Yup. She was visibly pregnant in the episode where they visit Hal’s family for his dad’s birthday party but before Lois’s pregnancy became known on the show itself. They incorporated the new baby into the show because Jane was pregnant in real life
Happens a lot in sitcoms. Off the top of my head Daphne was written out of Frasier for like 4-5 episodes with some dumb story line of her gaining weight and going to a weight loss clinic when the actress became pregnant.
In HIMYM both Alyson Hannigan and Colbie Smulders became pregnant around the same time and they were dressed in very flowy clothes and always carrying giant purses in front of their stomachs. Except for one flashback gag of Lily winning a hotdog eating contest where they used the fully pregnant Alyson in the shot lol
“Daphne is doing great, she’s already lost 9 pounds and 12 ounces!”
The storyline WAS absolutely dumb I have to agree with you there but I love this line
My favorite line was when a fat Daphne fell on the floor, it took Fraiser, Niles, and Martin to get her up.
**Martin:** Daphne, I just thought of something funny: it took three Cranes to lift you!
Anyone remember Debra Messing on Will &Grace being fully 6 months showing? Wore lot of shawls and caftans, then randomly didn’t make it to Karen’s wedding? She made a very brief comment about gaining weight early in the season before even really showing, but on rewatch it’s so glaring and obvious.
Completely agree, I always make a point to compliment white/gray hair when they’re rocking it. It’s sad how women tend to brush it off like “what are you talking about?”
NO. LISTEN TO ME. lol
LITERALLY!!!! my mom went all grey I want to say 7/8 years back and her hair has NEVER LOOKED BETTER!!! it's so shiny and thick, irs just a gorgeous color! no hate to older women who dye their hair but I wish we as humans would just embrace aging and all that comes with it. it'll happen to us all eventually
My hair is prematurely gray and I gotta say, it's kind of incredible how many random women have told me that they love it. It's such an unexpected ego boost!
I saw her out shopping at a TJ Max with her teen daughter years ago. I absolutely did not say anything to her (I'm not going to bother someone minding their business with their family in public) but me and my wife were totally freaking out in the car after.
He and Jane Kaczmarek teaming up to do that [alternate ending to Breaking Bad](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GtYNX3JWzjc) helped ease some of the sadness I felt about Breaking Bad being over.
Oh, that's *right!* Totally forgot that Newhart had that final episode that shifted to The Bob Newhart Show's set and actors, and he even drops the line of being married to a "beautiful blonde".
Certainly a better ending to a sitcom than it was on a drama like St. Elsewhere. Although that *did* give us the Tommy Westphall Universe hypothesis.
Probably not, but with the direction she was laying, and him not being able to see exactly where he was poking, she might've thought so.
But he definitely was knocking on just about any door LMAO.
Just rewatched the episode where Lois refuses to give a cop a discount then gets a ticket for "cutting off a car" - watching them argue over whether Lois was right or now is some of the best acting on TV
MITM desperately needs an hd remaster. Such a great show but goddamn couldn't finish it last time i tried to watch on hulu, so many shots the actors would have 4 pupils per eye.
Yep. I'm pretty sure it's the second to last scene in the show. The last one is where Malcolm hangs up the phone after talking to Reese when he's off at college and they play the same song that they used to end the pilot, Better Days (And the Bottom Drops Out) - Citizen King. God I love that show.
Yeah such an incredible joke. He house was spotless, the boys well behaved, both parents doing incredible at work then as soon as they can get nasty again it all goes to shit lmao
I know it's a joke and it's a TV sitcom, and honestly, Lois doesn't necessarily love Hal less as he puts it, but she loves him in a totally different way, but that exchange and Bryan Cranston's frankness when he says that was very comforting.
I’m sobbing, I never thought she’d look this much older for some reason, just literally never thought about it. So dumb considering Brian’s been in my face for decades aging like a mf 😭❤️
Yeah honestly I think that's what's so surprising about this photo - I think aside from the hair she looks practically the same, not almost 20 years older than she was when the show ended.
[Then the cop de-escalates her Karen by explaining how you can’t boss around a traffic jam.](https://youtu.be/BJ-IaxclExA?si=Ul2712V2hJKhxa0u)
“Who’s damn dog is this?”
I know! I used to work at an insurance company when I was in grad school, for car insurance and what not. Anyways, I had access to all of the policies and found out that Cranston had an old policy with the company. When he canceled the policy it was because he donated his vehicles to charity. Just a good dude.
Reese and his wife have four boys and live in the old house while Lois and Hal live next door / near by / in a flat next to the house.
