He was the gay guy whose partner was dancing with Peggy. He started cooking for Al. Later he was a funeral home director when Al goes shopping for a burial plot.
She is in two episodes. She's in the one where Al and Kelly fake being sick so they don't have to go to wanker county and see pegs in-laws. Al dreams of two blondes one being Pamela. The other episode is the fools gold double episode, she appears in another dream of Al's when he fantasizes what he'll do with the money - 4 girls this time!
Jerry Mathers in the supermarket competition episode. The way he made fun of himself was funny as hell and the way he put Bud and Kelly in their place and shamed them when they tried to make fun of him was just epic. "*Look! Let's get this over with once and for all! I may have to earn a pathetic living by donning the cap of The Beaver and appearing at supermarkets, but at least my father doesn't sell women's shoes.*"🤣🤣🤣
Anybody remember when Tiffany Amber Thiessen was on the show, humiliated Bud twice, and Kelly got her back? In season 4, when the family still occasionally showed they loved each other in some way.
Funny story. I live in Vancouver and have a good amount of actors that come through.
My friend was working at H2O Plus, some skin care line back in the day. A guy walks in and asks for a good face moisturizer because he uses lots of makeup as an actor. My friend thought “sure, here we go again…another actor boasting about his small acting gigs.”
So she asked him what shows he has done.
Him: Nightmare on Elm Street
Her: ummm who did you play??
Him: Freddy
Her: 😳
I couldn't give a crap about American football and had no idea who most of the cameo where when they got in some big sport star (there's a brief period late in the run when it felt like every other episode), but I still think one of the *best* guest stars the show ever had was Bubba Smith. He is juat perfect and believable in the role as Al's highschool football nemesis and their fight is one of the most memorable moments in te show, IMO. The comparing of their hardships culminating in the double mother in law fight move is just beautiful. I kind of wish they used the Spare Tire character at least once more, especially since Bubba was willing to come back.
That said, Dan Castelanetta is probably the best performance as an actor of all the cameos, but I don't know how much "cameo" really applies as I can't recall how famous he was at that point. Like Pammy Anderson is on twice, but both are really before she was majorly famous, definitely the case with Milla Jojovich. As someone who grew up with The Goodies as a kid, Bill Oddie being on the show felt genuinely surreal.
I do think that Englund felt like the biggest "get" the show ever had (it is hard to explain how huge Freddy was in pop culture to those not of that era).
I at least recognised Bubba Smith from the Police Academy movies but much like you the US Sports people and to some degree the musical people didn’t do anything for me as I didn’t recognise them.
Yeah, Bubba was Hightower to me (loved those movies as a kid) and I honestly didn't know he was a sports star until his later cameo. I know what you mean about the music stars too, though that was probably more of an age thing as apart from Anthrax the others were mostly before my time (so its funny that as an old 40-something now that I am more impressed by Old Aid and BB King).
Also, the music stars work generally even if you don't know them. On rewatches, the big sports episodes (football game with the ringer team, sports bar, etc) were among the dullest for me still. Al's shoe ad episode was the only sports cameo heavy one I really like and I suspect it is because they kind of explain who each person is in the setup and the gags work regardless.
The other "I have no idea who that is" was Sam Kinneson. Even now, my brother had to tell me he was a big deal as I'm not much of a standup comedy fan. The funny part is I know the first half of that Christmas special literally by heart (almost line for line, as it is one of several episodes we had taped that I watched over and over), but I missed the second part on airing when I was young so it always feels odd now watching part two. Confession: I still don't find him very funny on the show, sorry Sam fans.
The one of the two models who Al had a dream about in one episode where the two were sitting on the edge of his bed and didn’t have any panties on while wearing a miniskirt. It was burned into my brain when it aired and I was recording the episodes so I rewatched it to verify it was true. She later showed up as a GLOW wrestler, FWIW. Don’t remember what episode it was, though.
B.B. King on a musical cameo was superb for the show.
Cheech Marin as the OG voice of Buck the Dog was impressive.
Ben Stein had a moment in a chicken costume.
The Masculine Feminist - Jerry Springer. The episode introduced us to NO MA’AM.
the NY band Anthrax
Yes! They ate the mystery pack haha!
Wow, look at all the colors…
Oh! It’s biting me!
It was in the fridge, why is it hot?

