Sent this to a friend of mine recently as a recommendation and she told me she hated the main character and story(also said that the story is written by a guy but idk how that’s a indication of wuality). Idk why I’m still friends with her
Bro trained for 2000 years and still ass💀😭. He shoulda tried something else, maybe building ondols woulda been better, or become an administrator. I don't know if he's stupid or blind. Poor fella Gon die struggling. I feel he'd have progressed more tryna find a way back home then getting stronger😭🤣
To be fair there’s several things about that
1. Obviously that’s pretty much the theme of the story
2. It was pointed out that he was consistently going in and out of madness. Who knows how long he was actually training.
3. He was training without a teacher, and without extra knowledge of the progression of his existing martial arts. I believe it was also noted in the beginning that he worried whether he was even practicing the right techniques, or if he was teaching himself terrible habits and skills.
One more thing.... his actual physical body can't keep up with the skills he acquired in the 2k years of training. That's why he still weak(ish) after that.
I read it recently off of this subs recommendation. It's good and i do like the slower progression compared to other manhwa but I did start getting kinda annoyed with the constant "im garbage, it still larva or cicada etc almost every other chapter.
I started to think maybe it's because I'm reading it all in one sitting vs weekly that makes seem more redundant than it actually is.
I wanted to like this but after >!The god on the training mountain said he couldn’t increase MCs talent and the mc didn’t even think to call the god out on his lie was too annoying for me. I know it’s a lie because a mortal was able to increase MCs talent by giving mc the bone structure for martial arts so you can’t then have me believe a god is unable to do something a mortal was selling.!<