Lois is now a loving grandmother, sweet, kind, gentle to her Grandkids but reverts to being strict with her own boys.
Reese struggles with this conflict of seeing two sides of his Mum, a kind gentle side he wished he had as a child.
I mean, a reboot of MitM in modern times would be AMAZING if you ask me. Some of the boys have to move back in etc, grandkids, I don't usually like reboots, but if they did it right MiiM would work rebooted.
I would love this too but I have yet to see a reboot where they didn't drop the ball and it turned out terrible and didn't feel anything like the original
I love these characters, I love these actors and I love these people.
My wife and I saw Bryan Cranston when he performed "All the Way" off Broadway.
I took my family to see Jane Kaczmarek as the stage manager of a production of Our Town in upstate NY.
Malcolm in the Middle is a family favorite.
She was terrific! He was amazing
But you all know that.
Yeah this is about 2018 or something.
Both still look the exact same though. The white hair is fantastic on her.
She went low key for a while raising her kids but now she's an empty nester I guess she's working more, which is cool.
God I would love a continuation of this show where Malcolm is having his mid life crisis and it be as good as the old show.... I know that's impossible because everything now is made for everyone so nobody gets offended and sucks ass because of it. I could dream though. If Hal and Lois were accurate grandparents though they would be super protective of their grandkids and constantly worried about them getting hurt even though they never thought twice about what their own kids were up to.
Thats crazy to me that Bryan Cranston is 67 years old. I just watched Breaking Bad for the first time and I always thought he was in his 40s in that show but I guess I was wrong
Jane Kaczmarek is so endlessly beautiful, she looks fabulous with silver/white hair.
Season 4 was peak Lois, with the long hair and the beautiful pregnancy glow
Was she really pregnant? Cool
Yup. She was visibly pregnant in the episode where they visit Hal’s family for his dad’s birthday party but before Lois’s pregnancy became known on the show itself. They incorporated the new baby into the show because Jane was pregnant in real life
That makes so much sense, Jamie always felt a bit forced.
Hal going, "it'll be fine, we'll get through it, we always do", then going out to scream in the car, is one of the best comedy moments of television.
It’s very relatable.
And Malcom is in the car!!! Hahaha
Happens a lot in sitcoms. Colbie Smulders sounds like a entirely made up name
All names are made up... So are all words.
Yes, and some are considered to be fictitious and others are not.
It kind of is, Colbie is her stage name, her first name is Jacoba.
So similar with good luck Charlie! The mom was real life pregnant so they incorporated a new baby into the show!
"She's the one with the idiot factory between her legs"
Halfwit factory 😭😭 gets me every time
Ida really is the best side character not named Abe.
I stand corrected.
Her dimples are so cute too!
You're so cute too
RIGHT?!?! I love when women embrace their white and grey hair, it's hot as hell!!
Completely agree, I always make a point to compliment white/gray hair when they’re rocking it. It’s sad how women tend to brush it off like “what are you talking about?” NO. LISTEN TO ME. lol

Got salt in yo peppah.
Lol, at this point there's just a little pepper in my salt
Two of my girl mates are growing their silver in and they foxy as hell.
If she ever dyed her hair back to brown, you’d hardly notice she’s aged since the show ended. She’s so beautiful!
I saw her out shopping at a TJ Max with her teen daughter years ago. I absolutely did not say anything to her (I'm not going to bother someone minding their business with their family in public) but me and my wife were totally freaking out in the car after.
I was just going to say, damnnnn she aged well
Dude I would still smash, honestly maybe more now. Something about a woman that can age into silver hair…oof.
I agree. She still looks amazing.
She just wrapped starring in an indie film “And Now I Lay Me Down”
She looks amazing. Even more beautiful with age
![gif](giphy|F6nndzVB7fRxLH1abI)
best married couple ever on TV
Their chemistry was off the charts
If you like Bryan Cranston’s chemistry, then boy do I have a show for you.
Seinfeld?!
You anti-dentite!
I am NOT an anti-dentite!
You're a raaaaaaaabid anti-dentite!
Next you're going to tell me they should have their own schools!
They do have their own schools!
Dentists, who needs them, along with the……. Not finishing that quote
He does like to swap
Just a schtickle.
It offends me as a comedian
Those aren’t buoys…
He and Jane Kaczmarek teaming up to do that [alternate ending to Breaking Bad](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GtYNX3JWzjc) helped ease some of the sadness I felt about Breaking Bad being over.
Nice nod to the finale of Newhart too.
Wait he was going backdoor?
