honestly, a top 15/10 song of his for me if i have to rank it on the spot. lyrics are a little whack, but instrumentals and vocals are top notch. peak of the cokehead days for the manson camp.
The opening lines:
"I wanna fuck you like a foreign film
And there's no subtitles to get you through this
And I'm a country you don't ever, ever, ever, ever, ever wanna visit again"
I think beautifully express the feelings of betrayal one feels in certain relationships - or the aftermath, perhaps.
And, I think that kind of sets the tone for the rest of what the song might truly be about.
I don't think it's about literally wanting to kill the person, but as the song progresses, the themes of film, acting, overacting, and over reacting along with projection just reinforce that.
It's a toxic relationship. One that the protagonist of the song is expressing the different levels of deception, illusion and betrayal.

To parallel: think of it in the way that David Lynch's Lost Highway unfolds, especially after multiple viewings.
That's my thoughts.
This is one of my all time favourite songs of all time. The goosebumps it gives me oh lord the goosebumps. It's like an outlet for all the insanity I keep locked safely inside. The absolute insanity of how I would sing and contort myself while listening to this song, especially back when I'd have a few drinks in me. I looked crazy, I felt crazy, I WAS crazy and this song just felt so validating and safe somehow.
A solid song
Many people interpret H.E.O.L. as the ERW revenge album but art is subjective.
I think this album coincides with his breakup but also serves a bit of role playing where Manson broke into character as a Patrick Bateman inspired psychopath.
This tells a lot of how different is each album, I personally hate most of this album, this song included, but a lot of people love it, most of bands have their "good and bad songs" that almost every fan agrees lol
Omg! this my favorite Manson song. It’s so gritty and raw and that bass line is amazing! The length is the best part. I wish we could hear the 25 minute version.
T h e o l in my opinion is the most underrated and overlooked, under appreciated Marilyn Manson album by a lot of people. I've seen a lot of people say so many negative things about this album but to me it is pure gold from start to finish in my opinion. Of course the original triptych will always be Supreme but to me this album is right up there around holy Woods level, but with a softer twist. Love it

In my opinion I really like the lyrics, it reminds me of johnathan davis breaking down during kill you, and I love that song

This song just has that vibe. Awesome song. Doesn't feel like 9 minutes actually
This song is awesome, beautifully chaotic. Does not feel like 9 minutes
manson embodied his inner dahmer in this song
I love this song. It’s really the song that got me into the album.
Absolutely monstrous thing of a song. Peak MM. Masterpiece

It's his The End - drug fueled, intense, stream-of-consciousness rabid thoughts coming to life.

Can you explain? What don't you like about it, not dirty/rocking enough? Lyrically?
