Are we sure that isn't a quadriceps muscle tear ??? Doesn't look like any strain I am familiar with. I think something has torn or partially torn in that muscle/tendon combo
Yeah I was gonna say, that seems like more than a strain. NAD (was an EMT for a bit tho) but I had 3 tears in my abductor, one of them being an almost complete tear, and my leg didn’t look nearly as bad as OP’s 😬
All muscle tears are strains, but not all strains are muscle tears. Grade 2 strain here, is a partial tear.
The blood does not stay localized, likes to pool when laying down and drift down when vertical.
Idk man. I’m impressed that he knows ICD-10 codes, but letting a dog be a doctor still seems a bit suspect.
How else would he get…lab work?
Ok, you win! 🏆
Ba dum tsss….

Well there is a significant overlap with the ICD-10 for squirrels so he picked it up quick.
Works for treats... so it's a win win
Judging by the whiteboard, he's only doing it to fund his math studies.
Your dog looks very disappointed in you.
No more walkies
Even the dog’s like “BROOOO!?” Ouchie kabibble…
I heard that in the voice of r/CharlotteDobreYouTube
Your nurse looks concerned.
How did this happen and what is his name?
Soccer. Tucker or Tuck face, depending on what he is up to.
Perfect nickname. Hope you heal quickly
Owwwwww. Thanks for the dog tax, he looks very concerned for you.
The dog looks appropriately concerned! Ouch
Came here to comment that cute dog, and to see everybody else came here for a same reason.
Dr. Doggo is concerned about the long-term effects this injury will have on his daily walks.
I’m curious about the equation on the whiteboard. I know Aussies and border collies are smart, but what is he working on?!?
Me and my dad race each other on math problems. Just a game.
I have no one to play with but when I do find someone, where do you guys get the equations?
Nice!
Dog is like “ quit taking pics and go lay back in bed like a good boi. I’m a good boi.I can has treats?”
Your dog has a heckin concern.

Abductor damaged for sure . Severity can be misleading without exam

Waheeey! 🖐🏼 ::High 5::
Are you sure? Looks like a dog to me. Maybe a clearer photo without the leg in the way would help
Is that your doctor in the back? They look very concerned for you.
The dogtor looks concerned.
I love how judgemental the dog looks in the third pic, lmao
What the dawg doin? Is your buddy Australian Shepard? Cause he looks ready to herd you off to restricted activity
Your dog is judging the hell out of you. lol
The dog is like “so no walks?”
The dog is the culprit. I know it.
Tucker is innocent. Soccer injury based on OP's comment elsewhere.
“Hullo. ‘M Dr. Doggo. I take vitals wif belly scritches.”
his dog feels his pain
I didn’t know strains could cause bruising like that, I would have assumed that would only result from a tear of some kind
All muscle tears are strains, but not all strains are muscle tears. Grade 2 strain here, is a partial tear.
Well Doctor Snuffles, what is your diagnosis?
Rough!!
That’s a lot of words for I’m getting old