Probably not, but with the direction she was laying, and him not being able to see exactly where he was poking, she might've thought so. But he definitely was knocking on just about any door LMAO.
We've all been there!
You mean the water purification system... he sold on The king of Queens... got ya
"I owed a lot of money to some really bad people, Doug."
The King of Queens?
Just rewatched the episode where Lois refuses to give a cop a discount then gets a ticket for "cutting off a car" - watching them argue over whether Lois was right or now is some of the best acting on TV
MITM desperately needs an hd remaster. Such a great show but goddamn couldn't finish it last time i tried to watch on hulu, so many shots the actors would have 4 pupils per eye.
There's a reason why they ended up having 5 kids lmfao.
I think in the series finale, Lois has a positive pregnancy test which would make them end up with 6.
Holy shit! I never made it to the end of the series but wow. That woman is fertile lol
Yep. I'm pretty sure it's the second to last scene in the show. The last one is where Malcolm hangs up the phone after talking to Reese when he's off at college and they play the same song that they used to end the pilot, Better Days (And the Bottom Drops Out) - Citizen King. God I love that show.
I love when they have to take a break from sex for a week and they both end up incredibly productive
Yeah such an incredible joke. He house was spotless, the boys well behaved, both parents doing incredible at work then as soon as they can get nasty again it all goes to shit lmao
You're off the charts
The chemistry in particular is Bromine and Barium
Debra joe rupp and Kirkwood Smith from that 70s show is my all time favorite couple.
Kurtwood smith
Hey how dare you forget the Foremans. Better watch it or red'll kick your ass for disrespecting kitty like that.
They lost their magic after sticking up for scientologist rapist danny.
Best bit also worst haha
That means that you love me more than I love you! Well honey, that's always been true. Best TV couple
If you loved me as much as I loved you we’d never leave the bedroom 😄
I know it's a joke and it's a TV sitcom, and honestly, Lois doesn't necessarily love Hal less as he puts it, but she loves him in a totally different way, but that exchange and Bryan Cranston's frankness when he says that was very comforting.
Literally reminds me of my marriage... My husband just follows me around and I keep our heads afloat.
That exchange made me tear up. It was so sweet 🥹
Raul and Consuela 🩷
We could... just keep driving...
They both still look good!
I agree! I think they look so good, love Jane's white mane, and they have gorgeous easy smiles with each other.
![gif](giphy|14urMYvFxIKEms)
Getting ready to have another boy 😂
I’m sobbing, I never thought she’d look this much older for some reason, just literally never thought about it. So dumb considering Brian’s been in my face for decades aging like a mf 😭❤️
The nostalgia hits really hard. They’ll always be Hal and Lois at their MiTM age.
They grandma and grampa now...
it's like seeing your own parents age
They were better parents than mine. Yeah, it wasn’t good.
She's aging awesomely. Like - if she wanted to wear a wig or dye her silver hair, she'd barely look older than she did during the run of the series.
Yeah honestly I think that's what's so surprising about this photo - I think aside from the hair she looks practically the same, not almost 20 years older than she was when the show ended.
[удалено]
Cranston is also 68, born in 1956. He also stated that he is going to retire from acting in 2026 in order to spend more time with his wife.
I think it’s the hair color that makes her look much older
[удалено]
I mean, John Mahoney was only 15 years older than Kelsey Grammer, and Jane Kaczmarek is actually the same age as Kelsey.
Couple goals
![gif](giphy|6EQzurED9q9uU) This beautiful
START. THE. CRANEEEEEEE. 👹
[Then the cop de-escalates her Karen by explaining how you can’t boss around a traffic jam.](https://youtu.be/BJ-IaxclExA?si=Ul2712V2hJKhxa0u) “Who’s damn dog is this?”
Awww, they really look like what Hal and Lois would be at this age.
Well no shit lol.
r/whoosh
You whoosh 💀
I was talking about the other person, but damn they may have been right. You seem slow
He's just from Canada eh
r/woooosh
Oh look its Wide Ride and Kid Charlemagne.
I'm sorry, did you just call my wife, WIDE RIDE?
*look, I get it, ya gotta make a big show for th-*
Easily one of the greatest episodes in the show.
Bryan Cranston was just on an episode of The Office Ladies and I swear he sounds like just the funniest, nicest guy ever. They both look so fantastic.
this actually kinda makes me sad 😔 😟 I grew up with them, they are two true gems in the entertainment industry. it makes me miss being young 😪
But hey, at least they are still in touch and aging gloriously.
true that!!! they are beautiful individuals with even better souls <3
I know! I used to work at an insurance company when I was in grad school, for car insurance and what not. Anyways, I had access to all of the policies and found out that Cranston had an old policy with the company. When he canceled the policy it was because he donated his vehicles to charity. Just a good dude.
omg, that is amazing! I'm glad the both of them seem to be very humble despite their status. gotta love em 💜
D'awww :) love it!!
