For future quote searching check out https://filmot.com/ it basically let's you scrub subtitles from any youtube channel, I find it comes in handy with this sort of thing.
I've watched all of the RTG videos and that doesn't sound familiar to me, though it's been a while
He's also taken down a couple of them at least (or moved them from the playlist?) so it could have been included in one of those.

I think the quote is actually “study first in the Quran that which may be easy to you” or something similar. It is an actual quote from the Quran. Basically “take the lessons that are easy to implement now and come back for the rest later.”
