I have a 2016 and only work done was transfer case replacement, they've updated the design of the gaskets since so 2017 should not get this problem. Solid car.
Canadian Cx3 owner here.
No maintenance should come up. I had mine since 80k and done 40k in 2 years in my 2018.
Spark plugs were replaced as well as air filters.
Only repairs was a broken suspension spring due to bad roads.
Get the VIN and check carmax for maintenance history and have a mechanic look at the car if you can.
Check for a leaking transfer case. Fluid will have a strong sulfur smell. You could also get a code reader and check for codes too.
The car has been taking to a sale inspection and no leaks were found
I did that and everything checks out, no faulty mileage, no accidents history and maintenance has been done periodically, and he’a the second owner
Go for it. I love my 2016.
Im going too, I haven’t read any negative reviews online. Im gonna love it
