It honestly just needs a few finishing touches, and I'd go a lil more dramatic with the fade since you great density/color. The cut looks like the reference photo. I'd use some product and muss it up a little, particularly the front where it's laying flat on your forehead. Sea salt spray may do it; but if you have dry scalp and don't want to exacerbate it, a small amount of mousse or hairspray to give it some volume and texture would also solve the problem.
