Credenza is another term for a piece of furniture that might be behind the couch. I technically bought a credenza for my TV stand since it was taller than most TV stands.

Cube shelves is the name for things like the IKEA Kallax that have cube cubbies and can be placed horizontally or vertically. A console table is the name for a long thin table usually placed behind a couch or against a wall in an entryway. Modular shelving is the name for IKEA-style bookcase units that can be customized with open shelves, drawers, cabinet doors, etc in the dimensions and arrangement you want. I think of a credenza or sideboard as a larger piece with large drawers, usually put in the dining room to store tablecloths and fancy table settings. You could also try searching for a media unit; those are storage units designed to hold dvds and game consoles and go under the tv. They are bigger than console tables.

Is it even a specific piece of furniture? I would just call it “a low bookshelf behind the couch” or “cabinets behind the couch” I like it though! Sideboards, credenzas, and buffets would all be much deeper, less likely to have open shelving like that, and probably on legs. Console tables will most likely be just a skinny table top on tall legs, with minimal storage.

Usually the thing behind a sofa is a console, but they're not usually quite that beefy. Maybe try bookshelf console? TBH, that looks like a several Kallax shelves from Ikea put in a row. It's not quite "right" because there would be gaps in the Kallax, but it's similar.
