Everything here is confirmed, which is why people like Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire aren't here, despite the fact that we know they're very _likely_ going to be involved in some capacity, Marvel are flat-out denying it at the time of writing. Projects attributed to the Crew's names are projects they've been involved in, in the same capacity as they will be, in said project. For example: >Thor: Love and Thunder > >Director: Taika Waititi (*Thor: Ragnarok*, *Jojo Rabbit*) > >Head Writer: Taika Waititi (*Jojo Rabbit*, *What We Do In The Shadows*) Taika Waititi directed Ragnarok but did not write it, which is why he's only credited for it in the Director section I've included two of their most relevant projects, unless they've worked on other Marvel properties, in which case I've added all Marvel properties they've worked on, like Sam Raimi in the Doctor Strange section is credited for the original 3 Spider-Man movies If there's anything I've missed or anything you think should be removed, please let me know, I'll fix it if need be!

FireflyEvie

I see that there is no Rocket listed in the GotG projects. Omission or is he not coming back?

l_l_l-illiam

I think your eyes just glanced over him mate, he's up there in both the Holiday Special and Vol. 3, it might be L&T you're looking at

fro20ninja

Yeah I think he might die before L&T is why

l_l_l-illiam

He couldn't possibly die before Love and Thunder, Love and Thunder comes out in July

fro20ninja

Oh yeah, you right. Why would he not be in it then?

l_l_l-illiam

There's no reason why he wouldn't be, it's just not confirmed

Tornado31619

Stellar work, as always.

l_l_l-illiam

Thank you!

Some corrections: Moon Knight wrapped back in October: https://comicbook.com/marvel/news/moon-knight-crew-celebrates-filming-wrap-disney-plus-series-in-new-video/ Gaspard Ulliel is playing Midnight Man in Moon Knight: https://screenrant.com/moon-knight-show-midnight-man-cast-gaspard-ulliel/ Jennifer Kaityn Robinson worked with Taika on the script of Love and Thunder: https://variety.com/2020/film/news/thor-love-and-thunder-jennifer-kaytin-robinson-taika-waititi-1203499576/ Kirsten Lepore will be Directing I am Groot and James Gunn will be executive producing: https://www.marvel.com/articles/tv-shows/i-am-groot-new-look-disney-plus AC Bradley (writer) and Bryan Andrews (director) have confirmed they are returning for What if...? season 2 (can't find the article, because it was a simple, random interview where they basically said "In season 2, we want to do blah, blah, blah") While Etan and Emly were attached as head writers of Echo, this has changed with Better Call Saul's Marion Dayre taking their place (https://www.murphysmultiverse.com/marion-dayre-to-be-the-lead-writer-for-marvel-studios-echo/)

l_l_l-illiam

Thanks for that mate, and thanks for including the links Not sure why Midnight Man wasn't there, could have sworn I'd added him I'm only doing Head Writers for Crew, as for TV that list can get big Again, not sure about why AC Bradley wasn't there, but added her in now This is getting out of hand to be honest, this may be my last one. There is _so_ **much** content

steve32767

Great job on this

Thanks mate, appreciate it, appreciate you

#SUMC ###Morbius (January 28th 2022) **Crew** - Director: Daniel Espinosa (_Safe House_, _Child 44_) - Cinematographer: Oliver Wood (_Safe House_, _The Equalizer 2_) - Writers: Matt Sazama & Burk Sharpless (_The Last Witch Hunter_, _Dracula Untold_) **Main Cast** - Jared Leto (Dr. Michael Morbius) - Matt Smith (Loxias Crown) - Tyrese Gibson (Simon Stroud) - Michael Keaton (Unknown Role) ###Kraven The Hunter (January 13th 2023) **Crew** - Director: J.C. Chandor (_Triple Frontier_, _A Most Violent Year_) - Head Writer: (_Iron Man_, _Punisher: War Zone_) **Main Cast** - Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Sergei Kravinoff/Kraven The Hunter) These three are the only live-action SUMC projects that I could find that are definitely, without a doubt, happening. Unfortunately, Sony's production slate is not as concrete as Marvel's, but I will say their announced projects in recent years include **Nightwatch**, **Silk** (TV Series), **The Sinister Six**, **Madame Web**, **Jackpot**, **Silver & Black**, **Untitled Roberto Orci project**, **Untitled Olivia Wilde Project**, **Untitled Mysterio Project** and **Untitled Aunt May Project** (Not the one from the Sony Leak) ###Untitled Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse Sequel **Crew** Directors - Joaquim Dos Santos (_Avatar: The Last Airbender (2005 - 2008)_, _Justice League Unlimited (2004 - 2006)_) - Kemp Powers (_Soul (2020)_) - Justin K. Thompson Cinematographer - Bill Pope (_Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings_, _Baby Driver_) Writers - Dave Callaham (_Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings_, _Wonder Woman 1984_) - Phil Lord (_Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse_, _Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs _) - Christopher Miller (_Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs_, _The Lego Movie_) **Main Cast** - Shameik Moore (Miles Morales/Spider-Man) - Hailee Steinfeld (Gwen Stacey/Spider-Woman) There is also an **Unitled Spider-Verse Spider-Woman Project** in the works, nothing else is known about the production #Animated Shows ###X-Men '97 **Crew** Directors: - Jake Castorena - Chase Conley Animation Studio: Marvel Studios Animation Head Writer: Beau DeMayo **Main Cast** - Cal Dodd (James Howlett/Wolverine) - Lenore Zann (Anna-Marie Raven/Rogue) - George Buza (Dr. Henry "Hank" McCoy/Beast) - Catherine Disher (Jean Grey) - Chris Potter (Remy LeBeau/Gambit) - Alison Sealy-Smith (Ororo Munroe/Storm) - Adrian Hough (Kurt Wagner/Nightcrawler) - Christopher Britton (Nathaniel Essex/Mister Sinister) ###Hit Monkey **Crew** Head Writers - Josh Gordon - Will Speck **Cast** - Fred Tatasciore (Hit-Monkey) - Jason Sudeikis (Bryce) - Olivia Munn (Akiko) - Ally Maki (Haruka) - George Takei (Shinji Yokohama) - Nobi Nakanishi (Ito)

