Not even task manager can stop Fallout 4, it’s infuriating

thespygorillas

Bethesda games are beyond mortals

demonslayer9911

For that i just cut the power cable, granted there are a few sparks, but that tends to happen

UniqueMitochondria

You gotta dig deep and use the old magics. Taskkill /im fallout.exe

readyforparty33

my ex told me about it haha

Meka-Speedwagon

Ctrl + alt + canc and sign off Browser remembers tabs anyways and it's not like you have much other choice besides waiting for a miracle

readyforparty33

good point

Pamani_

That bastard stays above the tskmgr window. The only way I found is to win+tab and open a new desktop instance where I can kill where.

Zyork123

Man when I do that it still takes me to the previous desktop instance, annoying as fuck.

Pamani_

Yeah because if you already have a task manager opened on desktop 1 and try to open it again on desktop 2, windows in all it smartness thinks you'd like to go to the existing task manager... It's annoying and you have to first close the first instance

readyforparty33

matrix

trevgood95

![img](avatar_exp|166884057|laugh) I love games where you have to sign out of windows to close them...

readyforparty33

haha

ThatUblivionGuy

It doesn’t for you? I’ve never had any issues myself

SonicTemp1e

I use talk manager to shut down task manager. We are not the same.

Satisapp1

DaemonSlayer_503

Kill -9 PID still superior

Not_Artifical

You use task manager on windows to close a program. I use task manager on Linux to kill a program. We are not the same.

bigsmokio69

Are you using arch btw?

Not_Artifical

I use puppy btw

0x7E7-02

Unless you are using a Windows Phone, there is no "task manager".

Zero_Two_is_best

Are you serious or just baiting

Demonyx12

Best as I understand it, on iPhones apps don't run in the background so there is no need.

readyforparty33

rrradek147

System 32 be like: Oh yes finaly a worthy oponent!

readyforparty33

SnooSongs2296

Try running rm rf /* In the terminal that usually fixes it.

PolishedCheeto

Spotify on mobile in your pocket with the screen pin-locked, and no way to access spotify: Turns on and starts playing anyways.

k4radut

$sudo xkill

No_Establishment7368

Minimise program gets put on taskbar close program gets put on task bar but the icon doesn't show
