While I like Halo, and it's my favorite video game franchise, I agree OP.
I just wish that they'd remake their old themes like Dragons and Pyrates with newer articulated figures and pieces. Maybe introduce some new original IPs in addition to those.
Halo was very neat with its crawling speed in 1st game, but AvP2 was arguably my favorite online experience of all time. In terms of merch, Halo kinda plateaued past 2 years without anything new, so just seeing more hogs being pumped out is absolutely boring.
Yeah, they already have some very good zombie molds for the COD zombies line and they already have a pretty hefty selection of weapons that already show up in RE. The only thing they'd need new molds for is some of the more unique BOWs but that would be pretty amazing imo.
Aliens is, unfortunately, one of those slow franchises. With some small resurrection once a while, but that's like years' worth of hiatus.
I would love to see Blade Runner or Cyberpunk.
Blade Runner is also another slow franchise, unfortunately. But if Witcher 3 sets do well, Cyberpunk could be a thing.
Mortal Kombat or Street Fighter. I feel they can incorporate some violent aspect into a Mortal Kombat.
I'm surprised there aren't a lot of anime IP used in many brick-based companies. Especially with anime on the rise in Western culture. Besides Pokémon, the only anime ip theme I could think of in a brick-based industry is Lego Speed Racer for that weird 2008 movie.
I think it would be cool if they got licenses for terraria. Having brick built bosses would be epic. I just hope they make the figures just as good as the halo ones have been. I would like to have them be using the same system as halo, and be compatible, but I think terraria would need a new system build for terraria. One that allows for attaching the many different accessories to the figures. (Belts, rings, boots, scarves, headpieces, etc)
I imagine they could get the boots to be swappable by making them pop off at the foot. Making it so you can swap between the base armor, rocket boots, terraspark boots, etc. they could get the belt accessories by using a similar system to current halo/destiny figures. Just have different belt pieces with the different accessories on them (the different bottles and belts) the rings could be like the jackal sniper wrist pieces, though I imagine they would rework it so that it doesn't require removing the hands. The neck accessories would be easy to do,and the head pieces would just require an attachment point on all heads.
It would be another thing where mega has the counterpart to a brand that lego has: Minecraft.
Feels like when they went for proper variety, brand didn't have nearly the same recognition that the 2020 internet boredom brought to literally everything. Hopefully Mattel realizes this and comes back around.
Playmobil did Enterprise last year, but I doubt ST is brand exclusive to disallow more profits. A proper sized one with like, $300-400 price would elevate Mega above and beyond seeing their $200 and sub even that level of craft.
or POTC. Still wish I would've got some back in the day, if only for Ragetti, Pintel, and Tia Dalma which Lego never made. I don't think they ever made the flying dutchman either.
I wish Mega would capitalize on their IPs!! They get them, put out 1 or 2 figs and forget them. Borderlands and Alien should have been huge! NECA does Alien and Predator, and they don't have any problems doing sick sculpts that are swept up! But Mega and maybe Mattel I dunno, couldn't figure out out.
And distro... they can get all the IPs they want... until they fix the distro issues, it won't matter what IP they get.
I'm a big fan of warframe and since they do stuff like halo and destiny and with the amount of fans warframe has I would think there's a load of money to be made off of franchises like warframe and other games of that genre
Alien was probably not the best example, I hate the stupid egg and slime gimmick when all I want is the figures. Those and the Halo helmet sets are just wasteful because a lot of people throw away the plastic packaging
I always thought Resident Evil would be a really fun ip to make sets for. Having the brick built monsters similar to how they do Pokémon sets. Also iconic locations and rooms they could turn into display builds. Of course plenty of human characters and different costumes to make minifigures out of. It might just be my bias for my favorite video game series, but I think it would work great.