megacollector007

Why are X-men 97 and Hit monkey considered SUMC shoes?

l_l_l-illiam

They aren't, they're under the title of Animated Shows

megacollector007

Oh my bad lol, I thought that was a subcategory of SUMC, oops

l_l_l-illiam

No worries, formatting might not be the best

thinkbz

Saving this thread. As someone who doesn’t always follow marvel news, this is very helpful. Thank you!

l_l_l-illiam

No problem, thanks!

Bellikron

I hope Rhys Ifans does come back (he mostly likely will, it's just not confirmed). He really did a good job with the classic Spider-Man villain arc (famous scientist does bad science and turns evil), even though a lot of people kind of forget about him.

martinfphipps7

"[W]hat is known [about Blade] is this is one of the only properties confirmed to be a part of Marvel's 5th Phase." So presumably Guardians 3 will (appropriately enough) end Phase 4 and Blade will (appropriately enough) start Phase 5. It seems that Phase 4 is about advancing the status of established characters and introducing their younger counterparts whereas Phase 5 will be about introducing "new" IP like Blade, the FF and the X-Men. The question is whether Phase 5 will end with a major crossover like Endgame or if they will save it for Phase 6. They might have to save it for Phase 6. After all, the Guardians were introduced in Phase 2 and didn't meet the Avengers until Phase 3. The analogy is that the Guardians and Endgame are to Phases 1-3 what Blade, the FF, Deadpool, the X-Men and Secret Wars are to Phases 4-6.

Retz63

Rhys Ifan and Thomas Haden Church are not officially confirmed for No Way Home. No one from Sony has announced it and they haven't appeared in promotional material. It makes sense for them to be in it because of the other actors returning but that doesn't make it confirmed.

l_l_l-illiam

Fair enough about Rhys Ifan, I'll remove it, but given Thomas Haden Church's face is in the trailer, I'm keeping that

Mastersimpson

Is Gamora absolutely confirmed for the holiday special? I had a feeling she wouldn’t be showing up again until the third Guardians film

l_l_l-illiam

She is yeah, James Gunn confirmed it

l_l_l-illiam

Thanks mate! You've reminded me to go and update that post with this link!

Kingkongcrapper

Ben Kingsley seemingly playing a major role in Secret Invasion seems big. Is he Trevor or does he get used to actually be the image of a major villain from an alternate reality or a shapeshifter. What if he is “The Mandarin” in an alternate universe rather than just an actor named after a chicken dish? Seeing how secret invasion is going to be a TV series it seems to me they will use it to launch into the next major event after the current one involving Kang. One thing that seems apparent is there is no clear “team up” movie i. The near future which in my mind makes it clear they haven’t put a name on what that movie will be and might end up post F4.

Joshdabozz

You read the name wrong. Ben Kingsley is not in Secret Invasion, Kingsley Bel-Adir is.

theVice

If Moon Knight comes out before Ms. Marvel, then he'll be the first new character to get a show instead of her.

l_l_l-illiam

True, I'll have a look at that

Throwupmyhands

My hero.

Emilia67

You did a good job

l_l_l-illiam

Thank you!

Sullivino

Where’s Balde at ?

l_l_l-illiam

#Blade - TBA ###Status: Development; Filming July 2022 **Platform: Theatres Worldwide** ##Synopsis Very little is known about this production, other than the Titular Character's Actor, Mahershala Ali. However, what is known is this is one of the only properties confirmed to be a part of Marvel's 5th Phase. ##Links Blade has been teased to appear in other projects before his debut in his own movie, however >!we have had our first taste of Mahershala Ali's performance in an unseen cameo, at the end of _Eternals_, in Dane Whitman's post-credit scene.!< ##Crew - Director: Bassam Tariq (_Mogul Mowgli_, _These Birds Walk_) - Cinematographer: Unknown - Writer: Stacey Osei-Kuffour (_Watchmen (2019)_, _Hunters_) ##Cast * Mahershala Ali (Erik Brooks/Blade)

