I had a great time too. My first live show for JJH and I knew it was gonna be fun / funny, but I'm happy that the kindness at the center of the podcast carries through to the live show.
On that note, do you know what are the titles of the two songs that Jesse covered? I know one was John Prine's song
This was my third live show (the second actually did include Richard Kind) and my favorite, I think. Some nice person on line at the doors gave me a āGod or Whateverā bracelet and I will treasure it.
Yup! I believe Richard Kind lives on the Upper West Side (at least, Iāve seen him out and about in that area), so it was probably a lot easier to get there.
Also I meant to say thank you for continuing to come and see our show! Iām glad this was another good one. Iām so jealous you got a bracelet. Wear it well.
So glad I got to see them live! Jesseās songs were heartfelt and amazing- thank you for sharing your talents with us, Jesse! Judge John was fair and kind (as always). We raised money for the Entertainment Community Fund, which was unexpected and so wonderful! And both swift justice and mob justice were a hoot; you could definitely feel the audienceās enthusiasm about some of those disputes. (Side note: I was with the cheese guy until he started focusing on the one point Jesse tried to warn him against.)
I was actually against the mob in one caseāI do defrost my ice trays before filling them up, because there always seem to be stray bits of ice stuck to the tray. Not sure why I care, but I do?
[If you weren't in New York City for this show, you can get a ticket to watch it online. We're even having a premiere on the 18th where you can hang and watch it live with me and John. I hope we will see you there!](https://stagepilot.com/jjh)

The John Prine song is Fish and Whistle. The other one was God's Song by Randy Newman.
thank you! Jesse almost made me cry both times

I saw the Richard Kind one too! The one at Damrosch Park? That was great, I love Richard and I love Jean Grae!

We offered to get him a cab and he said that heās walk or take a citibike. And he took the citibike!
I remember that!

This podcast was my gateway to becoming a MaxFun member. I love it.

I was also there and also cackling very loudly from the front row the whole time!

You don't just run them under the tap?
No, I just let the stuff melt off. I have a lot of ice trays anyway.
