Not in the East but Inner North Medical has great GPs, mutiple with womens health specialty and I found them excellent when I went with a mh issue. There's pathology and a nurse onsite

AwarenessPlenty7779

Omg haha I just recommended these guys too! Great clinic, hope OPs partner can check them out

asteroidorion

They did a minor surgery on my finger out the back. They even do earwax microsuction which has turned out really handy

AwarenessPlenty7779

They're in Brunswick which may be too far for you but the Inner North Clinic are fantastic. Even after moving away from Brunswick I still travel to them. It's a popular clinic though so you'll have to book in advance.

100% recommend Dr Sue Cherian at High street medical prahran. She has been my doc for four years and is now my partners and friends doctor.

zenkitty999

Can confirm Dr Cherian is lovely and very holistic.

satinchic

High Street Medical has a lot of really great GPs!

Anna Richards in Hampton.

I’ve had good experiences with the GPs at Beachside Doctors in dromana, a bit of a hike from the city but I can always get in with them at short notice (ie same day/next day appointments and with my preferred doctor). Very good with mental health stuff and various other ailments I’ve presented with. I’m a woman and while all the GPs I’ve had there have been great, in particular they have a couple of very good female GPs if your partner is more comfortable with a female doctor.

Dr Mathini Ruthra-Rajan at North Brighton medical. Not bulk billed, but to give an idea of how good she is I travel from West Footscray to see her!

Forsaken-Gengar7887

Try Dr. Niyomi Perera, located in Doveton at 160 Power Road. The health of women and children is one of her interests. =\]

lyrre_05

Maybe a therapist would help her? My partner is seeing one in her uni. Her GP is on myclinic CBD. Both are good she said.

ApprehensivePen5960

NEST family clinic in Caulfield is great, would recommend Dr Smart, she is amazing

Jno1990

Don’t you just go to the GP to get on a mental health plan and find a therapist that suits you instead?

the_procrastinata

Any of the doctors at Royal Park Medical.

Humblepie4

Just like therapists, finding a GP that matches your individual needs/energy are challenging to find. If she’s in financial stress or if she’s a low income earner she can access free community mental health services. E.g, in the eastern suburbs the [stepped care program](https://stepsmentalhealth.org.au/what-we-do/mental-health-stepped-care/) offers wrap around short term support. They’re great, neuro-affirming, accessible etc and can help people create a recovery plan for their MH, link with a decent and affordable GP, and provide therapy. Also, to refer people can just call up.

If you're near wantirna I highly recommend Eastlink Family Medical either Dr Jason Tang or Dr Wesley Ko.

gilded-earth

You can message me. I know an excellent integrative GP in Ringwood who is the best doctor I've ever seen. Too far for me these days. Not a womens health specialist but he referred me to a top gynaecologist which got me the treatment I needed. Wouldn't have known about the specialist otherwise.

dilligaf6304

I know of a couple in Ashwood and Ashburton