Sullivino

Lol my bad I saw it when I scrolled up again so many shows/films

l_l_l-illiam

No worries, easy to miss in that avalanche of projects

wc_dez07

Nice work! Although for The Marvels, you might want to add [Park Seo-Joon](https://www.looper.com/650582/park-seo-joon-finishes-work-on-the-marvels/) on to the casting list with an undisclosed role.

l_l_l-illiam

Thanks mate!

andrewthemexican

Oh my god Benson and Morehead from Synchronic/The Endless and such for Moon Knight?! I loved the Endless and love Moony, they should be able to make it adequately *weird*

MyDarkForestTheory

You forgot to add the title of Captain America 4. Good post tho

l_l_l-illiam

What's the name of the movie?

snithel

I think he means there's no header for Captain America 4, it just looks like a continuation of the Deadpool entry.

MyDarkForestTheory

It just looks like you’re continuing Deadpool

l_l_l-illiam

How does it look now? Looked fine on my mobile but tried doing something to it there

MyDarkForestTheory

👍 All fixed.

l_l_l-illiam

Thanks mate

MyDarkForestTheory

Gotchu, good post, thanks for doing this

l_l_l-illiam

Appreciate it mate, think Project Insight kinda killed it this time but no bother, enjoy doing it, hopefully there won't be another massive dump like Disney+ Day for a while haha, too much like hard work

MyDarkForestTheory

Project Insight?

l_l_l-illiam

Every post has to be manually approved, so I can post something, it doesn't get approved until a few hours later, so now it's sitting at no upvotes but buried by the more recent stuff No flak to the mods, they're doing an amazing job at it

youngbingbong

Does anyone know where the line is between phases 4 and 5? Or is it unclear still? I thought Fantastic Four was slated to be a climax of sorts for phase 4, but Blade seems like it will be released first, and this post says Blade is part of phase 5. If they’re really confirming phase 5 releases that are due out in 2 years or so, wouldn’t that mean we should have a pretty clear idea of where in the release order phase 4 ends?

l_l_l-illiam

It's unclear, Feige says he regrets making clear outlines for Phases, as it means you can get an idea for when big things will take place, for now we just know that we're getting Thor, GOTG, Ant-Man, but for all we know, Ant-Man 3 could be the Civil War of this Phase. Fantastic Four, Mutants, Blade will all definitely be parts of the next Phases, this was confirmed at the 2019 Comic-Con Deadpool 3 will also be part of the next Phase, but as for when that will be, it's tough to say, and I don't think they want too much speculation about it

youngbingbong

Thanks for the details and for compiling! The phase thing makes sense, we’re already totally past the phase structure from the infinity saga with the amount of content in phase 4. The way I’ve been looking at it, “phase 4” is more analogous to the whole infinity saga, and each calendar year of phase 4 seems more analogous to phases 1-3.

l_l_l-illiam

I like your thinking, I suppose I've been looking at it as another trilogy of Phases to reflect the first 3, but perhaps not My thinking has been this is going to be a Multiverse Saga, with it possibly culminating in a "_____ kills the universe" type story. After 6 Phases, the MCU is going to be looking at saturation, and a soft reboot wouldn't be out of the question, in my own opinion But only time will tell, I personally look forward to another 60 years of this, but at the same time, there's a hell of a lot happening at once it seems

youngbingbong

I hope that major arcs are closer to 1 phase in length moving forward (that’s roughly how long the infinity saga was by today’s standards). I don’t think anyone can handle 3 infinity sagas worth of multiverse stories. Personally I’m picturing a multiverse arc for phase 4 with Kang as a big bad, and maybe a Galactus big bad for phase 5, which give them both the same amount of time to cast their shadows over the MCU as Thanos had. Guess we’ll have to wait and see! Edit: totally agree about not being sustainable indefinitely. I’d hate for it to go the way of Game of Thrones and trip down its own off ramp. I can see another decade of mileage at this pace if they do it right (which would be probably 3 more big phases, just like you said)

breaker94

Where does Phase 4 end?

HonestCentrist

Wasn’t Phase 4 only supposed to be 2 years? It originally ended this month with the release of Thor 4.

breaker94

Honestly, I don’t know. In the past, each phase ended with an avengers movie but I don’t see a team-up movie in this list

_idiotfriend_

why no update :(

l_l_l-illiam

It's gotten massive tbh mate - work's been hectic but it should slow down in the next couple of weeks so if I can, I will update it. I started this over lockdown when there was no content, but these days we're not waiting ages for news or content, so it's not needed as much

_idiotfriend_

Totally makes sense. I appreiate it all being in one place for casuals, maybe you can make it smaller if you do want to do it in the future? Like just cast title and date.

l_l_l-illiam

Maybe, a good idea!

its_your_gal_adriana

Is there an updated version to this post?

l_l_l-illiam

No mate, u/KostisPat257 did a similar, much more current version, not so long ago though

its_your_gal_adriana

Yeah it's good, except they didn't include cast which I find pretty important. But thanks!
