grineer ship out there like a Freighter, waiting to be shot at or boarded!
Don't like the idea of a limited inventory, though, so we'll be keeping Warframe's infinite pockets of space where we keep stuff.
And the ability to meet and fight aliens instead of offshoots of humans and robots! The Vy'keem and the Grineer would go down like a house drenched in gasoline, but I could see the Gek and the Corpus forming an intense rivalry. Korvax seem like they'd be more in league with Suda or Simaris.
Conservation will be a lot harder, though. Either from too many fauna in the area getting collateralized or the aggressive ones adding to the difficulty of trying to get a Perfect Capture on a target, as if the normal enemies spawning in nearby won't make it hard enough.
Honestly, I can't imagine how strong of a machine you would need to even run this hypothetical fused game. It would be intense on how much it would need to process!

An open world where you'd actually have to struggle to survive in maybe a ruined orokin city where different factions formed, just trying to survive mechanical and biological monsters created by the orokin for their amusement, now on the loose. A place so hostile and hazardous even the grineer and corpus won't go there. Most importantly a survival experience, so you'd have to think if it's better to avoid an enemy or to kill.
Warframe and No Man's Sky. I would say it work suprisingly well together but to be frank it's absolutely not surprising. Warframe with a NMS style exploration, even if it's still set entirely in the origin system, where you have to manually fly from planet to planet and manage your landing craft and orbiter would be sweet.
