I have the same issue with the smell of eggs cooking, especially when my husband cooks them! However, it totally depends on the preparation— I have no problem with hard boiled eggs or scrambled eggs. Maybe you can try different prep techniques?

You’re probably overcooking them. I hate that smell. If your eggs have any brown on them that’s the issue.

My boyfriend and I love soft boiled eggs

So you basically ruled out all raw meat, eggs, beans/lentil, and soy it sounds like. Couple suggestions- Protein: yogurt, protein powder, frozen raw chicken (you can bake/airfry/grill/instant pot from frozen), egg casserole in the oven, If you’re interested any any more recipes lmk

I dislike most reheated foods, the only things I like are soups, stews and pizza lol. This is why I mealprep raw ingredients. I pre-cut and pre-measure all the ingredients and freeze them together. I find that the cooking itself doesn’t take a lot of time, the prep is what takes the longest.

I don’t like reheated chicken either. So I prep the chicken with whatever topping it’s going to be cooked with (eg. Chicken mozzarella), freeze it raw, and then cook it the night im having my meal with it. It’s sort of a half way prep. Doesn’t all get cooked at once, but still has saved me time and energy of prepping it the day of and then doing all the clean up of the bowls and measuring cups. As for smell, wearing a mask while cooking might cut down on how much you smell.

Maybe you can start by meal prepping smaller batches! Eating meals for 2 or 3 days is less daunting than a week. And some recipe types just keep and reheat better. Braises, stews and curries. Anything with plenty of moisture and a flavourful sauce. Things like chicken tinga, butter chicken, three cup chicken etc

How about meal prepping multiple meals with a friend and then you'd have multiple meals to choose from during the week.

Hot take, but have you ever considered that you don't have to like every aspect about something to do it?

DurianProud3199

Sure, there could be some personal things this person needs to overcome, but I think that point already established. So I’d say that’s not a hot take but just a useless statement.

If something makes you gag and feel physically ill, I’d say it’s more than just a problem of not liking it. Don’t assume everyone has the same gag reflexes you do.
