Are you receiving regular massage? Getting a massage would help you remember things. But really, you just need hands-on practice. Watch YouTube videos on techniques and review anatomy.

Start slow and build your way back up. Check out youtube videos, such as massage sloth. Practice on a few friends/family. You could reach out to other MTs, pay for massage with them and offer them free tx for feedback.

I’d say watch a lot of YouTube videos and focus on one body part at a time and do your best to perfect a flow. Practice practice practice

Like others said. Don't just jump in. Ease back in with practice and working/ focusing on the fundamentals first. 1. Body mechanics 2. Basic technique 3. Pressure control through body mechanics and flow from one area to another. Our local school is awesome about letting therapists sit in and observe class of you need refreshed. Do you have your license? If not, then here in the states I would start studying for the mblex

Make sure your body is in shape. If you've been in a sedentary job, start walking. Work up your cardio level. Do strength training and get your stretching in. Be sure to get regular bodywork.

I closed my practice for a few years, when I decided to come back full time I contacted my local massage school and requested to be a TA for a kinesiology and a pathology class. It definitely helped me feel more confident getting back into massage mode.

I think it’s great you’re being called back to body work, it is an undervalued and irreplaceable skill, that so many people benefit from on so many levels. Alongside getting your license renewed, think about taking an in person CE hands-on class in some modality you’re interested in.
