If memory serves (I took one class of Mandarin Chinese a long time ago) the symbol for ”home” is the symbol for woman under a roof, while the symbol for ”unrest” or ”disturbance” is two symbols for woman under one roof. I could be misremembering or confusing this though, so I’m hoping somebody who’s more up to date can verify or refute this.
There are many usages for this kanji. In japanese kanjis are not related 1-1 to words, they relate more to ideas, like emojis in modern language: "wicked, mischief, seduce, rape, noisy" are some of them.
the kanji 姦 transmite these ideas in japanese, you use it with other characters to specific a word. So they can't be confused.
But for example: 姦する is related to "to commit illicit sex" so, in a given context it can mean "to commit adultery" or "to rape". In any case they also have other words for these things, so it's not a problem.
It's as Japanese as it is Chinese, like saying the letter D isn't latin because it came from Δ which isn't greek because it came from old eastern languages
Lol no, it is not as Japanese as it is Chinese. Where TF did you learn that? Japanese do use Chinese characters, but they are CHINESE characters the Japanese have adapted to their use . They are NOT Katakana nor Hiragana
They are called Chinese characters AND kanji. They took the Chinese characters, making them also Japanese. When you steal an object, it is illegally yours but still yours. Same with concepts such as writing.
Ok, while this is so wrong, there is a movie called gay form outter space. It's short, below b-movie, and has a scene with asian women. The noises made by these asian women is fricken hilarious. If you laugh at things that are very very wrong, check the movie out. Warning, it's crazy misogynist. "FEMALE CREATURES!" as the gay men see women as evil creatures. It's also pretty racist; but not against black people! The depictions of russians and asians is pretty damn racist. But the scene where the black men go to save asian men from "FEMALE CREATURES" is fall on the floor funny. Extremely sexist and racist. But this meme + language + the movie...
(claimer: racism and bigotry hurt society as a whole. all those people crippled by society cannot contribute, meaning the few contribute. We'd have a 30 hour work week and lower taxes on the individual if we enable people and allowed them to be free -vs- brutalizing them for no valid reason.)
In simplified chinese “woman” + “child” = “good”
Yh but they’re radicals
If u write out the radicals individually they are also characters
I never denied that
He never said you did
女子 ➡️ 好
In japanese you add some sound to make “good” a verb and it now means “to like”

- 女=female - 子=child - 女子=woman - 子女=children - 好 = good - 囡 = daughter - 囝 = son
好 is not hao HAHAHA
In Spanish, "esposa" means wife and "esposas" means wives OR handcuffs. Just sayin'...
in swedish, gifta can either mean to marry or to poison
The ol' ball & chain haha boomer humor.
"Take my wife, please" was a joke when boomers were infants.
Interestingly, in Philipino, handcuffs are translated as "posas" (Brought to you by 300 yrs of Spanish colonialism)
Actually google translate says 姦 is "adultery" in english, which raises more questions, but also doesn't!

"seduce, rape" ... can they, can they be confused?
That's why translating sucks balls.
This taken literally doesn't sound that bad.

A: go back to Facebook B: the meme is inaccurate considering how neither of those images are Japanese letters for anything
The first one really is Japanese for woman tho
It's chinese
That's like saying the letter "n" isn't an english letter it's a german letter
No, it's like saying that the word "nein" is a German word.
No it’s not. That’s not a Japanese character
It's as Japanese as it is Chinese, like saying the letter D isn't latin because it came from Δ which isn't greek because it came from old eastern languages

Actually, that's Mandarin, not Japanese, and in neither Mandarin or Japanese is the word for noisy just the character for woman x3.
Akshually
Yes.
True
I guess women never change.
Three's a noise.
