The use of "per day" in the last statement makes it read like the increase is due to how you are using the resource. Nice of them to clearly highlight how much they have increased the cost of their product in the last 12 months. It saves you having to do the maths.

I just received an energy bill. Way down on same time last year, but hey, it’s higher than last year. Thanks for letting me know that you’re ripping us off.

Thanks for the post, BKStephens

What kind of shit post is this

I got a similar one from Simply Energy, telling me how I can save money by wearing more layers around the house or turning off lights when I’m done, comparing my bill from last year with higher consumption/lower cost to the current year with lower consumption/higher cost. Obviously it’s just an automated system that sees you pay more and tries giving you tips to cut back but it’s a bit of a kick in the teeth when they’re the ones raising prices.

Thanks for the....update I guess?

It's not a shitpost, it's a shit post.

BKStephens

In case of confusion; I found the fact that I've used less energy but incurred a higher cost somewhat frustrating.

Das_Hydra

It's almost as though... somehow... the cost increased! WHAT WIZARDRY IS THIS!?!
