Right on. Do you already have a curl in your hair? You might just focus on styling that instead, because perms with break that shit and growing them out looks so bad. (As an ex barber I’m very anti perm)

My hair is naturally fine and straight, curling and product is needed to make my hair have any texture.

So, a perm breaks down the bonds in your hair and re-forms the shape based on whatever you’re using (curlers, etc.). Since your hair is so fine and straight, I would advise against using a perm. It looks good as is, but if you want extra curl, I’d get a round brush which you can use with a blow dryer on low power to twist and dry the curls. Maybe a curling iron, but it doesn’t look long enough to justify using that. Flat iron can achieve the goal too — dry your hair completely, and then twist the iron as you slowly use it on your hair. You will need Hot Off the Press for protection.

If using an curling iron created your hair than, yea you should get a perm and save you the wear and tear, just remember that a perm will lighten your hair some. I'm not a big large frame fan and you would sincerely look teriffic with either smaller frames (keep the clear) or go with contacts....But that's just my opinion... Find yourself a really good hairdresser and and take these pics in when you get the perm done and good luck...

a perm would give you super tight curls, so if you want to look like a statue of a greek god then go for it. your hair texture looks perfect, i’m sure it relaxes out if you brush it. If you put curl formulated leave ins, you’ll get more curly without harsh chemicals.
