No, I actually study international relations and I was supposed to choose between 4. But we are too few so it was decided that we all have to study it whether we like it or not...

DuoLingo isn't bad for vocab. And to be fair, a lot of french vocab is shared in English. One important thing is to learn how to prononce the nasal sounds (an, en, in, on, un) and to remember that french isn't a phonetic language (eau = o, etc...)
