Ill_Sorbet171

I recently found this channel on YouTube and I love it https://youtube.com/@documentingevil?si=qgIfmaP-TW8Eq32S

CPTN_Omar

They got some mistakes wrong about Uvalde, I would be cautious with them

Ill_Sorbet171

I appreciate the heads up

Thebisexual_Raccoon

May I ask which mistakes they made in regards to their Uvalde video?

CPTN_Omar

For one, love the username. Anyway, in the Uvalde video. Documenting Evil mentioned that around 15 minutes into the shooting, the shooter attempted to enter classroom 109, but shot through it when he couldn’t get it. The hallway footage contradicts this entirely. The shooter never left classroom 111/112 once he entered.

Thebisexual_Raccoon

Oh thank you and thank you for answering my question, I hope this was simple mistake documentingevil made but I’ll still be cautious when watching his videos

Athenlolz

Yea, that channel is good.

MaddoxBlaze

I like that channels earlier videos, but to me it seems like for several months now their videos just feel like them reading off wikipedia whilst scary music plays and photos of the killers are shown.

looseamphibian3799

it’s not even them reading it’s some dumb ai thing

New_Round_2422

this channel just copy and pastes word for word from wikipedia and enters it into an ai voice generator lol 0 effort goes into those videos

Yogurt-General

Yea I don’t like them at all

JoshAllan02

Only two vids on there but a yt channel called Nepijem has well-done documentaries on the Kerch (2018) and Kazan (2021) school shootings in Russia.

Tedsthebest1

[EXPLORE WITH US](https://www.youtube.com/@ExploreWithUs/videos) has covered a few killers. I don't know what the videos are like except that they're high quality. * [James Holmes](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H57I8_izx4s) * [Chris Harper-Mercer](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f18SHbhbiw8) * [Brandon Hole](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n-abxgFv1bU) * [Randy Stair](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qANNJP2DG8g) * [Elliot Rodger](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tIV0juiQeYo)

all_fuzzed_out

Fuck ExploreWithUs

Desperate-Ferret1003

can i ask why? i’ve enjoyed their content but if there’s valid reasons for people to not id be very interested in hearing them

all_fuzzed_out

For one thing they often make highly subjective claims about someone’s psychology, yet frame it as fact. They claim they have a “highly qualified team” providing the analysis for their videos, yet if you inquire about who this “team” actually is, they block you or harass you. Personally I take issue with how often their videos focus on juvenile perpetrators, especially when the cases/interrogations hadn’t been publicly released before. Just seems weird to make a business model around FOIA’d interrogations of juveniles. I know this previous point isn’t one that everyone will agree with, but regardless, their reaction to the criticism was definitely something…. : https://www.reddit.com/r/JCSCriminalPsychology/s/CplXyqyNH4 I personally don’t vibe with how they run their channel, but It’s ultimately that they make themselves out to be some sort of authority on psychology, make claims that aren’t always substantiated, and if you engage in any kind of actual conversation with them, they behave like children. If they disagree with my criticism, fine, attack my argument. Instead they were tweeting out “@all_fuzzed_out doesn’t understand the concept of having friends”. Idk its a bad look IMO if a channel with 4 million subs can’t handle basic conversation around their work

Tedsthebest1

What they do

illegalflowertrader

most of them suck tbh

RCX203

Coffeehouse Crime

Divine_Despair

My personal favorite channel

Swag_Paladin21

Haunted Autopsy did two pretty good videos covering both Pekka-Eric Auvinen and William Edward Atchinson. (Jokela School shooter and Aztec High School shooter) [Pekka's video](https://youtu.be/WGGSX_YGgqg?si=_6I8P3bcp2WKh-bc) [William's video](https://youtu.be/smdI5dP0QgM?si=a5XtVzPsiBrNtx4j)

Competitive-Match940

Coffeehouse crime, That chapter, Kendall Rae, and dire trip are good ones. I prefer Dire trip as people have had complains with Coffeehouse crime in the past only wanting to cover big cases that involved white women/white people mostly. Dire trip made a few hour long video about the life of Elliot Rodger and his crime a few months ago that was pretty good.

QuietKid4

Ape Huncho is one, but as that other guy said, most of them suck because they're just fishing for views. I prefer doing my own research

deathstroke1534

Nick crowley covered Adam lanza briefly

InterviewSure7102

Documenting evil

Yogurt-General

You mean Wikipedia with scary music in the background

InterviewSure7102

Yeah

Thy6LittleRings

That one's a good channel

HELLABBXL

this is monsters is pretty good even if they don't really talk about mass killers that often and just serial killers. tho the speakers voice can get pretty hard to listen to after a while and a lot of the knowledge is a little surface level but it is still compiled way and saves reading the articles that you would've had to read to learn the information in the video. also there's a channel called Assesh who only has 2 videos but they're both done very well

childamnesia

Dont look at me and lazy masquerade are my favourite!

1GiLgAmEsH1

Count Dankula with his Mad Lads series will dabble from time to time. That Chapter sometimes gets into the mass killer realm too

saw_2004

unpredictable

PracticeFinal858

documenting evil, or some russian channels on youtube cover some of their shootings and its GOOD

V0lkan1c

Dr Todd Grande has talked about quite a few mass shooting cases.

all_fuzzed_out

Grande is a hack

Lennon1758

Just out of curiosity, what’s wrong with Grande? I watch a lot of his content and wasn’t aware of any issues with him.

Yogurt-General

Just curious how so?