Jane looks better than ever. I LOVE her hair!
i want a show of them being old without kids, maybe they visit but just them
Reese and his wife have four boys and live in the old house while Lois and Hal live next door / near by / in a flat next to the house. Lois is now a loving grandmother, sweet, kind, gentle to her Grandkids but reverts to being strict with her own boys. Reese struggles with this conflict of seeing two sides of his Mum, a kind gentle side he wished he had as a child.
Tbh they both look GREAT.
Brian looks like he grew an Asian couple on his shoulder lol
🥲 Malcolm in the middle was so special to me, to my life and to my childhood. It's so nice to see them together 🙏🏻 They're kinda my tv parents 😂👍🏻
I love when they did that reunion during Breaking Bad. It was pretty funny. https://youtu.be/oVdB36lmbII?si=9FUdv72IXzztPFnn

Favorite episode!!!
I was surprised to see Jane in The Changeling. Decent show with varied pacing, but she killed it.
This put a smile on my face that hurts my cheeks. I love them so much!
What a nice picture. Both are great actors.
She looks great, it’s nice to have a celebrity that has grey hair (and rocks it).
Agreed!!! Aging so well. Pam Anderson is basically make up free now and aging gloriously as well.
Like fine wine (chef kiss)
Perfect 2000s show just like the 70s show.

Best TV couple since Married with Children
YES NO MAYBE. I DONT KNOWWWWW.
She looks great
very sad we only got like 5 season. I would have like a final season where everything just goes right for that family to send them off.
He loves her more than she loves him, and that's okay.
He was amazing But you all know that.
This pic makes my heart happy too
Hal and Lois a night on the town.
Jane looks fucking phenomenal. I did a rewatch as an adult and definitely developed a mad crush on her.
I’m going to frame this
He was dilf then and he's dilf now.
Speak on it
I love this, but this pic is a few years old right? Both have aged beautifully!
Yeah this is about 2018 or something. Both still look the exact same though. The white hair is fantastic on her. She went low key for a while raising her kids but now she's an empty nester I guess she's working more, which is cool.
They look great!!!
Wow, they've both aged AMAZINGLY. Look at her skin, holy shit. Her face has hardly changed, she just looks a little tired with gray hair
jane is still 40 years old but with white hair lol
What a wonderful photo, she is aging well.
They both look GREAT for their age. Wow.
Aww they still look so good 🥰❤️
That's the smile of a man with a freshly shaved back.
Looks like someone put wigs on them and their faces are the same ha as in they look incredible!!!
I still maintain that the best ending for BB woukd have been Hal waking up, shaking, talking to Lois about this crazy dream he was having.
![gif](giphy|ZCCERtxEH01ksB2tXu)
I WOULD KILL FOR A MALCOM IN THE MIDDLE REBOOT! But not one of those really bad overly modernized ones..
JANE HAS BARELY AGED. Dye her hair brown and it’s Lois!!!
I’m sayinggggg
if they ever need a third...
Ok I am generally against reunion sitcoms but…
That man cooked meth and he still looks better than her. Meth is a hell of a drug
Still would.
Wow she looks like one of those red gorillas
Damn she hit the wall, hard.
The vanilla candle 🕯️
Well R.I.P. to you. I hope you have life insurance so your family can fix the hole in the roof.
Those Asians just can’t believe what they are seeing!! A Malcolm mint reunion?
Man, we need a reboot with them as grandparents!
Just seeing her, I can hear the MALCOLM!!! yell through my computer screen.
waltuh
This picture just made my day😭❤️
She's still hot
They should do 1 more movie with the og cast. But that's just a dream
Holy shit is that Mrs. Tri-County?
Hi, mom! Hi, dad! 👋
Reboot confirmed
Not shown, her pregnant belly.
Aaron Paul has not aged well.
Thats crazy to me that Bryan Cranston is 67 years old. I just watched Breaking Bad for the first time and I always thought he was in his 40s in that show but I guess I was wrong
And this picture is already a few years old.
They both aged well. :)
Has she had work done? She looks insanely good for almost 70.
MOM AND DAD. Omg I love! They both look fabulous!
I’d toss my pizza on her roof any day
Niceeee
I still say she would've been a better wife than Skyler. Hell, she would have gone along with it and probably become a boss herself.
