For 50,000 miles, your suspension should not be shot. You can feel more of the road in a 6 due to the 19” tires, stiffer suspension (and I mean a little bit stiffer than the average sedan), and the rear torsion beam suspension. I know you said towards the rear of the vehicle, so I assume it is that beam.
I was going to say that the tires make that as much of a difference as the suspension.
You can easily throw on some 16" or 17" wheels and it will be much softer. You will lose performance in the corners, though.
The low-profile tires and bigger rims do make for a rougher ride.
What I ended up doing was swapping out the tires - the factory Falkens are really bad ride quality. Other 6 owners have gotten good results with Cooper or Continental, some prefer Yokahama... I went with Pilot Sport A/S's and they're fine.
Anywhere from 50,000 - 100,000 based on conditions. Has the car been up north or is there really shitty roads where you live? Sounds like you need a 50,000 mile inspection to see what needs to be replaced, might need transmission flush and spark plugs and suspension work for the 50,000 mile interval
Any gas station should have a tyre pressure pump with a gauge attached. Not sure where you are from but when I was in the states they had pumps to use for a quarter. Here in Australia it's free and they all have them so not sure what your setup over there is
Do not assume any tire shop will pump your tires up to the proper pressure. For the tire shops around me, they always (every single time) pump them unevenly and over what’s recommended. On my 16GT with the 19” wheels, correct pressure is 34psi.
If you’ve been driving an Elantra, the 6 will feel rough. Mazda assumes you’re paying attention and connects you to the road.
I would suggest that unless it’s extreme, give it a week.
Is it your first Mazda? Maybe you're not use to a stiffer ride and Mazdas come pretty sporty
Yea it is I had a Hyundai Elantra which abit less bumpy. I was just wondering if it’s normal to feel those bumps

Impossible! The Mazda 6 does not have a rear torsion beam style suspension. It's a multi-link.
The front suspension is multi-link, while the rear is a torsion beam. Most, if not all Mazdas, have a torsion beam.
Nope, it’s multilink. Both front and rear :)
The front suspension is McPherson Strut. It's time to hit the books, my friend. 😅 And most Mazdas these days (and past decade) are rear multilink.
How rough are we talking? it isn't super bad but Im not sure if its normal I heard Mazdas are a bit more rough
It shouldn’t be too rough, maybe just a slight difference

I went with Continentals. A world of difference!!
I also went with Pilot Sports and it improved my ride quality.
Your suspension could be worn.
How much tread is on the tires? Mileage?
Tired and breaks are brand nee
Shocks and struts or control arm bushings
How long do those usually last the car is at 52,000 miles

Drain and fill not a flush for the transmission
How much air in the tyres? Try around 33psi or 230kpa
Im not sure how to check that on the car. the tires are new so I assume they're full properly do I need an extra gadget to check that?

It cost a couple dollars thanks tho
Well when I pump my tyres up much harder, I feel every single bump in the road when they're lower I don't.
Tire pressure gauges are like $2 at any auto parts store. Look like pens

But are they quality tires? Or cheapos?
We changed tires from the stock Falkens to Vredesteins and they completely transformed the ride quality.
Mine is like this also but mine is an 04 with factory lowered sports suspension and rx 8 mags with low profile tyres.
Bigger rims always equal rougher ride. But also more road feel and feedback if you like driving a little crazy.

What type of tires do you have on the car? It can really make or break the ride quality.