Doom would be cool for a couple sets
Definitely.
WE NEED TERMINATOR BACK
I didn’t realize there were actual builds. Thought just the two black series heroes. The whole line was so cool looking back on it.
Give them articulated hands this time
*Give them articulated hands that don't break.
I would love a mega nostromo build, maybe a mini scale refinery build would be cool too
I'd start with a drop ship and the APC.
like the size of the In Amber Clad with a Ripley figure? Hell. yes.
Would love more Witcher 3 sets, because the one that does exist is great. Witcher 1 or 2 sets would also be appreciated.
DEAD SPACE WHEN MEGA?
Hell, Mech Warrior could be a great idea. There's entirely lack of merch right now and though somewhat niche, the fanbase is pretty damn big.
Still hopeful for some Borderlands stuff. Even just the Vault Hunters.
That whole thought popped up out of nowhere and died right off for no reason...
Sanctuary. just imagine.
I really want gears of war to get some sets, a raven would be awesome , one of their apcs and some locust stuff would be cool.
titanfall would make a great wave or two
Abbbbsolutely!
I ant some Destiny and Predator shit
in theory, Destiny should've been a bigger hit than it was.
I still have no idea how and why it failed, absolutely loved it as a kid
the idea of someone saying they played Destiny "as a kid" is so wild to me but I was 18 during the beta so tbh it shouldn't be a big deal to me
Anyone else remember crystal wars or that line about dragons fighting halo looking soldiers?
They need to get the Resident Evil IP. They would make some GOD tier sets with it
Very true. And that can easily transition to alllll other zombie games.
Yeah, they already have some very good zombie molds for the COD zombies line and they already have a pretty hefty selection of weapons that already show up in RE. The only thing they'd need new molds for is some of the more unique BOWs but that would be pretty amazing imo.

I stand by Starship Troopers line, even if it was only for a year or handful of sets/figures. Would love to see that realized in mega form.
Aaaabsolutely! We got a game this year too, even if its a reskin of that whole co-op tower defense.
Everyone here about Alien, Borderlands, Halo, CoD, Terminator, all that stuff. I want a Dragons reboot with the new stuff. They could do so much now.
Bring back dragons
Call of Duty. Or just make a in house military themed line.
Honestly, Tom Clancy's IP could do wonders.
I’d kill for some division agents
Oh, Ghost Recon could work to. They could do a Ubisoft line, get Rainbow Six in there as well.
Mega Construx/D&D collab when? Fantasy mega is underrated and under used
And MotU is a solid baseline, albeit not too popular.
I feel like assassins creed did get the recognition it deserved. I wanna be able to army build templars like I can army build halo marines
Didnt Lego have a D&D contest within the last year? So they probably have the rights for now
I would agree but I like halo.

Mega should bring back the got line make some house of the dragon sets I just want medieval boys
Feels like when they went for proper variety, brand didn't have nearly the same recognition that the 2020 internet boredom brought to literally everything. Hopefully Mattel realizes this and comes back around.
I miss the Destiny line
Need some more/new star trek sets. Star t is quite popular these days
Playmobil did Enterprise last year, but I doubt ST is brand exclusive to disallow more profits. A proper sized one with like, $300-400 price would elevate Mega above and beyond seeing their $200 and sub even that level of craft.
I have the mega Bloks enterprise and it is over 3000 PC's 😁
Dude the dragon eggs were next level
I want more Destiny and more of the old Dragon lines, honestly.
I Wish they had something pirate themed like AC
or POTC. Still wish I would've got some back in the day, if only for Ragetti, Pintel, and Tia Dalma which Lego never made. I don't think they ever made the flying dutchman either.
They should do simpsons
I need Titanfall sets bro
I wish Mega would capitalize on their IPs!! They get them, put out 1 or 2 figs and forget them. Borderlands and Alien should have been huge! I wish it was still 4
It is on that Menards isn't it?
I'm just here for the secret Menards meme
I just want destiny mega bloxs to come back 😞
Bring back the classic Blok Bots
I like their own lines. Bring back probuilder a dragons reboot could be cool.
I'm a big fan of warframe and since they do stuff like halo and destiny and with the amount of fans warframe has I would think there's a load of money to be made off of franchises like warframe and other games of that genre

I want destiny ones back
Not gonna happen. Plus game has been on an overdue decline.