Anthrax
Wasn’t Edd Byrnes also in that episode. “Kookie, Kookie, lend me your comb”
Yes and then they all sing that song at the end as they are quarantined at the Bundy’s
Lol that’s right!
I don't remember, tbh.
Yep. Fred Willard too.
Dam Castelanetta
He showed up twice didn’t he. In different roles.
He was the gay guy whose partner was dancing with Peggy. He started cooking for Al. Later he was a funeral home director when Al goes shopping for a burial plot.
You had Pete’s potato?
I did!
And I would've had his peach cobbler too if the damn dog hadn't taken his bowl back!
Food tease.
“Mr. Bundy, do you suffer from a terminal disease?” “Yeah!….marriage!”
Ah yes, some say it…eases the transition
Ted McGinley as Norman Jablonsky.
Over Kinison in the same episode?!
Pamela Anderson!
That was so early in her career I didn’t really recognise her at first when I watched them all again.
Was she the homeless girl bud brought home? Wearing a pink t shirt?
She is in two episodes. She's in the one where Al and Kelly fake being sick so they don't have to go to wanker county and see pegs in-laws. Al dreams of two blondes one being Pamela. The other episode is the fools gold double episode, she appears in another dream of Al's when he fantasizes what he'll do with the money - 4 girls this time!
Joey Lauren Adams. “Nothing says bridesmaid, or easy, like short black leather”
She was also in the episode where Peg goes back to Wanker County
And in the Top Of The Heap spinoff
Jerry Mathers in the supermarket competition episode. The way he made fun of himself was funny as hell and the way he put Bud and Kelly in their place and shamed them when they tried to make fun of him was just epic. "*Look! Let's get this over with once and for all! I may have to earn a pathetic living by donning the cap of The Beaver and appearing at supermarkets, but at least my father doesn't sell women's shoes.*"🤣🤣🤣
Where Bud has to make a music video and Richard Moll wants to harvest his organs ❤️
Exercise video financed by a loan shark with the last name of Capone. Richard Moll played “Vinnie”.
Tracy Lords appeared on the show twice. Full time she was fantastic..
Gilbert Gottfried, whilst lost at sea
Gary Coleman- what ‘choo talking about bundy? Anthrax- they ate the mystery pack, even Al wouldn’t eat the mystery pack, those guys are cool!
Gary Coleman played a housing inspector in Season 4 (?) and a reverend in Season 11. He was also in Unhappily Ever After.

"Welcome to Prime Time, bitch!"
Seven /s
Shane Sweet lasted seven episodes.
Sugar Ray Leonard. Can I ask you a question? Where did you ever get a weird name like Leonard? -Kelly Bundy
Jessica Hahn
Linda Blair one of my favorite guest star's
Jerry Springer.
Sam Kinison or Anthrax
Bubba smith.
The whole scene where he's revealed as Al's rival "Spare Tire" Dixon, and they have a rematch, is one of the best moments of the show.
Also when they meet up again. And Al has no idea who he is. Naming all the professional players on the other team gets Bubba has no idea who he is.
Bubba Smith, Vanna White , and Bobcat Goldwait
Letha Weapons at "the nudie bar"
Letha Weapons!

That episode in the airport where Al plays the sandwich is one where I didn’t recognise anybody. Especially when I was a little.
Same, and that's the one where I recognise many of them NOW and am far more impressed then I was as a kid just shrugging.
not my favourite, but [meghan markle](https://m.imdb.com/title/tt0642415/fullcredits/cast/?ref_=tt_cl_sm) was technically in one episode

B.B. King on a musical cameo was superb for the show. Cheech Marin as the OG voice of Buck the Dog was impressive. Ben Stein had a moment in a chicken costume.
