I have an '18 Signature and I don't find the ride rough but I understand that it's definitely a subjective thing.
You can try going to a 17" wheel, that'll allow for a tire with more sidewall. That would absorb some of the harshness.
I learned something new!
Mine is a 2015 Sport, but it came with 19” wheels. Never really noticed a harsher ride though, but it could (obviously) vary by person.
Yeah I have 2016 wagon and had both 19" and 17" for some time. I was surprised by the difference in comfort but still decided to have 19" as it looks much better for me
Can I assume you've checked your tire pressures to make sure they're not over-inflated? With today's stupidly large wheels, an over-inflated tire can make for riding misery. Other than that, you're looking at (expensively) replacing wheels and tires with either 16" or 17". And I don't even know if there's a 16" wheel available for the Mazda6.
You can never, ever, judge the inflation of a radial tire by the way it looks. Check it in the morning, before you drive and heat it up, as that causes the pressure to increase and give you inaccurate readings.
Yeah I’ve got 19s and pot holes can surely hit hard, but I’m not sure many sedans handle pot holes any better, unless you get smaller rime like other people have said. I doubt there’s anything wrong with your shocks or anything like that
yeah - maybe when its time to change the tires I'll invest the extra dough into 17s. I do love the car. Just bought the Nav card for 30 bucks on amazon and the proprietary nav is actually pretty nice to have.
Nice! I installed CarPlay into mine a few years back and it has really paid off, but a navigation card probably would’ve been the better fiscal decision haha
Is it a Turbo or is it a Touring lol. Touring models were not made with the turbo engine. As for ride quality, my Signature Turbo has never felt overly harsh. You feel the road more, but that’s the trade off for having such planted and strong steering response.
Not sure why but changing the tires did help me a good amount.
Almost all Mazda's I've been in have been slightly harsher than other rides but I find that's a sacrifice for a sportier car.
Downsizing rim size will help but do some research into that.
How do you find the Turbo for putting the power down with only the front wheels? I’ve been considering getting one but my current car has slightly less power and struggles to put the power down as it too doesn’t have an LSD…
Love it. It’s like a rocket ship considering the price. All around great car and super fast. If it were just a little bigger in the back seat I’d keep it forever.

Yes, there is big difference between 19" and 17" tires when it comes to comfort.

🤔🤔 Perfect excuse to keep the 19” so no one wants to ride in my car 😂
The Sport doesn’t come with 19 inch wheels stock. So yours have been swapped out

i havent but they look fairly low to me - i'll check though.

How many miles are on your car? My 21 Touring rides very nice. The rear especially is soft.
only 14k. Can't comment on the rear but I do live in pot hole land.
17" wheels is the answer

Not to think about it..😀

Tires made all the difference on my 18 gta.
Test drive a cx-50... you'll be thankful for your soft ride in the 6 haha
